I was broken down in my diesel motorhome a few days after Christmas. The owner of White s and Zeb came over 30 miles and determined it was the starter on the Cummins engine. They worked til 1:30 am getting the starter off. They then had to find a starter. Later that day they showed up at about noon with a new starter. Within an hour, I was up and running. I could not have been happier with the service, and I highly recommend White s for your diesel repair needs.

I went to this place to replace the air hose for fun;the Micanic guy he did good job within 5 minutes I appreciate him; ..how ever the other guy may be his boss ,when I come to the payment he changed me extremely un fair price $400 I asked him kindly could you please give me reasonable fair price? He started yelling at me & actioning to BEAT me; please guys be careful when you going to this shop and then make sure ask the price before they are doing ..please see the attached pic

On Oc. 8 had a very bad fuel leak on our truck as we came into Vernon, TX. Called Whites diesel, they came out to check our truck. Drove 7 miles into their shop. They repaired the split, high pressure fuel line. Advised that we also needed a new glow plug module, but they declined to replace this part. (Probably because it was 5pm.) On Oct. 12 we replaced the module ourselves. At this time it was noticed that a part on the top of the motor was missing. We called Chris to let him know about this missing part, and sent him a picture. We also sent him a picture from the internet of what the part was. We were assured that he would check the shop, and let us know. Next day we called him back, and he said he hadn t been back to the shop since we called him the day before. As of Oct. 17, we have had no response from him. We ordered the cover that was left off, a $ 60.00 part. On a positives note, no diesel leaks, and the cost of repair seemed fair. At almost $100 an hour for labor, we expected all parts to be replaced, that were removed.

Mechanic from this shop improperly installed brake drum on my trailer and it failed 2 days later.. Owner Chris ignores email and does not answer phone unless you leave a message. He only returns calls that will add to his bottom line. I do not want a refund. I just want him to know that it is bad for business and the motoring public to send out unqualified mechanics to work on air brakes of 18 wheelers.

Traveling to North Dakota from East Texas, 17hr into the drive my radiator blew. I cannot express what a true blessing it was to have these fine folks recommended by strangers to us. I have my wife and 5 yr old son with me. Once we figured out his car seat wasn't going in the wrecker, he said no worries hang on.. shortly after his wife and daughter pulled up in her SUV and loaded up my family and brought us to their shop where we met him with my truck, they allowed us to get our things from the truck and brought us to a hotel walking distance from the shop, she called ahead to the hotel to let them know she was bringing customers and made sure we received a discounted rate.. brought us to the door and helped unload our things.. needless to say my 5 yr old was wound up after a 20 hr day..she offered to bring him to see her horses and goats while the truck is being fixed..if I could have paid for the absolute best folks to run into in this situation I wouldn't have been so fortunate..God puts people in our lives for a reason..this was such an occasion.. terrible situation far from home and my family is resting now with the feeling of being well taken care of.. God bless you guys..

On my way back to Louisiana my wheel bearings had gone out when I was coming in to Vernon. Mr.White treated me like family even showed me around his little town and his diesel tech did a tremendous job replacing both wheel hubs in a reasonable time! I meet nothing but amazing people in my time spent in North Texas and I know next time I pass through I ll make a pit stop in Vernon

Chris and crew were awesome! We had an emergency breakdown on US70 and brought our pickup to them. They jumped on it very quickly, diagnosed the issue, and got us out before the end of the day! We really appreciated their expertise and assistance!

The owner, Chris White, gave my family and I excellent care during an unfortunate situation where our vehicle was stranded about 400 miles from home during the night. The towing service recommended we take our truck to Chris. And right from the start he kept us updated, checked on us, picked us up from the hotel, let us borrow his personal vehicle so our family could get something to eat, and let us sit in his lobby while our truck was serviced. He had reasonable pricing and genuinely took care of us during an unexpected situation! Thank you Chris!

Aug 2018Chris White and his folks at the shop, can't say enough about how pleased I am with their work. Took my ole pickup to Whites Auto he got me fix up good as new. And the cost of the repair not as much as I had planned for. Darn good service, very personable and easy to talk with.Thanks for such a outstanding job, we need more service people in this town like these guys.Oct.2018With My dad gassing up the RV and would not start i had no tools and no idea what's going on. Called Whites on a sat. and he was there about 20 minutes. Chris White got the RV going and on the road again, even suggested an repair and told me i could do it at home saving my dad money, unrelated to the current problem. Such service and honesty hard to find. Thanks for an outstanding job and prompt service.

We were having trouble with our diesel RV while in route to Dallas. We pulled over in Vernon and called White s (after hours). Chris could not have been nicer, recommended an RV park for us to stay in and we met him next morning. Both Carey and Chris were very nice and great communicators. Chris helped us identify problem and resolve etc. All very honest and straightforward and fairly priced. Thank you Chris! You re example of professionalism will help us as we conduct our business as well.

I was driving my daughter back from college in Texas last night, stopped at a gas station in Vernon to refill and to my surprise, I could not start the vehicle after I was done pumping gas. I was stranded and 8 hours away from home. It was after 6PM on a Friday night. I figured I would be stuck there for the weekend. I called Chris and he helped get me in touch with a towing service (Goodrum wrecker).They promptly towed my vehicle to White's shop where Chris diagnosed a bad connection to the battery, cleaned the connections, tightened them properly, tested the voltage to the battery. His partner Cary even checked the air in all 4 tires and added air as needed.These guys have an old school full service mentality; they're pleasant, welcoming and I really appreciated them. When he finished with my vehicle, he said "you're good to go", but didn't present me with a bill which puzzled me. I asked him how I could pay him for his time and he replied with "Merry Christmas". I HIGHLY recommend White's Auto and Diesel Services.

Chris and James were awesome, we weren't sure why it seemed like our car was overheating so we got a hotel in Vernon, at 4am my friend saw he was 24 hours and gave him a call. Obviously he was asleep but answered anyway he asked what was going on and she explained that she wanted to make sure the car was doing okay because it didn't seem to be overheating at that moment but it had been earlier, he told us he would be happy to do a check on it.So we met at 9am and Chris checked it out and then took it for a nice long drive to make sure it was all good. We concluded it was a sticky thermostat and that we would be okay to keep going on to our destination.He did more than anyone else was willing to do and he helped us figure out what the problem really was instead of just guessing and replacing parts that didn't need to be replaced. Thanks guys! You're the best!

We were traveling from Wyoming to Fort Worth, TX to visit with family. Started having engine problems with our diesel motor home as we came onto Hwy 287 on a Sunday afternoon. We found Chris info on Google and read the awesome reviews. They are all true. Chris White and his crew are all a pleasure to work with. They went above and beyond to get us squared away and back on the road. We highly recommend White s Auto and Diesel Services for all your needs. As a matter of fact we will probably stop by on the way out of Texas to have him install a diesel tuner.

These guys did great! I blew a trailer tire and they got there quick. They had me on the road in under 2 hours from the time my tire blew and still made it in time for my delivery! Will most definitely call them again if I have any problems around Vernon.

So we got a flat. Usually not a biggie but we had no jack and no tire tool. Called and was told that they would send someone to my house to change it for me. When he got here we realize that the spare was not going to work. So he took the flat tire off and took it into town, aired it up and put it back on. Thank the lord for these guys. Don't know anyone here that I can call for help (just moved here). Thank you guys for all that yall did to get us back going.

Had a fan clutch go out on Sunday evening. Chris and his crew worked into the night to get it off and ordered part the next morning. On and out the door the Day. Great guys and great work!!!

OUTSTANDING! John came to us at the campground we were staying in to check out our camper. Then we followed him back to the shop, within a mile. He diagnosed and repaired the problem and we couldn't believe how quick and affordable he was! I highly recommend this guy!!

This company is AWESOME!!! We were stranded on the side of the road, my mother and I plus a horse and dog, when AAA called a wrecker, he showed up, said he couldn't haul both truck and trailer-we said we could split up n haul the truck w 1 of us females in it, 1 w the horse and horse trailer-long story short, he left us on the side of the road!!! Never came back like he said he would. Goodrums Wrecker picked us up w/in 20 minutes of our call, towed both truck and trailer and delivered us to Whites Auto and Diesel!! Brian White fixed our alternator in 45 mins, and even let us park the horse trailer-taking up a good bit of the parking lot-and even offered us to unload!!! The guys here are amazing, we had a blast hanging out and talking w them, plus THE SERVICE WAS UNBEATABLE!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY AND ALL OF YOUR AUTO AND DIESEL NEEDS!!!!!!!!!! I hope we don't break down again, but if we did, and we are ANYWHERE near Vernon, TX, we will absolutely use this company again!!! Thank you Brian White and Whites Auto and Diesel!!! God bless you all for helping us and getting our horse transport business back on the road again!!!!! ABSOLUTELY, 155%, W/OUT A DOUBT WOULD BE HAPPY AND PLEASED TO USE THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

We had problems with our diesel motorhome on a Sunday afternoon. A phone call with White's allowed us to determine that we could move our vehicle off the freeway and to their shop.Monday White's got us on the road by mid-day, despite limited parts availability in the area. Fair price, quality work, helpful attitude. You can't ask for more when you break down on a road trip.

Our diesel truck broke down at the gas station and this business was quick to send someone out to diagnose the problem. They worked us in that day even though they were busy with a big car show in town. Amazing service, got us back on the road fast!

Called for assistance early on Sunday morning, Chris was willing to come out and help. Was raining, he came assessed the problem and had the parts retrieved and the problem fixed in no time. I highly recommend Chris and his guy's should you be in need of roadside assistance.

Highly recommend these guys! They are golden! Very trustworthy...they took great care of us when my truck broke down when our family was headed to Colorado for our vacation. If I lived in Vernon, I d be a returning customer for sure!

I could go on and on about why i reccomend White's Auto and Diesel Services. First of all, they are honest, and WILL NOT try to overcharge you or "fix " something that isnt broken. They know their way around under the hood of a car or truck. Most importantly, Chris has a heart of gold and worked with me so I could still make it home after paying my bill. I was inspired by the man, his place if business, and his work ethic. I STRONGLY suggest this place of busines!

We were stranded on the side of the road on a Saturday on our way to the mountains, hauling a fifth wheel. This young man came to us, repaired our truck, had us back on the road within an hour and a half, from first contact.Amazing, honest customer service. Love small town America.

my truck broke down going to amirrillo tx. these people were very kind honest and understanding. my truck motor blew and the owner chris was very upfront with me and even let me hang out and cool off till my ride from dallas could get there. i highly recommend doing bussiness with good americans like these people.

I have never had a better experience in my life. Everyone here has a big heart and the spirit of helping others when they need it the most. I for one wouldn t be able to get home without each and everyone of their help. When ever I am in Vernon and need auto repair I will always come here. Bc they know is what auto repair is about. And their work shows it.
