Great wrecker service. Hometown people, been here forever. They will work with you and probably beat any of the newer wrecker services around in price. Good people. 5 stars.

Most mean and disrespectful old couple I ve ever met!!! Dealt with them three times and were completely rude every time. I really don t understand how they have a four star rating. They were even mad at me today for simply dropping off a title to a vehicle.. they are both rude as hell but the wife/lady is 5X worse than him. I even said sorry for pissing them off even though I did nothing. I hate Mt. Vernon as a whole with a passion

Mr. Crowston picked up my truck at my hotel. He advised he was too busy to repair my truck he then took me to Gandy Auto, he too was too busy. Mr Crowston took me to his shop replaced my battery and truck runs fine now. Great customer service and great wrecker and auto repair service.Traveling from South Texas to West Virginia

Mr.Crowston (Dale) was the tow truck recommendation from the police officer on the scene when my boyfriend and I flipped our vehicle off the interstate. He was a very nice at the scene, however the next TWO business days we could not get a hold of him after calling multiple times. The repair shop was open and waiting on our vehicle, when we finally got a hold of Dale he said the weather was too bad for him to get out. My boyfriend finally had to call the sheriffs office and see if they could help us get our vehicle to the repair shop, because we had been stranded for 3 days and were walking everywhere we needed in the 6 degree weather. Finally Dale agreed to take our truck to the repair shop. When it was all done, his towing services cost almost as much as the repairs to our nearly totaled truck RIDICULOUS! However, if you are in town and need any repairs check out Mt. Vernon tire - the guys there are absolutely amazing and treated us like family.

Not only were they quick on the draw when it came to getting me towed, but Garrett and Dale diagnosed and replaced the alternator and belt all before lunch time! Incredibly nice and professional guys with honest and fair business. My new go-to mechanic and tow service in the Mount Vernon, TX area!

This company is a ripoff! They charged me $400 to tow my vehicle then lied about its location to the insurance company so I can't get the claim result of a refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

Got stuck in a ditch on a single-wide road yesterday - slid off into mushy earth trying to avoid a collision. These guys were on call for the area and showed up quickly. The process to get my SUV out was lengthy BUT had no damage when they were done. I appreciate the thoroughness and professionalism demonstrated yesterday. My situation could have been much worse.I thought for sure the fee would be quite large - but it was very reasonable! The crew was friendly and calm. Thanks, y'all!

Had an oil cooler hose develop a leak and had to exit the Interstate immediately. Gingerly got the van to O Reilly Auto Parts where I tried adding oil no go. They recommended Crowstons. He Worked hard to get the part, recommended a hotel, and find a rental. He didn t charge for the tow ( a mile) or his wife taking us to the rental car ( 40+ minutes of her time). When we got back to TX for the van his repair charge was very reasonable and he had his folks wash the leaked oil off the back. Good people, who took care of me and my family at a tough moment.

After being told I would have to wait for 60-75 minutes, Jeremy pulls up within 15 minutes and was very professional and helpful in helping me get to the best and nearest tire shop to get my tires replaced. Highly recommend!!

Our car's a/c compressor blew out on the highway coming from VA Beach. Our insurance had a hard time locating us. When I say God sent these people our way, it was right on time! A sweet local guy (with a red truck hauling landscaping machines) spotted us on the highway and referred us to Crowston Wrecker Service. He then gave Crowston our exact location. They worked with us, extremely sweet people! The tow guy was extremely respectful and nice! I don't normally leave reviews but this review is worth every positive sentence! I pray God blesses them ALL with whatever their heart desires! Mt. VERNON, Your blessed to have CROWSTON'S WRECKING SERVICE IN YOUR AREA!

I got stranded on the highway so I called Crowston to come and help me with a flat tire. I only had credit cards and he did not want to charge me he instead said just help someone else in return . I will never forget your good deed I truly appreciate it!

I liked Crowstons because they stand behind their work. Friend of mine had his truck fixed. Picked it up and the problem still existed. Took it right back and he put it straight in the bay and picked it next day at no charge

I have to say I was scared I was going to lose my truck over something that wasn't my fault, but my prayers were answered with mercy and grace. The Lord put these people in my path instead of someone else that could have charge me several more days of storage but she didn't which helped me gather the money. Thank you and God bless you.
