This place will sell you a car with no problem, but don't expect any kind of repair service here. Take it somewhere else. If you show up with an issue, the first thing they ask is "do you have an appointment?". If you don't, then they say "well we can't get to it for at least a month." Umm, how is that even a thing? I didn't plan for my car to have a problem. I tried to get an issue resolved here a couple months ago (with an appointment) and my car sat all day with no one looking at it. Wasn't even communicated to me until I showed up to pick the car up. Even after talking with the "Service Manager", I still couldn't get the issue fixed. Had to go to another Hyundai dealer an hour and a half away.Oh, and don't even try to go online to make an appointment because the service website is absolute garbage. As of today, you can't even "make an appointment" online for 2 months. And it's only at 10:15am? Why has Hyundai not shut this place down yet? They spent all this money renovating this dealership but clearly don't have the time, capacity or employees to do repair service.I have bought two vehicles here and my second will be the last from this place because the service department is so awful.

Our experience with Courtney was amazing. She took the time to listen to our needs and help us find the perfect car. When we test drove we did not feel rushed and she took time to show us all the details about the car and tell us all about the Hyundai safety features and warranties. She patiently answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and tube Hyundai brand. Would highly recommend to others and would purchase here again.

I usually don t do this, but servicing here is a nightmare. I brought my vehicle in to a scheduled appointment To have my oil changed, and my oil pan gasket fixed because I was told at my last oil change that there was a leak. I was told that the appointment time does not guarantee that my car will be looked at even though I scheduled the appointment around two or three weeks in advance to guarantee that my vehicle would be fixed whenever I brought it in.My vehicle was looked at for around an hour, but the biggest issue is I called to see whether my vehicle had been fixed or looked at and never got a call back. I also received a call either the next day or the day after where they asked how I felt about my service and I let them know this situation, and I still have received nothing from the servicing department.

Better service than BMW or Mercedes Benz. From the sales rep to the finance department - it was stressless. I didn t have to have a new vehicle, nor did I have to have a Hyundai. I was looking at multiple vehicles/brands. Not only do I love my new vehicle, but the dealership made it easy. Everyone respected my needs/wants, and most importantly my time and money.

Don t take your car to Tyler Patterson Hyundai. You won t see it for weeks and no one will answer our calls. If you are lucky enough to have someone actually answer the phone, we ve been told repeatedly that no one knows the status of our car! It s been there 2 1/2 weeks! No one will return our calls to give us the status of our car. This place is the MOST HORRIBLE car repair place!! They have the worst customer service and the service technicians supposedly fixed our car but I wasn t 2 miles away from the dealership, after picking it up and the engine light came back on!! We took it to O Reilly s to get a diagnostic check and it was the same exact code that we just paid 1300.00 to NOT have it repaired. What makes it even worse is Patterson denies everything! They won t do anything to rectify the problem. We have been lied to and our money was stolen for work they didn t actually do. Now we haven t seen our car in 2 1/2 weeks! This place should be shut down by the Better Business Bureau.

My wife waited for over 2 years to upgrade to a newer car. We found what we thought would be a great pre-owned certified 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe from Patterson. It s been nothing but nightmares with it and the problems where 20% factory related and 80% service related. I m not blaming the people in the service office because they have to have a tuff job catching all the grief from what there shop is doing to them. Our car has been in the shop 6 times in less than a year. All of those times where because their so called mechanics forgot 12 bolts in our under skirt which folder under the car while out of town. Then they didn t tighten the drain plug on an oil change. The next time they had to replace the thermostat and then just neglected to put coolant back in it and put my wife on the side of the road with an overheated car. Just because you take your picture next to a ASE CERTIFIED MECHANIC POSTER does not make you a mechanic so why don t you vet them guys in your shop and at least teach them righty tighty lefty loosey and when you take something off a car or out of a car you have to put it back. The only reason we even go up there is because it s certified and we have to to keep the warranty current. I feel like I m over a barrel with this place and just want them to try and take some pride in there work and do the job that you are hired to do.

We called for an oil change while traveling. They told us just stop by! We could not believe it. We stopped by Joanna got us checked in. Before we knew it, everything was done. No up charges, no you need this or that! Everyone was friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend this dealership! This is the third Hyundai dealership we have visited in the last year and this experience was great!

Just bought a 2023 Palisade from AJ at Patterson. Look him up, he made the experience easy. I shopped the DFW Dealers, but chose Patterson in Tyler for the "home town" service and personal attention.

I want to give a big THANK YOU to Matt Mabery at Patterson! It was pouring rain when we arrived and met me at my car with an umbrella and helped me, my daughter, and mother into the dealership. He knew exactly what I needed in a vehicle and got me into a car that matches my personality and I absolutely love it. Matt and Patterson will forever have my business.

This review is hard. On the one hand, I loved the process of buying a car from this dealership. We got a great deal on a great car. If this had been it, it d be a 5 star experience.The service department, however, has been frustrating. Multiple times, we ve brought our vehicle in for basic service and there s been new issues upon leaving. We got an oil change and filter change, and our speakers had new issues when we picked the car. Thankfully, the speakers were under warranty, but the service department lied and said it was an issue with the settings (it wasn t) and it s taken MONTHS to resolve. It still isn t resolved. We said both speakers were having issues, and they falsified records to say we only mentioned the left speaker. Then, after fixing the left speaker (half the issue), a tire had new, aggressive leak.These things could be coincidences/misunderstandings, but it s getting progressively harder to give them the benefit of the doubt. At the very least, it shouldn t take this many phone calls and months of nagging to have an issue that s under warranty fixed. But I m starting to think it is all intentional.Edit: fixed typo

Good experience overall with one ding. The staff were professional and got the job done. The waiting area is a VAST improvement over last year - work desk area with WiFi and snacks. My only ding is they still have that cheap move with the credit card surcharge.

Our sales associate Isai Miranda was very knowledgeable, polite, upfront and took his time explaining all the features on Kona N-line 2022. After the sales went through he came and explain all the safety features, setup our phones for connectivity with car and explain proper operating procedures and setup. Thanks you Isai.

Only thing worse than Hyundai car/engine is customer service. Engine rods came loose, warranty was approved, but they are doing anything and everything to not reimburse us. Every excuse under the sun AFTER the warranty was approved. Stay away from these profesional con artists. Thank God we have another car that s not a Hyundai.

Great first car buying experience! Agreed on everything over the phone, no surprises when I arrived. Matthew was very attentive and provided thorough answers to my questions. Spent only 5 minutes in financing with Doug. He wasn't pushy on adding anything extra and was transparent with the forms I signed. Matt explained all the features of the car including Bluelink, the software that came with it. Thank you!

I took our Palisade in for service and for some recall issues to be addressed. Baron s customer service was great, he helped us as soon as he was available and seemed happy to help us. I was not pleased with the loaner vehicle. We are a family of 6 and we were given a 5 seat compact car. The timeliness of the repair was not the best. Baron kept us updated on the repair and that was great. Apparently, he had to physically take the part to the mechanics and make sure it was done on day 8. Maybe our vehicle got lost in the shuffle, I m not sure.****Baron in service- 5 stars.Loaner vehicle- 2 starsTimeliness of repair- 1 star

Around 1 October 2023 I took my 2022 Hyundai Tucson in to have the fuel door looked at it was having trouble opening. They said they could fix it but all they did was replace the fuel cap and said it was fixed which it was not and they said they would have to order a part and here it is 16 October and I m still waiting to hear

I am disabled 55 years old. My Hyundai car has been at the Hyundai service department for 5 weeks. I have missed multiple doctor's appointments. All I'm trying to do is have my car diagnostics done on it to find out what happened to it. Why it stopped running? My car keeps getting put off. Nobody will tell me why I have missed my medication cuz I have no way to pick it up. I have Becky's people for answers and they just say they don't know. Can anybody out there help me? All I can get is 914 a month on disability. I can't even go rent a car. I am getting very worried about my health. I've tried talking to the supervisor at the service department people over the Hyundai department. Everybody says I don't know and I have also learned my car is not the only one. I do not have the money to pay $300 to have my car told the loan you to the Hyundai dealership just to have a diagnostics done on it to see if my car falls on it. Any kind of warrant somebody out there? Please help

I called the day before I visited the dealership and made an appointment to see a particular vehicle. As soon as I walked in the door everyone took care of me. They knew what car I came to see. Had bottled water waiting for me. The entire process was smooth from beginning to end. Usually, I m and intimidated with all of the paperwork and the financing . The Finance guy, Jeff McMichael, was patient, kind and diligent. I had contacted my Credit Union before I went there and he was able to get me a lower interest rate with affordable payments. He s AMAZING!I'd recommend Patterson Hyundai to everybody!

Mr. A.J. Jackson is a great sales consultant. He made my experience there nice . Actually, all the staff that I encountered was professional and friendly. Mr. Jackson was very knowledgeable of the vehicle and walked us through everything there was to know . He took us to the service department and introduced us to the team . He was very thorough and patient. Not once did I feel rushed. On previous purchases I have felt overlooked ....(I was purchasing but they looked pass me and talked to my husband) Mr. Jackson never did that . He always made me the priority...talked directly to me . Thank You Mr. Jackson. I hope Patterson keeps him on the team for years to come !Now , the financial department seemed a little disturbed when I didn't want all of the added warranties.I also was a little displeased when I couldn't negotiate the price with the manager. He wasn't budging. In the end though , I know it was my choice to stay or walk away . Over all though , my experience was great and I would recommend Patterson Hyundai of Tyler .

Patterson Tyler Hyundai service department personnel were extremely helpful, courteous, and professional when I recently had to have my vehicle towed there for a major repair! Everyone in the service department that I spoke to answered my questions, explained in detail the work that was being done, and kept me informed about the progress of the repair. And I got my car back sooner than I expected. Thank you Patterson Tyler Hyundai service department; I couldn t be happier!

I scheduled an appointment for 8am for a Hyundai service of an oil change. Upon arrival I put myself in the Hyundai service lane with one car in front of me. Next to it was the express oil change lane with four or five cars already in that line. After the nice gentleman who took my info. I asked him how long the wait would be when I was informed the people in the other lane took presence regardless of my prescheduled appointment time. So that meant at least five cars would be in front of me even though I had the earliest appointment time for the day. This should be disclosed when making the appointment otherwise what s the appointment time for if not time management.
