A truly excellent service experience at I-20 Diesel Repair. We arrived at their shop with an almost dead diesel pusher motorhome. Problem was complex but quickly diagnosed - they started to work immediately and solved the issue in good time. Everyone was truly committed to getting us back on the road.Very pleasant and helpful staff and super competent mechanics. A pleasure to deal with Jack and his team - heartily recommend to all diesel motorhomers.

Came in for a leaking fuel. Giving only 2 stars because the mechanics were helpful in lending me a 3/4 wrench to remove the fuel line, a mirror to see in back of the engines head, made a new line for me and help me install a few couple simple bolts in which i did not ask for.The owner told me himself that he usually doesnt let others do the work themselves on his property but am a owner operator with previous mechanic experience, i do pretty much everything on my truck and just trying to save a couple bucks. If you dont like others doing the work on your land then you need to advise your mechanics to say so before any action is taken.The owner still charged me 130$ for 1 hr of labor even though i did all the hard work by removing / reinstalling the fuel line but anyways thanks for not helping a trucker in these hard times with exploding prices everywhere and basically all otr truckers being screwed left and right with low rates / high fuel prices. The 41$ for the fuel line repair is reasonable but not the hr of labor.

This is the worst place to take your truck to. I called Jack on phone and told him exactly what's going on . My ac works when idling but on the road it starts blowing hot. Jack told me on the phone that it seems that is a thermostat Problem. When I brought the truck all he did was vaccum and added cans of Freon. I was complaining that adding Freon is not the problem, it will get cold as we are seating but once I'm on the road it starts blowing hot. Story short. Another thing he is ora was to tighten up the wire on the starter solenoid. He charge me $634 dollar's. This is unbelievable. Do not take your truck to this junkie place. He will rip you off. That's why he has no customers. I saw the previous reviews and I ignore it but is true. Now my AC is still not working after driving on the road.Service: Air conditioning

Jack is a great guy. Super easy to get along with and a pleasure to do business with. I've learned over the years that decent honest people sometimes get a hard knock review every now and then. Happens in my business too but that normally means you need to consider the source. We appreciate your business Jack. Thank you.

I took my tuck here and they replaced my radiator along with some other work. Almost $8,000 later my truck breaks down again. They did not tighten up the radiator hoses. So now I have an additional $3200 bill to pay because they are incompetent. I had to replace the burnt up water pump, have the oil changed because it got so hot, replace the cooler hose front and rear plus pay for the truck to get towed from the side of the road.I would recommend them if you enjoy paying too much and don't want anything done correctly.

The place doesnt look all that fancy, but Jack, the owner, is a good guy. Went out of his way to get hard to find parts for me. Mechanics mack and lane are awesome guys. Did good work and even stayed extra 3 hours thursday night to get my truck done.

Our Freightliner stopped running on I -20 between Sweetwater and Abilene, Tx. 3 months ago, towing a trailer load of baby calves. I-20 sent a mechanic who was unable to get their computer to detect the problem so the owner, Mr. Jack, came to our location and immediately diagnosed the problem. Even tho he was unable to make the repairs he did diagnose it and our truck was towed to Freightliner, where repairs were made. Mr. Jack stayed with us for several hours while we were waiting for another truck to take the trailer and the wrecker for our truck. He also coordinated our repairs with Freightliner in Abilene as well as made towing arrangements and motel recommendations. My husband and I can't say enough good things about this company and Mr. Jack. It is a very lonely position to be in when you are broken down on the side of the interstate. Mr. Jack kept our spirits up and made us feel like family.

Horrible experience, Very dishonest businessdo not call these people you re better off just walking then letting them fix your vehicle.They quote flat $100 hour then when the bill is done at on $150 lap top fees that were never mentioned! Then when you ask about it they say they will pull parts off your truck and then proceed to hold it hostage until you pay the bill.Basically get ready for $250 an hour and horrible customer service.

3 axle alignment was excellent.Friendly folks , Knowledgeable Technician.They did the job right at a fair price.

Called to schedule a service call. Very Rude to deal with on the phone. He told me he was to busy to help me and hung up. Rudest person I have ever come across in the trucking business. Take your business elsewhere!

Called we broke down and nobone would help us finally we fixed it ourselves thankfully after two half hours on road we figured out it was just a plug thankfully made it home in so glad we did we sat and six business out there refused to help us one offered but not for an hour I was told by most they don't even touch ford trucks
