Emailed these guys and they were out within an hour... brought a skid steer to pull out our 2500 that was sitting in clay up to the axles. 15 min and boom, truck was out and they were gone. Haha 100% recommend

Had a badluck with our trailer behind our motorhome, towing came within 15 minutes from the call, then they helped us get back on the road in a day, we re extremely grateful for their service, thanks again for the amazing team

I had an unexpected blowout on my tire. I had use them before and loved how we were respected and gave us quality service and tires for our last car. With this emergency of not having a spar or know what to do, they did not disappoint in helping me in any way they can. My husband and I already know who we will be turning to for our next set of tires and serviced.

I am up in age and unable to get around well. I had a flat, no spare or jack on these new vehicles. Called this tow company, and the lady was on her way in 45 minutes. We went to one place down the street from me, and the wait was 2 to 3 hours. We were tired, and it was after 4. So I called another place and asked if I could come before they closed in 15 minutes. And the tow lady took me there and dropped me after confirming they would take care of me. In less than 15 minutes, we were back on the road. She was so patient with me, and I had two kids with me. Thanks all.

I have had to use their services many times, they go above and beyond in customer service. I would recommend them to anyone for all services towing and vehicle maintenance and repair. They have gone out of their way many times to accommodate and help me when I've had vehicle issues. I have used them for several years and have no intention of using anyone else. You can tell how much they care about their customers!

My vehicle was totaled a while back. And American towing responded fast and they were very professional. I had some property left in the vehicle. I completely forgot about it. I was never contacted. lol I was driving down the road today and my phone alerted me that my AirPods where nearby. So just out of curiosity I turned around and saw an American towing vehicle. I got out and asked the driver if he so happened to find my AirPods in my vehicle and if he had them in the truck. He handed me his phone and asked me to put my phone number in it and he would let me know if he finds them in the truck. He looked defeated at this point. I laughed and said it s no big deal and left. Maybe I ll be reunited with my AirPods but hopes are not high lol.

American towing and tire helped us out when GEICO couldn t. They were prompt and courteous.They were able to assist with towing our vehicle and finding someone to tow our RV, when GEICO s service failed to do so, and asked us to wait until the next day for towing help. Thank y all for the peace of mind at the most scary of times, y all were prompt and right on it as soon as you got here! Our 5th wheel definitely took a beating on I30 and we couldn t have kept on our journey without it y all. Seriously, May God bless y all always! William and Jessica

Wish I had checked the reviews before booking them. So many people had identical experiences. I could have just cut and pasted their reviews to explain what happened to me. If I had bothered to read the other people's reviews, I would have known how nasty and rude they are. I am shocked at the level of unprofessionalism. They damaged my car and then drove off without a word like it was a hit and run. They are the worst of the worst. I almost never leave negative reviews. l like to leave only positive ones. I know that things don't always work out and I can accept that, even if I don't want to business with a company doesn't mean they aren't right for someone else. That is not the case with these idiots. Run, don't walk, away from these people.

Is zero stars a possibility?? I wish it was. They showed up 90 minutes LATE. I booked them the night before for an 8 AM tow. The driver texted me and said she was 20 minutes away. Then she texted again and said she was at her kids school. Huh??? When she finally arrived 90 minutes later, she didn't put my car in neutral or release the shift linkage. SHE LITERALLY DRAGGED MY CAR ALONG MY DRIVEWAY. I was, thankfully, recording. I yelled to her to stop. I told her she had to release the shifter. She said she didn't know how. When I called her dispatch, they said I was accusing their driver of not knowing how to do her job. WELL, DUH! Then the dispatcher hung up on me and texted the driver the leave. The little weasel got in her truck and drove away without a word to me. Made me late for my dealership appointment and late for work. NOTE: They will write a response denying all of this. But I have it on video if anyone wants to see it.

The driver s name was Brent. They were quick to arrive. A lot quicker than my pick up ride. He was so generous to stay and wait for me. I m guessing he wasn t even getting paid for waiting with me as long as he did. I told him multiple times he could leave, he insisted on staying with me. And the wait time told much longer than I anticipated. He was such a gentleman. Great service from American Towing & Tire Co. Thank you guys!Service: Special vehicle towing

Update after their 'response': you ignored the fact that I brought it to fix the actual pipe leak that was causing overheating. You said it had more things to fix and I authorized. But you did NOT fix the pipe leak at all and the car did not even start when I went to pick it up. Also, you forgot to say that the 'dead battery' was swaped by your company (for a new one) beginning of the past year. And that your company had done a major 'revision' (almost 4k usd of work) at that time (so the 23 years old part is just adding to your incompetence). Also, you forgot to say that you claimed to have 'tested' the car but besides not even starting it overheat after a 1 mile drive. The 75 usd of coolant you charged me was not there, given that the water reservoirer was clearly leaking. I tried adding a bit to drive back from that gas station and it immediately dripped (as I was adding it). The exact same leak I brought to be fixed was still there. No way someone who filled that reservoir would miss it. Maybe your team lied to you and you believed the lies and repeated them to me, but they are lies nonetheless. You also forgot to mention that I did not refuse at all to pay for additional services (nor accused you til you actually made up those lies): I had just stated thst I was unhappy with arriving there after 2h drive and have all the same problems in the car. You started creating excuses instead of just apologizing (as you continue doing - btw you forgot to say that you said I have no mechanical knowledge, not the other way around - this time you indeed are lying intentionally since the discussion in written was with you). And unfortunately the excuses were blatantly wrong, as stated above and just required a minimal of checks to see they cant be sustained (I do have many witnesses, the insurance claim for the pickup, the service reports from your company, plus the basic fact that the car did not even start and was still overheating when I went to pick it up which should be clue enough for any serious company).Old post:I had my car towed due to a water leak leading to heating. After charging me they finally told me the car was ready. I arrived there, the car did not even turn on. After jump starting it and driving 1 mile to a gas station (the gas was at reserve), I got heating messages, low coolant, etc warnings. Looking at the floor, it was dripping. 4L coolant in a 1mile drive and they did not notice? They charged me again, when I asked clarification, they claimed the car battery was already dead when they towed (a lie, since I was driving to them and parked on the road due to the heating) and that it was never a leak before and they tested (another lie, the leak was even stated in the insurance form). All that knowing they made me drive 2h to pick the car that wasnt ready. And finally to add offense to injury they claim they wont service the car because I called them on the lies. Terrible. Run from it (ah, they also said I know nothing of mechanics otherwise I would have fixed the problem myself, which shows a lack of basic logic: some people prefer to pay others to do things they dont like?)

Got stranded 88 miles from home and had to use these guys.Dustin was great. Arrived promptly after receiving the request(although it took Progressive roadside three hours to get it to them at no fault to American Towing and Tire). Even allowed me to catch a ride with them so my wife didn t have to drive 1.5 hours to come and get me. I highly recommend using this company.

Broke down in Mt. Vernon while driving across the country and towing a 30 foot trailer, the dispatcher made sure the appropriate tow rig was sent out to grab my truck and trailer. The driver B.B. was nothing less than extraordinary and efficient, he was very communicative form the time he was dispatched to after he towed us to Mt. Pleasant to the dealership.I will be recommending American Towing & Tire to anyone in need of roadside services or towing. These guys are fair, efficient and to the point of getting you taken care of.Thank you for the excellent service.

These guys came to my rescue when my van broke down four hours away from home and on a Saturday. Unfortunately, they couldn't look at the van until Monday, but Dustin- our tow driver - took us to a nearby hotel of my choosing.They checked the van first thing Monday even though they were backed up, just so we could get on the road sooner.My only issues with them were that the mechanic didn't call me before doing the repairs (replacing alternator) nor did they tell me that there would be a 4% debit/credit card fee. (In their defense there is a sign somewhere on the counter and the fee is from their cc billing company). So if you need them for a tow, don't hesitate to call them. Just bring cash or a check.

These guys are wonderful! Super helpful and found us a spare rim and tire for our travel trailer after we had a blowout. They did this after hours and setup a service call for the replacement in less than 30 min. Amazing service! They are expensive, but the peace of mind was worth it!

Had a blow out on the trailer right before their exit, drove straight onto the property. We called and they were there within 10 minutes on a late Saturday afternoon. Great guys, fast, really nice, good work

I got to meet to the owner of this business as well as his son. They are very disrespectful. My wife and I waited 1 hour before anyone showed up. (We were only 7-10 mins away from the company building)Then we were refused service, and cursed at not to mention his Son tried to run me over in his Truck.
