These guys were super easy to deal with and they did an excellent job the turnaround time was about a week on my 6.7 cummins head that was tweaked a bit from my lead foot

I have head great things about Rick and the staff for over 25 years. This is the first time I've used their services. Excellent customer service. Parks should be your first stop (and only stop) for engine work.

First time I went to Parks was in 2005. I still go there now and its 2023. I have had work done on my 460 block this year and my heads too. If a problem comes up Rick goes out of his way and gets it fixed. I ordered a specific set of pistons from Summit but they were not going to ship for 6 weeks. I told Rick my bad news and he was able to get the pistons for me in a week. Same thing with my valve spring locators for my DOVE-C heads and my special coated cam bearings. I will keep making the 38 mile drive to get my engine work done at Parks. I will add photos whenever I get my 460 back together.Service: Motor building

Great work, owner Rick knows his stuff, and gave me several tips on my engine build and helped me perfect it a little better. If you want engine work done right, go here. 4 stars ONLY bc initially was given about a 2 month work period when I took my engine beginning of 10/20.. ended up being 3-15-21 before I got it back due to them being swamped with jobs. Other than being late, absolutely love the work and help! Won't be going anywhere else in the future.(Wrench in the water jacket is MINE placed there by me, NOT park's engine service)

I called to get a quote to have two of my work vehicle engines rebuilt. The staff is knowledgeable and efficient. The first engine is a eco-boost 3.5 L Ford engine and they told me that it s not an engine that they specialize in rebuilding and they told me honestly the second engine is a Ford F150 5.0 engine and they gave me a quote of $3000 all the way up to $5000 depending on what it s going to need. So when I get some time I will be bringing them my 5.0 engine to rebuild I will make another review or an edit at that time

I have used them several times and the work has always been great. I would like to mention the 1 star review left by Mr. Rodriguez. I own an auto repair facility and we stay very busy just like Parks Machine. When we have customers walking in, phones ringing and paying customers jobs to get out it makes it difficult to do phone quotes. Then you factor in the time it takes to do a quote and it can get lost in the shuffle. That in itself should not warrant a 1 star review. Mr. Rodriguez obviously does not own a business where reviews are critical or he would not have left it.I check and respond to all my reviews daily. I happen to run across his review when I was looking up Parks machine phone number. Parks machine has no idea about this review.If you want a phone quote, try calling other reputable machine shops and getting quotes and just for safety sake add a couple of hundred to those quotes and then you will be prepared. Most shops will be pretty close in prices if they are reputable shops.Have a great day !Service: Engine repair

10/10, would recommend. Took an obscure Opel motor to Parks Engine Service, not only did they do exactly as I asked, they kept me updated as to the motor s progress when I asked and adapted when I requested changes to the original plan. When a work situation required me to move, they made sure my motor was done in time. Highly knowledgeable, highly experienced, never doubted for a second that my motor would be completed at anything less than the highest quality.Services: Engine repair, Motor building

Just got my duramax heads resurfaced by them. They were up-front about how long it would take but they managed to get my heads done exactly when they said they would be done. No BS. The price was dead-on their initial estimate, and they seemed very knowledgeable during our brief conversation when I went to pick them up. I ve been coming to these guys for years. The last build I did was a 355 with a hot cam vortex motor and it went together so smooth it made me question my ability to even build engines. Great service and skills. Very detail oriented. If quality vs time is worth it to you then I highly recommend parks engine service!Service: Motor buildingService: Motor building

Brought the rotating assembly for my Coyote to them for a balance. Recieved it back in a week. Everything went as expected. Excellent service and craftsmanship. These guys know their stuff and don't mess around. My first time going to them for engine work, definitely not my last!

Parks Machine shop, is one the top machine shops I have ever used. I have been using this Machine shop for at least 40+ years. I have not heard of or have ever had any problems with any of the work they have performed, for my business and other companies I have worked at. Great job.

Been down there several times to get my Pontiac machine work done and have always been very very happy! In Austin no machine shop will touch my Pontiac stuff because "It's Pontiac" from the moment you walk in the shop and see the huge engines on stands with blowers will reinforce your feeling of being in the right place.

Just got my 1963 Studebaker Lark engine back. Quality workmanship, easy to work with, and they did go over their original quote. I can't wait to put lots on miles on their work.

top notch engine builder, really knows his stuff. Fair prices but exceptional workmanship. Not necessarily fast so plan accordingly but you will be pleased with the finished product.

Great place to get engine work done. Not sure about other services. Got cylinders bored and honed as well as a crank ground down for a rebuild. Slapped it together and it's just about broken in with no problems so far.
