This is the most unprofessional shop I've ever been to in my life, and technicians are not very knowledgeable. This shop has cost me thousands of dollars for problems that were non-existent. Falsely claim to repair parts when they just rigged man-made hosing, causing a vacuum leak. They intentionally stuffed a paper towel between my catalic converter and exhaust, which caused smoking immediately , which could have resulted in a fire. I have different size screws placed around the gasket, which was leaking motor over my transmission and other belts. I don't believe the technicians are certified with this type of work or something cause this should have never happened

Mendoza Repair Shop exceeded my expectations in every aspect. My mechanic was Matt and he worked with the owner, Mr. Mendoza to make sure everything was taken care of. Their efficiency was remarkable, managing to address my vehicle's issues and have it back on the road the same day. My timing belt had gone bad and was in desperate need of repair. Communication throughout the process was stellar, ensuring I was well-informed and they educated me on the steps they were taking and WHY they were being taken. His team even went a step further and drove all the way to San Antonio to get a part for my car instead of having me out of commission for days on end. The fair pricing and top-notch customer service made the experience truly exceptional. What stood out even more was witnessing multiple customers driving from far away just to entrust their vehicles to Mendoza Repair Shop. It's a testament to the reputation they've earned for reliable service and dedication to customer satisfaction. I will recommend Mr. Mendoza and his team to everyone in need of auto repairs!

I cannot say enough good things about this place of business. Mr. Mendoza was the only auto repair shop in Seguin who answered my call on a Saturday. He even went the extra mile and drove to my house to assess what the problem could possibly be. We made an appointment for me to bring my vehicle to his shop and he was waiting for me when I got there. He and his excellent staff made sure that I was comfortable in the waiting area while they worked on my vehicle. He explained what the problem was and how much it would cost me prior to doing any work on the car. He let it be my decision if I wanted to move forward with the repair. His price was fair, and I appreciate that he did not try to over charge me for this repair. The next day he followed up with me to make sure my vehicle was still good. I am so pleased with the service that I received at Mendoza's Auto Repair. Thank you, Mr. Mendoza. I truly appreciate you and your excellent staff.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. The evening of August 9th 2023 my car started overheating so I pulled right into the gas station I was by and turned the car off. I bought a container of antifreeze and filled up my reservoir and my husband said we need to take my car to an auto shop because he felt something was wrong with my car. We waited until my car cooled down a little while and found the nearest auto shop to where we were that was open. So we drove the car to Mendoza auto repair in Seguin. My husband spoke with Ernesto and he said that it Could be the head gasket and if that is the case it would cost us around $6000 if we paid by card or if we paid by cash he could give us a deal and only charge us $3800. We agreed with the cash price and we put down a deposit of a $1000 and he said the car would be ready in about 2 weeks. After 2 weeks we went and picked up the car they already had it running for us and we drove it home turned the key off less than an hour later tried to start it again and it wouldn't start. We called Ernesto right away and he came out and looked at it and said it could be something with the fuse box and he would order one. After about a week we had the car towed back to his shop and it was there for 5 months and he could never get the car started again. He kept telling us these stories that he's waiting for this part and that part and his mechanic is sick. To make a long story short, He had the car for 5 months and it still doesn't run and we are now out over $4,000 because we had to buy a new battery that his shop worn down, a new oil dip stick that they broke, and several screws and bolts that were missing when we received the car back. And that is another thing when they towed the car back to my house there was no oil in it, no antifreeze in it, the serpentine belt was not put back on there were several bolts missing, thermostat housing bolt, motor mount bolts, antifreeze overflow housing bolts, the cover for my fuse box. The crank shaft pulley bolt is broken and spins freely. My passenger wheel well liner is missing. He also doesn't answer text messages or phone calls so we have to go to the shop if we want to talk to him. A very incompetent shop in all aspects.Too bad I can't give negative stars because I would, about 10 of them because we were screwed royally. We also have been asking for an itemized bill for 2 months that he refuses to give us. The shop is also very dirty and unorganized.

People are suffering everyday, economical times haven't been this hard in a while, and it'd hard to find a trustworthy show that's looking to help you, not just profit off you. That is Mendozas Auto Repair! As long as this building is standing, I refuse to take my care anywhere else even though I travel across the state often. They were professional, quick, straight up and very kind. The owner even helped my dog! YOU HAVE TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! HE DID NOTHING TO MY MOTHERS VEHICLE AND HAD IT FOR OVER A YEAR!!!! GAVE HER THE RUN AROUND LIED TO USE IN OUR FACE NUMEROUS TIMES!!!! HE WAS PAID IN FULL AND GAVE US A PROMISERY STATEMENT OF WHEN THE VEHICLE WOULD BE FINISHED AND STILL DIDN'T HONOR IT!!!! PARTS AND OUR KEY GOT "STOLEN" UNDER HIS WATCH (BUT HES LOOKINGAT THE CAMERA TO FIGUREOUTWHAT HAPPENED)!!!! APPARENTLY ITS WAS NOT OF IMPORTANCE TO HIM WHAT SO EVER!!!! I HAD TO GET MY MOMS VEHICLE TOWED FROM HIS PLACE OF BUISNESS!!!! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!! I WOULD GIVE HIM NEGATIVE STARS IF THAT WAS AN OPTION!!!! MY MOTHER IS A SENIOR CITIZEN AND NOT IN GOOD HEALTH BUT THIS IS THE WAY SHE WAS TREATED!!!! HE IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND HIM TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!

My husbands F150 truck got towed to Mendoza s by around 4 PM with a bad in tank fuel pump. He got it done THE SAME DAY!! & with a very reasonable price! Now I know who I ll go to when one of our vehicles have a problem. Thank y all so much! Y all need to GO THERE NOW!

Ernesto and his crew were awesome in repairing my waterpump and tensioner pulley. I paid the leftover amount from what my warranty covered and they were awesome enough to still let me take my truck even though I still had a balance. Although my warranty took forever to pay these guys these guys were very patient. I recommend 100% Good job guys

Definitely recommend anyone looking for car repairs to body work on their car to check this place out first. Everyone that I had talked to was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and helped answer any questions I had. This being my first time getting my 2018 Chevy Camaro repaired for a damaged thermostat. I had no idea what to expect or look for, but even so I trusted the people here whole heartily, and not once did they ever try to rip me off or lie about what was going on, they were very frank and honest and gave me their professional opinions, not once pressuring me into anything. Not only that but my car turned out to be more of a pain in the a** to repair than expected, but Mr. Mendoza was very generous to me, and I cannot begin to explain how very thankful I was that he didn't boost the price on me like any other place would have, even though it would have been very fair of him to do so. So all in all this is the type of mechanic shop that should be supported, they are passionate and the most humane place I've ever gone and spent money at, and I will be sure to come back for any future needs on my car. Thank you to Mr. Mendoza and his whole team for everything they did for me today even though they were very busy and had plenty to do. I will forever be thankful for the passion and dedication everyone there puts into their work. And next time I will make sure to come financially prepared to give this business the best service I can as a customer, like they give as a business.

Our car broke down and we got stranded in Seguin on a Friday evening with our one year old. Called up Mendoza and said, Bring it, we ll take care of you. We got to the shop and him and his mechanics couldn t have been nicer. It turned out that the motor had seized and the car needed a new motor. Mendoza said they would get a new motor and install it in a week. They even offered to pick us up dinner and give us a ride to a hotel in town. Mendoza kept his promise and the car was finished within a week. They also detailed the car inside and out before I picked it up. He even called and texted on the ride back home to make sure everything with the car was good. We are so grateful and appreciate Mendoza for taking care of us.

It's nice when you're from out of town and people try to help you. Went looking for tools to fix a problem, and no one had it. Was then given the name of an auto repair shop that would help us,Mendoza's Auto repair . Let me just say it was very late, and they were more than willing to help us out. From the owner, Mr. Mendoza to the mechanic Matt. (Matt had gone to get parts and had just came back and just jumped in to fix it). Both were very friendly , knowledgeable, and respectful people. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Mr. Mendoza and his staff are amazing!! Very kind, honest, and personable! Never had a better experience at a mechanic. Mr. Mendoza was very helpful with explaining what was going on with my car and how they would fix it for me. He went the extra mile to get me the best prices and provide me with great service. Highly recommend this business!!! Amazing service and staff! Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Great prices! They went out of their way to work on my car after hours to ensure I had my car ready the next day. They found my leak and replaced my power steering lines! Mr. Mendoza is awesome and will make you feel at ease knowing you will have everything fixed in a timely manner and at a good rate! I brought my Mercedes GLK 350 to have work done, I was treated with great personal customer service and my car run fantastic at a very reasonable price. In the lobby there were several happy repeat customers bringing in other cars and referring family. That says a lot about a auto shop. I give it 5 stars

Broke down in Seguin on our way back from Houston to San Antonio on MEMORIAL DAY!! This was the only mechanic close by that was open. The owner was legit our hero! Not only did he have the parts and willing to do the work at a VERY fair price, he was also extremely nice and friendly which made us feel super comfortable and appreciative of his services. He offered us food and drinks as we waited and really made two young strangers feel like family! I live in San Antonio and would drive to Seguin specifically for his services.

Just got an exhaust kit put on. Called them and had a time set up 20 minutes later. Mechanics know what they're doing and has the vibe of a good Ole shop and not some corporate chain shop.

So far great. Just had to wait awhile for service but okay since my work is getting done...waited 6 months plus and parts switched on my truck, wires weren't reattached and parts that insurance paid for were never replaced. Very poor service and attitude. My calls were often ignored and many excuses were made. Terrible place to have body work done especially if you need your vehicle within a reasonable amount of time...

BLUF this is the shop that you want to use! Honest, hard working, and very reasonably priced. They value taking care of people. If there were 10 stars available, that's what my rating would be. If you have time to read the story, this was my experience:Leaving San Antonio it became obvious that my 95 Chevy was having some problems. I thought for sure the clutch was done. Turns out it was the differential. We were making a military move (PCS) from Fort Bliss to Fort Jackson and still had 1100+ miles to go when we pulled off the I-10 in Sequin. It was Friday afternoon and other mechanics were shutting down for the weekend. Some said that they could possibly get to us by Wednesday or Thursday of the next week. Mr Mendoza said to bring it over. He had 4 jobs in front of ours but they did get me in and accurately diagnosed my problems within a half hour of my arrival.The owner's brother, who everybody called "Google" went to work finding the needed parts. He volunteered to come in on Saturday to search local salvage yards for a used rear end for my truck. He found an air bag kit to reinforce my rear suspension, on Amazon, for $1100 less then the local parts store wanted, and had it shipped to his own house, so it could arrive on Sunday. No mark up on the parts. Bobby Jr, put the whole thing together and we were back on the road by Wednesday afternoon for under $2500.These guys treated me like family, and they didn't even know me. Mr Mendoza offered me a ride to where I planned to stay and he even leant me his new truck to pull my cargo trailer there. He didn't know me but "Here, take my truck.... Here's the keys. I know you'll bring it back."To top it off..... When they found out that the running lights on my trailer weren't working, they fixed that for me too. The bill was already added up and they did that last one for free. I can't thank them enough. Honest, hard working, and more than fair. If you're anywhere around San Antonio and need mechanic or body work, these are the guys you want to work with!

Gonna give them 5 stars and my truck, i feel is overdue. Taking to long ! Non the less the guys there are awesome. The body guy does some really awesome work too. I've went by a few times checking on my truck and everytime the guys had it going on. I guess the owner is OK too !
