How do I even begin to describe the outstanding service this place gave me? I was traveling to Bandara to observe the April 8th eclipse when I was warned by another motorist to pull over about five miles outside of Eden, TX. The front axle on my RV was smoking, and my bearings were shot. I had the RV towed here, and Dusty assessed the damage. The axle needed to be replaced, and he had difficulty finding a new one in time for me to return home to Rio Rancho, NM. So, since he couldn't find a replacement axle, Dusty machined me a new one! To say I'm satisfied with the service this man gave me would be a gross understatement. I am ecstatic! Anytime you need a repair or service done to your vehicle, do not hesitate to bring it to Dusty. He is a man of outstanding character and dedication.

This place came highly recommended by a good friend for some engine repair on one of my trucks and I couldn't imagine why judging from the reviews. I had already been given some OUTRAGEOUS estimates on a possible over haul from some of the 5-star shops and so figured I had nothing to lose. So I took the metaphorical leap of faith. Best choice I ever made! Dusty took the time to explain the problems, discuss my options, allowed me to ask questions, and assured me the problem was not as severe as I had been lead to believe. They got my truck fixed, back on the road, and running better than it ever has and the price was right.

I was driving down i-10 to get to my next duty station as an active duty service member when my Honda broke down in Junction Texas. It was Easter weekend and no one was working. I called the Midas in San Angelo and they said they would send someone to tow me but it would be $350. I agreed to pay that and they sent the man out. I guess the tow trucks engine fell out, after I had been waiting about five hours for a tow, and they apologized and said they would send someone else out. After 10 hours of waiting for a tow, a tow man finally arrived and we were on our way. I kept joking with the man how I possibly could have gotten a tow sooner, but they all wanted to charge me $700 instead of $350, and there's no way I was going to pay $700 just for a tow. He joked back and agreed that that is crazy.When we get to the mechanic shop he suggested he tow me to, he gave me a price for the tow.$768.Never once was I told it would cost me $700 to be towed from Junction to Ozona, which is only a 50 minute drive. I would have just paid AAA. He then threatened to impound my Honda, which is only worth about $700 if I refused to pay it. Due to the fact that all my military uniform items of the Navy were in this vehicle, and my shipmatea uniform items that was unfortunately traveling with me, we had to pay it. I tried to negotiate anything with this man and they wouldn't budge at all, not a dollar. I am sick at my stomach that they charged me more than my mother pays in rent to tow a car for 50 minutes. I could have pushed it that far if I knew they were only using my unfortunate car trouble as a way to rob a service member of both of our checks. If you are in a bind on the side of the highway, DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE. They will only judge you and see how much your worth and take every dollar they can.

This business WILL rip you off !!! charged me $750 to replace an injector line on the top front of my Duramax. Had no choice was 300 miles from home. Now one year later the same line blew a seal. My mechanic says the line was installed crooked and was destined to fail. Stay away from this business.

I would have like to give less than a one star rating but Google doesn't let me. It is the worst place I have ever been to to fix a car. Towed my friends car and then couldn't fix it and still had the audacity to charge her for keeping her car there per day without even informing her. Since the window wasn't fixed we thought they would leave the car under cover or something. Instead they left it outside and the interior of her car was destroyed when it rained. They also charged her for checking her starter when she had already done it about 5 times before and didn't agree on them checking it because she knew that wasn't the issue. When I asked about leaving the car outside in the rain and the damage it had caused to the interior, the woman at the front desk said, "well the window didn't roll up so it's not our problem".

Today two other local truck service company referred me to this company to get an oil change on my pete 379. Truckers call it a PM. After nearly 4 hours of service on my truck I get the bill and its $900.00 + dollars for a oil change!!! REALLY!The wiper fluid was not filled the fifth wheel not greased and to top it off 150.00 per air filter. And they even charge you for using a credit card 3%. I guess I paid their whole staff wages this day but never again.This place will rip you off and won't even thank you properly for it. Please stay away!

I would also like to give them negative stars, but google doesn't let me!!Terrible, abusive, and unjust people!!!! they say they will charge you an amount for a tow and make driver sign a blank invoice and 2 days later they want to charge you 3 times more for a tow?!?!? $400/hr?!?!? plus other stupid nonsense stuff?!?!? and if you don't pay they make you have a hard time and make you pay more.. and If you do pay they still give you the hardest time ever if you don't want to fix your equipment with them.. I do not recommend them at all!!! If you don't believe me go ahead.. use them!!! If you need a tow call Home Motors in San Angelo, TX.. THEY DONT CHARGE YOU PER HOUR OR FOR OTHER STUPID STUFF!!

This is the best business I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Dusty is a true gentleman with a huge heart. If you are looking for someone to do you right and get the job done, Souther Insustrial is who you should call. He has gone above and beyond for us and I can t thank him enough. This is the first review I have ever left and will probably be the only one. Thank you so much Dusty for what you have done.

Unprofessional on his word and work! I took my 5.9 12val engine head to get resurfaced around 2 months ago and he never touched it came up with excuses every week about this and that. Yeah I understand people get busy but this guy just didn't touch the head it was in the same spot i left it 2 months ago smh
