My experience today at Midas was by far top tier service I ve had in years. Nick was quick with getting my vehicle serviced, friendly and helpful with the entire process. The Mechanic fixed our brake problem in minutes! I m very pleased with there business today and will be ONLY going to Midas from now on. Thank you Nick!

Okay, I got a call from the owner asking me to change my review so here goes. I called twice the day before to get a free diagnostic to find out what was wrong. The next morning there was miscommunication and they thought they were doing an alignment. I told them and they drove it to know that my truck was pulling hard to the right. They said they put it on the computer and it came out it needed an alignment and rack and pinion done. I left after that and went to another shop where they showed me that it wasn't that. I ended up leaving town for Christmas driving several hours. I took it to Walmart this morning and it was a tire with a busted belt. They didn't have my size in stock so now I'm on a 14-year-old cracked spare with hundreds of miles to get back and no tire shop open till after Christmas. I'll ease up some on my review but I was let down with these guys who could have found out just as easily as Walmart Automotive did that I needed a new tire. I can't see my Son and grandkids now for Christmas because of this. So take the chance if you want to but there are more professional shops in town.

I came here before my long drive home after a really bad morning that had me bawling. They were so incredibly sweet and informative!!! They literally went way above and beyond for me. They are all so great!! They made the worst day better I can honestly they are the BIGGEST BLESSING on a day that I didn t think I could get through

My brother took his car to get repaired due to there being an issue with the AC to get fixed a couple of months ago as he goes to college. He paid $500 for it to be fixed and two months later it stops working again. When he takes it back to the shop yesterday to get that address they wanted to charge him another $800 to fix the same issue that they should have fixed two months ago. Your work should be guaranteed and not a constant money pit to a poor college student trying to scrape by. Shame on y all.

I always get car care and customer service,I take my vehicle to Midas exclusively. They know me,they know my vehicle, and they keep me on the road without worry. I save time and money going to one place and not bouncing from shop to shop. Good people, good service less stress.

Needed a state inspection and needed it fast. All the other places I called said they stop around 4pm. I work until 5pm, so that wasn't going to work. I called Midas at 5:51pm (they close at 6pm) without much hope. The young man that answered the phone told me that if I get there in 5 minutes they would get it done! I was only 3 minutes away! They are amazing! I will definitely be taking my vehicles back here for ANY work I need doneService: Vehicle safety inspection

AMAZING customer service! Everyone is great! Oil change & tire rotation was quick, easy, & cheap. The man who works in the front office that is the manager is very kind & patient. Everyone there is awesome! Wish I lived here long term so I could go here for routine maintenance. ----DO NOT EVER USE MIDAS IN SAN ANGELO, TX!!!!----If I could give negative stars, I would.I took my vehicle in a couple months ago to figure out why it was idling rough and dying. After waiting longer than expected, they diagnosed a faulty fuel pump and replaced the pump and filter. This cost me over $800.Not more than 2 days later, I went to gas up my vehicle and the pump wouldn't allow me to pump gas, as if the tank was already full. It was about to be the weekend, and I wouldn't be able to bring it back in until Monday. Before Monday arrived, the rough idle issue returned. So now I have the same problem I started with, PLUS I can't fill up with gas....So I take it in on Monday and they keep it all day long trying to figure out what the problem is. Apparently they pinched off a fuel line putting the tank back on after replacing the pump and filter, which caused the filling issue, but now they had no idea whatsoever as to why my vehicle was idling roughly. So at this point I've spent over $800 to waste my time and learn nothing.Last week I was able to take it in to a different mechanic and guess what... I need a new fuel pump!!!----DO NOT EVER USE MIDAS IN SAN ANGELO, TX!!!!----Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is one of the best auto repair shops I've ever used. They've done a fantastic job ever time! Went in thinking that I had an issue with my brakes and AC and found that I had major issues. Wasn t expecting or well planned for a major expense like this. This team made sure I got the work done that I needed and provided me with plenty of options on how to financially secure these services. I couldn t be happier with my experience here! I was very impressed with the mechanics because they were able to quickly diagnose the problem and gave me a very reasonable quote for repairs. They even caught that my wheel bearings were severely worn out and had everything repaired by the next afternoon! My car now drives better than it has in a very long time. Worst customer service I ve ever seen. I m usually very easy going, I ve worked in customer service for years and have never seen anything like this. Only three other customers waited for over an hour with me, I only needed an oil change. I assume the employees screaming song lyrics in the back made the wait longer. Not to mention a grown man came to me and told me they warned me many times about my air filters, (this was my first visit) trying to get me to purchase a few more items, he was very unprofessional and rude. I hope the older couple who had been waiting for hours received help soon after I left. I will never go back, nor will I refer anyone to this store.Service: Oil change

This group of guys at this particular store have always gone above and beyond for me and their customer service is top notch! They are the only place I'll take my vehicles now because they've earned my trust, I have a 2003 truck that they took care of except for the one time I was in a rush and I took it elsewhere, well that truck has been sitting at an automotive shop since early December because of that choice and I've regretted it every day since, I highly, highly recommend this store and this group of guys that work here!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I highly reccomend everyone stay away from here. I came here because my windshield washer fluid was leaking/not spraying & to replace a tire pressure sensor. It took them 3.5 hours to finish my car. While fixing my tire sensor they broke a lug nut on my car because they do not use hand tools and only used a torque wrench. Then they didn't fully reconnect my undercover. I brought it in the next day regarding the undercover that was dangling under my car and instead of taking 5 minutes to fix it, they chose to argue that they didn't touch that part of the cover, even though it's all one piece. They tried to get out of fixing it and after a lot of back and forth they clipped it back in. What horrible customer service to not just take 5 minutes to fix your own mistake. Then days later my original problem is back and the fluid is leaking but I will NEVER let this place touch my car again. I can't imagine the argument that would come from me telling them they didn't actually fix anything! DO NOT COME HERE.

I went in for an oil change which included a tire rotation. I set up an appointment and they were able to get me in and out within that two hour time slot. They changed my filter as well with my permission. I did not feel hounded my extra expenses. Overall, I spent about 107 dollars. I recommend dropping the car off rather than waiting inside if possible as the waiting area gets a little cramped. Overall, as a college student who needs a reliable vehicle and thus reliable service, I am happy with my experience.Service: Oil change

When I first moved to San Angelo, I used this Midas for all my auto repair needs. I used to recognize the same nice and helpful staff who even helped with small problems free of charge.Now returning after a year I don t recognize any of the staff. This in itself isn t a bad thing. But the last 3 visits I ve been given false diagnoses after checking with other shops for second opinions. The final straw was this third and final visit, where after receiving my car back, I found that the SD card in my dash cam was missing.I have left a positive review here before. But was so appalled by this I deleted it to write this one. Another reviewer also stated they lost money from their glove box here. So I will be using other locations from now on.

So my experience with them has been a disaster. The first time I took it in because the switch for the ac/heater was not working right. They fixed that, didn't charge much, great. Then my car started making an odd noise so I took it in to them. They said it was the timing belt, they kept it for two weeks and I got it back, running fine. Although I ended up paying $1600 for it. I had a light come on so I took it to the Mitsubishi dealer here in town and they discovered numerous nuts and bolts scattered around under the hood and even some parts left off completely. I was told to take it back to Midas since it was still under warranty for them to fix it. I took it back after they said they had received all the parts because I did not want to be left without a vehicle for more time than necessary. My car was running when I left it there Monday, May 2. I was told by the manager it would just be a couple of days. Fast forward to Friday, my engine is completely ruined and I'm being treated like it is my fault. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB. I tried to reach the district manager in Midland when I found out about what had been done the first time but apparently he does not feel the need to call customers back.

The team at Midas repaired the valve cover gasket. They explained what was needed and the cost. Making a last minute appointment and they got me in same day! Service was quick and professional. Going in for a oil change and A/C recharge for a 2019 GMC 3500 Denali. Saved me money by letting me know I didn't need an A/C recharge but rather a new cabin air filter. My brakes were messing up and they saw me the same day and got it fixed. I come here for oil changes..ac problems..now brakes..and they have always been friendly and even without appointment got it done same day for me.
