My wife's brakes started making a horrible sound and wanted to take it in to be looked at but did not have the time because of her work schedule. I called Dan and he was able to send a tech out the next morning. They inspected all brakes and determined it was just the back pads that needed replacing. No up-selling, no extra. Pads were quickly replaced and my wife didn't even have to leave work. Called around to get prices and for the convenience of not having to leave work, sit in a waiting room and being up-sold it is worth it.Service: Brakes

I couldn't be happier with using Stop on a Dime's brake service. Christopher came out to my house and showed up on time and replaced my front brakes. Turned out I needed a power steering pump replacement too, so after he was done with the brakes he ran to pick up a new pump and replaced that too. All at my house and very quickly. It's an awesome service and I highly recommend

These guys are awesome! My brakes were making noise in the morning coming into work and I didn't want to pick up my son after with a dangerous ride. They were able to come to my work shortly after I contacted them. Price and service were great! I normally do my own maintenance because I don't trust shops but I will use these guys for my brakes from now on.

My daughter's hand me down 2012 Jeep Liberty's brakes started groaning on Monday. I called a few brake specialists stores in town and quotes were starting at $400 just for one axle (and had a two day wait) so I contacted Stop On A Dime to check out their mobile repair estimate. They quoted a good price that was under the others AND were coming to me the same day. Worst case was Dan had a technician coming to me by 9:00 am the next day but instead the worked us in the same day! Randy arrived on time and despite being delayed by incorrectly boxed pads at the parts house finished on time because Dan made a special trip to deliver the right part. It was a HOT 5:30 pm day but they took care of my daughter's car with a great attitude and at a price. They even came in under the estimated cost of repair! These guys are great!After I was quoted needing new rear brakes and rotors at a national chain i went shopping around and ran across Stop on a Dime.After checking them out online on different sites i decided to try them out and could not be more happy. Chris the mechanic who came out, told/showed me my rotors were barley worn if at all and that just replacing the pads would be fine.Ended up saving a couple hundred dollars not needlessly replacing my rotors.My brakes seem to be stopping well and everything but if anything changes I'll be sure to update this review.

Christopher came to my home and replaced the brakes on my Jeep. He did a very good job.The problem I have is with the owner, Dan.The job was completed over 2 weeks ago, and I was told I would get an invoice with the warranty info, etc. I have EMAILED & TEXTED him about this, and have been completely IGNORED.I still dont have an invoice or any kind af warranty information. I paid 339.00 total.

Great service, great price!I called on a Thursday afternoon, hoping to get an appointment for early the next week. Dan said he could have someone out the same day! I wasn't expecting that, and wasn't going to be home until late. When asked what time I would like to have a technician come out the next day, I told him I would be home all day, so whenever it was convenient for them. Dan said, "No, no, no, that's my line. When is best for you?" Refreshing customer service in this day and age.The technician, Chris, was friendly, timely, and thorough. No upsell. Just a quality repair at my home for less than I was quoted by three brick-and-mortar shops.I can't recommend Stop on a Dime highly enough.

I am always a little leery of ratings when they are all 5 stars. I think they have been stacked by the business. Now I know why Stop on a Dime has so many good ratings. They were on time, honest, convenient, fast and the work was top notch. I can't think of any reason to go to a shop for brakes. In the day of cheating, lying, dishonest car repair "joints" these guys are a breath of fresh air. I Very seldom recommend anyone .... I recommend Stop On a Dime

Hi Robert.As you will recall we have discussed on several occasions the challenges related to brake noise on the Maserati line. It is the brand's single biggest consumer complaint. Dealer provided service is not immune to the issue.The work we provided was done professionally by a highly experienced master mechanic using high quality parts and industry best practices. In initial consultation with you we proceeded to replace only the pads and sensor and not the rotors. The risk of noise was clearly discussed. We wish we had a solution for this pervasive issue but all we can do is install the parts.As we have already seen the car since the parts were originally installed and are certain that the brakes operate properly and present no safety concerns we are meeting the extent of our warranty.As to what further efforts may be made: 1) burnish the rotors and resurface the pads 2) resurface the rotors assuming there is adequate remaining thickness and install new pads 3) install new rotors and pads. These services can be made at additional cost. Unfortunately on any Maserati there is no guarantee that any combination of parts and service will completely eliminate brake noise.I hate that you are experiencing the "Maserati misery". They are such beautiful automobiles and it is frustrating that this common design flaw plagues the line.Respectfully,Dan ZimmermanStop on a Dime LLC

I was very impressed with the quickness and professional manner. The professional that installed my new rear brakes was very knowledgeable and professional. I will recommend this company to my family and friends. They do what they say their going to do, no surprises. Very very satisfied.

The car has painted calipers (red) - the tech scratched both front calipers by placing them on the cement driveway when changing the brake pads. Additionally, he scratched one caliper with his drill. Terrible service, I will never use them again!Service: BrakesService: Brakes
