Jeff and team are awesome. I was so appreciative to find them as it saved me almost $1000 compared to what the Mercedes dealership wanted to charge me for brakes. It made me feel good when I went to schedule the apportionment, I met a longtime customer who also had great feedback

Found this shop through a Google search and scheduled an appointment due to their rating and reviews. Gotta say it was a GREAT find! Came in for an oil change on my BMW X5 and got a reasonable price compared to dealership. Also recommended changing air filter and cabin filter. Again reasonable price. Shop rate is very competitive! Didn t have the cabin filter in stock but said they could order it and have it delivered the next day. Came back today and took maybe 15 minutes for them to install. Jeff is a funny guy and very up front. Great customer service! Highly recommend this shop. Ruby is the shop pet. Sweet pup!

Auto Shop NightmareFirst, I went in and told Jeff I need an oil change on three vehicles, I should have known something was not right by the way his eyes lite up. I told him I been using the dealer cause the neighborhood repair shops kept trying to rip me off with the You have a leak . I told him I do not have a leak! I stop going to German Auto works on Buckingham and Plano road because of that, also FT Auto because of that and the fact that when I took my vehicle in, I left with something wrong that was not wrong when I brought it in Mechanics padding the ticket .I picked my cars up and the first thing out of his mouth was you have a leak; I know you said you didn t have a leak, but you do really?! Now I smell oil where I did not before, and my pretty new driveway has oil stains on it that I did not have before because I did not have a leak! I paid a little over $1000.00 with three oil changes and transmission mounts replacement. Now my shocks bounce all the way home. That I did not have before, I have two oil leaks that I did not have before, all while trying to pad the ticket! Trying to get another $1000.00 out of me. Well, I now must spend that money to get those things fixed but it will not be there! This shop is about to be put on blast on Instagram, Facebook, The Consumer Protection Agency, The Better Business Bureau. And I might get an Attorney for Fraud! Trying to support the neighborhood shop and save a few bucks during this Pandemic and got screwed!! It is dealer from here on out for me! BEWARE!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

My 2004 Z4 was making sounds like it was losing idle and the check engine light came on. I wanted to support our local businesses so I called and spoke with Jeff. He was extremely friendly and professional. He fixed the issues. The price was fair. Cheaper than BMW dealership for sure. On my way to get my car inspected two weeks after I got my car back, the check engine light came back on again. I was a little irritated. I called and Jeff told me to bring it back in. He diagnosed and repaired the problem at no extra charge. He made it right. Wait there s more. On my second attempt to get my car inspected, the check engine light came back on the third time! Once again, he fixed it and even got my car inspected!!! All three times were different issues. Remember, my Z4 is a 2004 with over 100K miles on it. Jeff will have my business as long as I still drive my Z. Thanks Jeff and your great staff!

Jeff and his team went above and beyond in diagnosing and resolving a challenge A/C issue for my son's VW Passat which gave us several challenges as we tried to work thru the issues with Rusty Wallis. We are a customer for life. Effort and pricing were 5 star.

Great shop! I was getting some error codes in my 2011 MB E550 and they got them taken care off and did some other repairs. They were honest and straight forward with the repairs. They also use liqui moly oil which is awesome for German cars! Just call in advance they are super busy! Jeff Johnson and team, did phenomenal work on our BMW X5 35d!! Another shop did not have the setup/knowledge/ECM tuning ability to replace defective #6 fuel injector and #1 glowplug. Also had an issue with running in limp mode that was unresolved. Jeff's team was able to replace all bad parts, performed the needed ECM Adaptations and it is running like a champ now!Labor and pricing was also very wonderful - first time to shop but has earned a lifelong future customer! First time owner of a BMW and wouldn't you know the check engine light came on. I met Jeff and Keith and they took extremely good care of my car. Diagnosing check engine light problems can be a pesky thing sometimes and these guys kept me up to date on the progress and what we needed to do. After a few days they knocked it out. Thanks next time I need the BMW worked it's going there.Service: Engine repair

Seriously, I cannot rave about this place enough! I m so thankful I found them. I ve been here twice but my experience today is what prompted this review. I had an issue with my car which caused it to shake and my check engine light came on. I was too afraid to drive it all the way to the dealership, so I called my warranty company and they directed me to a local authorized BMW mechanic. So I went, they gave me a quote for almost a grand and told me my warranty would not cover what I needed. Something in my soul told me to call Rowlett Motorwerks and have them check it. I called and spoke with Jeff, who is awesome to work with, by the way, and he told me to bring it in (still local to me) and he ll run a diagnostic free of charge. Long story short- he told me what was wrong, kept my car overnight and I had it back the next afternoon. A total breeze. On top of that, the cost was HUNDREDS cheaper than the other authorized shop. I am so thankful to Jeff and the rest of the guys there. They were all very nice, patient and kind and didn t judge me on my lack of car knowledge. 10/10 would highly recommend. Jeff has been my Service Advisor for several years. He is very honest and has great integrity. I completely trust him to service all four of the vehicles in my family. Even though I have to travel a bit farther to have my vehicles serviced, it is worth the drive to take them to Rowlett Motorwerks!

I can't say enough about Jeff and the mechanics at this shop. I went in expecting to pay a lot more and thought I had diagnosed the problem myself. They explained what my car needed and also found some other issues, but stressed the work didn't need to be completed immediately. When they told me the price, I thought it was just for the one repair, but it was for everything! The work was completed in less time than promised and I am very pleased. This is an honest, caring service facility. If you have a European car that you love--you've found the shop to trust.

Honest and dependable. Can't say enough great things about these guys. Took my car into Mercedes Dealership and they were going to charge me an arm and a leg for some repair work that they couldn't find the issue to, so they decided to go the most expensive route. Jeff and Keith did their due diligence and found the root cause of the issue and saved me a lot of money. Twenty minutes into our trip back to Massachusetts the check engine light came on, and it was flashing. Being a service advisor at a repair facility back home, I braced myself for a lengthy turn around time as most shops now a days are booked out and busy.Upon desperately google searching for somewhere else to go, Rowlett Motorwerks looked promising. The name hinted that they may be geared towards German vehicles, but after checking out their website to confirm if they worked on domestics, they did. I was happy as they had rave reviews.Upon calling, Jeff was polite and upbeat on the phone. I told him my concern was that we were trying to drive back home, and the truck was misfiring. I also mentioned that we were currently at a different repair facility, and that I didn t quite get the warm and fuzzies from them. He told me they were in fact busy, but he could take a quick look at the truck and hopefully it was something simple and we could be on our way. A breath of fresh air from the previous facility we had stopped at, the other facility was insinuating catastrophic engine issues before even setting up diagnostic equipment.When we arrived, the lot was busy, full of German cars. Upon walking in the front office, it was very clean and felt welcoming. Looking around you can see the employees training certificates framed and hung up lining the top of the office walls like a border. It s nice to see that a business takes the time invest in their employees skills, training, and growth. An other thing I noticed was this shop is TechNet, and RepairPal affiliated which is a good thing. These two things alone mean as a customer you are going to be getting a higher tier of service: professional and friendly, with quality repairs and quality parts being used. Out in the office they have a LiquiMoly display, and behind the service advisor s work station I had noticed a shelving unit full of quality name brand parts that we also use back home. The more and more I looked around, the more and more I was happy with our decision to come to Rowlett Motorwerks.Once Jeff had gotten off the phone he pleasantly greeted us and we started the process of getting the truck written up. Shortly after, he pulled the truck into the shop. A short while after that, Jeff had come back into the office and said they had confirmed we had a failed ignition coil. He said he could order one locally and get us on our way as soon as they could. Not only was it a wonderful surprise that they had gotten a chance to diagnose the truck sooner than I had expected, it was a relief that the truck only needed a coil.While waiting for the truck to be repaired we had encountered an other employee, he was also friendly and pleasant. I also witnessed Jeff interact with a gentleman picking up his BMW from being serviced. He explained the repairs that had been performed in a professional way that was easy to understand. Our truck went out for a road test, and was given the green light to continue on our 1700 mile trek home.We are so thankful to have found Rowlett Motorwerks, and so thankful that Jeff and the guys got us back up and rolling quickly and with a smile! It was a relief to encounter such a professional, honest, and courteous repair facility, especially being thousands of miles from home. If we ever move out here to be closer to our family, they have my family s business; and to be honest I would also inquire about a job opportunity, as this is a repair facility I d be proud to work for, much like the one back home.Service: Auto emissions testing

GREAT Service and GREAT staff! Everyone was professional and courteous. I thought I needed a tune-up but they refused to let me spend the money without diagnosing the issue to make sure. Turns out I didn't need a tune-up after all but I did need some basic maintenance. This shop is good for women who do not know much about cars. The guys are patient and take time to explain exactly what needs to be done.

I've lived all over the world in my 15 years of military service and these folks are Customer Service at it's finest! I'm new to the Rowlett area and needed a place work on our BMW X5. I called to ask if I needed an appointment for an oil change and as soon as I spoke to Keith I already knew I was coming here. Just by the way everyone talks to you here is enough for them to get my future business. They are truly genuine and passionate with everything that they do. If you need a place to work on any vehicle, do yourself a favor and come here! You won't be disappointed.

These guys are the best! My BMW X5 was in trouble when I found them. They did major repairs including a leak on the back of the engine, and other preventative maintenance that would need attention in the very near future. They went over and above to trace a wiring issue that seemed to have no answer. My car runs better than ever and I can t give them a review high enough for all their work. I will refer them to all my friends and family and no other shop will ever work on my BMW! These gentlemen are very professional and polite. Never met mechanics who also are so friendly. We had trouble fitting my after market front lip to my bmw m4 at not fault of theirs. After 2 hours the guy had it looking amazing. They didn't even charge me so I tipped the guy! I drove 30 miles and I live around all kinds of shops. I only trust these guys!
