I had an excellent experience with Jason, the owner, regarding my 2012 Dodge Ram. I brought it in for a warranty claim, and the diagnosis was swift and accurate. The engine replacement was done promptly, ensuring I was back on the road before my busy lawn season began. I highly recommend Jason's services for car maintenance; his location is convenient and his service top-notch. Thanks again for the great work!

Do NOT go here. Took my vehicle in for a diagnostic for some issue I was having. Was told that this and that was wrong. Approved the repair. Received a call saying that while they were test driving my vehicle after their recommended repair the engine blew. They blamed it on a fix that a dealership did a year before. Instead of admitting their wrong diagnosis of the problem, I was told that I would have to pay for the replacement engine and labor. Even though my vehicle was running when I took it in, it not being able to run after they had worked on it apparently was my fault.Do yourself a favor and drive another 2 miles and get a genuine golden service. Avoid this place.

I love this place! This is my 2nd time dealing with this shop. Both times I was met with respect and patience. Jason helped explain exactly what was going on with my car in a way that I could understand. I never felt as though I was being rushed or was annoying with all my questions. They do great work at a decent price. Thank you again for making this as pleasant experience as one can possibly hope for in stressful situations dealing with car issues.This place is now officially my mechanic shop

We were broke down in Rowlett and needed to get back to C/S area the next day. Jason and crew were able to squeeze us in and fix the broken c/v axle in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. Also suggested some other items that will need attention.Much thanks for your service!Tom Holmquist

Worst Car repair ever. Would never recommend to anyone. More stuff was broke or incomplete getting my jeep back.Valves unhooked in my engine screws missing everywhere in the engine and cab. Highly disappointed and upset.

Greeted nicely, attendant remembered my call and had my data logged in. Listened carefully to what was going on test drove lifted car and repaired quickly. I did request other work but they were not properly equipped.

Totally SatisfiedWe took my wife's car in with a bad coolant leak and was expecting the worse but these guys found the problem quickly and turned out to be a hose and it was replaced and solved our issue with a minimal cost!!! We have been using Lewis Complete Auto Repair for years and they are honest, trustworthy and know how to take care of their customers! We will definitely be back when the need arises!! This was my first experience at Lewis Complete Auto Repair. I have a Honda Elantra that had the check engine light on. I took the car in the shop, having to leave it there for a couple of days. I picked up the car July 13th and paid $382.50.Unfortunately they weren't able to fix the problem (not their fault at all), sometimes there are problem beyond what they can fix. The gentleman at the front told me the computer has to be replaced and even reached out to the Honda dealership himself which I appreciate.My problem comes when the gentleman in the front told me they checked everything they could "isolating the switches, everything runs well" is what he said on the phone and he was very adamant about it. Ensuring me they check everything and couldn't find no problem and the issue was "a grounding issues from the computer to the system". So I took his word for it.It's now July 31st and my car is done for. My car no longer starts and the alternator needs to be replaced. It's unfortunate that my car no longer is operable but that isn't the issue, I just wished that I was told about it when "everything was checked".

Had to have all hoses, belts, water pump, A/C charged, brake fluid changed. Parts were hard to find, but they located and ordered them from around country. 2000 Plymouth Prowler is all fixed up!!! Bad experience with coolant system repair. I had to add coolant and then troubleshoot after car still overheating. Had to replace fan with module. After they said it was radiator which was the most expensive part. Quoted me $400 to replace fan. I bought the part and did the repair in 20 minutes. Cost was around $230 for the part. I also got pushed back in line for a fleet repair after having vehicle towed in very early in the morning hours before they opened. Won't be back. Radiator was not OEM part either. UPDATE:PLEASE CHECK your records. The Vehicle WAS NOT BACK in for you to determine anything. It was in your shop one time. I called you to tell you that you had NOT topped off the coolant and you offered to pay me for the amount of coolant I added. I troubleshooted the fans and did the repair. The fact you lied about it just now kinda says it all.

Great shop. Sunder explained everything that needed doing and took care of things I had written off as just how my old car is , it s like a new vehicle! I m an amateur mechanic, but you have to know when to pass the wrenches to the pros. Thanks guys!

I cant speak highly enough about the guys at Lewis Complete Auto Repair. I brought my Ram 2500 in with a bad engine. I had rebuilt the top end of that engine twice prior so I know a lot about mechanics. These guys gave me a very direct and honest answer that the engine lost compression on multiple cylinders and would most likely need to be replaced. I gave the go ahead so they ordered the new engine and installed it. It did take a while but the majority of that was due to waiting on the new engine to arrive. Once I got the truck back it did have a few minor issues that would cause the check engine light to come on. However, they took care of the issues I had for free and got me back on the road. These gentlemen are honest, hardworking and extremely respectful. My wife had the opportunity to speak with them once on the phone and immediately mentioned how polite they were. I would not hesitate to send any friends or family to Lewis Complete Auto Repair.

My side arm rest for the rear seat came out. I tried to fix it myself but couldn't. I took it to Lewis Auto Repair and they fixed it in a few minutes. They did not even take the payment. Really glad to find this shop so close to where I live. I will now go here for all my auto service needs!

My AC was not blowing cold air and after checking, the cooling fan had been locking up and needed replacing. That was done and things are working well. Another shop in the area wanted to fully replace AC system.

Highly competent workers with a focus on customer service. They diagnosed the issue with my air conditioning that has been ongoing for 18 months that another shop couldn't identify when looking at it twice. They listened to my issue and actually drove the car to evaluate it and provided a cost effective solution. Highly recommended.

Went here based on Google reviews for honesty, quality work, and communications. Took my old Mitsubishi in for an A/C compressor repair/replacement anticipating it to cost over $1000 (best case). After they got into it and determined that the insides had come apart, they determined that it would cost $1800-$2000 depending on whether metal fragments had damaged the condenser. Sunder called me with the bad news and have me a chance to decide, explaining that they could order the parts and start work as soon as I made a decision. Although the repair more than I had expected/hoped, it was the right way to fix it. Although another shop might have cut corners and done the job for less, I would have been gambling with having to do the repair, again. So, I prefer to have a quality job done right the first time so I can get all the usable life possible out of my car. As I've told my wife, "I can't afford any more discounts" (referring to paying less for interior quality work). That's why I'll be taking my family's cars here for out-of-warranty repairs for the foreseeable future.

These guys are a diamond in the rough. I haven't had to have any auto work done in a while but my wife's GMC Acadia broke down. The last place I used had shut down so I didn't know where to go. These guys came recommended from an Police Officer in Rowlett so I figured I would try them out. I spoke to Shawn the entire way through the process. He kept me updated the whole time and even advised me on what to do to have my wife's car towed from the side of the highway to their shop. He made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. When he assessed the problem he told me what needed to be done and the cost. He had an opportunity to take advantage of me but didn't. He told me that after the first repair was complete, there could be more based on what the computer code was coming back with. I agreed to have whatever is needed done. After the first repair, that took care of all issues and there wasn't anymore that needed to be done so the first price he gave me was the final price. Very honest and admirable. You guys who have been taken advantage of in the past know that's not always the case.They also completed the work in 1 day but he didn't like how the engine was idling so he kept there to make sure it adjusted correctly. Above and beyond service.I will definitely return here for all my auto needs and recommend them to anyone.
