Fantastic experience overall! These guys are amazingly quick and responsive. Craig was extremely helpful and got me out of a tight spot. My alternator went out on the way to work, and he helped me diagnose the problem over the phone. I was able to get the car into the shop at about 8:45 a.m., Craig provided me an estimate (which turned out to be spot on compared to what I was actually billed for), and he let me know that he would do his best to locate the parts necessary as quickly as possible. He had my car ready by lunch time (only 2.5 hours later). I will definitely be back whenever I have any car issues. Thanks for your help, Craig.

I had an issue with my electronic throttle body. Road Masters got me a last minute appointment and got me back on the road pretty quick for the size of the repair and how busy they were. They were great and the pricing was fair, highly recommend!

I had an intermittent headlight problem which they couldn't reproduce. So a couple of weeks later it was off again and I drove straight there to show them. We all laughed and they put us in front of another repair and fixed it. They also asked if I had a "feeling" about something else about to break in a couple of weeks! They are always great!

Craig was awesome at getting my car in and taking a look at it on a Friday, we needed to go home on Sunday! We had low oil pressure on our way to Dallas, a 5 hour drive, AND our A/C stopped blowing. (Great for a 105 degree day) He checked everything told me the pressure was within normal range for my car and that my Freon was low, which is why it froze up. They topped off my Freon and our drive home was much better and without incident! So glad they worked me in because the dealership I took it to first told me they could maybe look at it in a week or so. Thank you Craig!!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Air conditioning

I needed to have my car s routine maintenance completed. I didn t have a ride to pick me up after dropping off my car. Craig arranged to have this done at a time I could just wait for the work to be done, which was very convenient and a great time saver. They also discovered that my battery need to be replaced, which saved me from discovering one cold winter morning.

Steve at Road Masters came highly recommended, and I only wish I would have found him sooner. Fixed my A/C, then a few weeks later fixed my U joints. Could not be more happy. Fair rates and honest work. I've had a lot of problems with other mechanics in the past-- estimates that were way off, unnecessary work claimed needed to be done, and the general hard-sells for services I didn't come in for. Not these guys! I started going to Craig and Steve while they were working elsewhere before opening Road Masters, and I have no plans on going anywhere else.Craig and Steve have got to be the most certified, honest, and fairly-priced mechanics around; they'll tell it to you straight with no added fluff. I've had my cars in for service with them several times before; they'll give you a reasonable estimate, time frame for repair, and if the work is heavy will call you several times during the day with updates. No surprises! I recommend them to all my friends for their automotive needs. I love Roadmasters. I have been taking my car to Craig and Steve for several years now. They are so honest with their pricing and are so honest with upcoming maintenance repairs needed to be done on your car. I always make an appointment, as my repairs are normally scheduled maintenance. About a month ago, my car battery died and I was able to get it right into them in the same day. They fixed within a few hours, dispite being swamped. I have all my car repairs completed by Roadmasters from oil changes to car inspections to scheduled maintenance and car repair surprises. You can't go wrong with them and I highly recommend them for any car repair. They ALWAYS do a fantastic job and are so good to their customers!

We have used Craig and Steve's services for our cars for over 30 years. We would not take our cars to anyone else. We have one car with 300,000+ miles and still running great. Let me just start by saying that this was by far the best experience I've had with a mechanic and I'm extremely grateful that I found this shop. I have a Honda that was not starting up consistently so I searched around for a mechanic after going to a dealership and realizing that the cost of repairs were unreasonable. From the beginning when I first called about an estimate, Craig was so patient and thorough with providing one and making sure that he quoted me right. That gave me confidence in knowing he isn't in the business of taking advantage of people. I wasn't sure if I was going to just get rid of my car or get it fixed at this point because after the experiences I've had in the last year with dealing with Honda dealerships I wanted to get a new car and start over. However after talking with Craig and just having peace that he was going to do a good job I wanted to see about getting the starter replaced so I did. Even being a one man show this week, he answered all of my calls and questions. Made sure I understood what was happening and kept me updated on what was going on. Now my car is starting up as normal and I feel good about knowing that there are still great, honest and trustworthy mechanics out there! I'm definitely taking my car to Road Masters from now on! We've used their services for probably 25 years & have always found them to be extremely reliable, honest, and fair in pricing. A dealership wanted to replace the glove box for $1,000 and Craig got it unjammed and the price was $50. I trust them completely! They will give you honest opinions on whether it's worth the money to put into an old car or replace it. Road Masters has given excellent service on our two vehicles for 3 years now. They were recommended to us by a friend, so we went and checked them out. They do quality work, and they take the time to truly find the issue and give the proper fix. We have had several issues that are sporadic, and they have test driven the car multiple times to see if the issue could be replicated. I appreciate that they notice items that will need servicing before we do, but they have never pushed us to make a repair before we are ready. They simply give us the information and let us make the best decision for our budget and schedule. Additionally, if you call ahead they are honest and helpful in scheduling the best time for service. I highly recommend Road Masters. I took my truck to change the front glass, which the employees who did the work broke my dashboard, I complained to the lady at the desk (Stephanie) and apart from that she didn't even apologize, she still acted angry and I called her and he hung up on me... I personally do not recommend this place to anyone, they are unprofessional!! go elsewhere!!! for your sake!

first time here, and only got a state inspection, but I will definitely be back! I tried them because of the other good reviews, and my experience matched what others have said: friendly, professional, courteous. sometimes it's hard to find a shop that does good work but also doesn't try to see how much money they can get out of you at every visit. I will definitely try Road Masters the next time I need service

And double-DITTO to my previous reviews! When I called belatedly to make an appt for an inspection because the deadline to renew my vehicle registration was fast approaching, Craig advised me on the phone not to worry because I could take the inspection report to a local grocery store to get my new registration sticker rather than requesting it online or through the mail, which I didn't know.When I brought the car in, Steve took care of the oil change and inspection very quickly and for a less-than-anticipayed price -- always a nice surprize! He always adised me that I didn't really need the new windshield-waliper inserts I had requested -- there was just a build-up of window-washer fluid on the windshield, which he thoroughly cleaned off. And, as always, I can take the new registation sticker to Roadmasters to have them speedily affix it after removing the old one on-the-spot -- no waiting!DITTO to my last review below! Oil change was done in a timely manner on my Chevy Equinox and all three wiper blades were replaced. Great job, as usual!Steve and Craig are great mechanics, as well as great people! We have been using their services for many years, at both their current and prior locations. Most recently, they recharged the battery on Joe's Toyota Prius and advised him that he needed new tires. In the past, they have performed State inspections, replaced batteries, and completed general repairs and maintenance on both his Prius and my Chevy Equinox, as well as our previous Saturn station-wagon and Chevy Malibu. Their assessments are honest, and they are always pleasant, courteous, helpful, and do excellent work in a timely manner. Great guys own and run this place. Reliably work on several of my cars over many (10plus) years. I trust them to make sure my kids cars are safe. Haven t ever had a problem with one of their repairs or parts. Once they couldn t figure out was wrong and it was a no charge although the problem was fixed. Highly recommend!

So far they have fixed my crankshaft seal my serpentine belt bent pulley. Next they will be doing my power steering pump. They towed and put a new battery in for me and didn t even charge me for the tow they just added to my bill. Which was very reasonable! A friend had told me about Craig at Roadmasters Auto Services said he has known him for 30 years. It is so hard to find a good honest mechanic U feel very blessed. Very great shop and great service. Craig is very knowledgeable and fast. I had 4 messages showing on my dash that my had warning lights. He was able to diagnose and resolve them quickly and faster service then waiting in dealer waiting room. I would recommend you go to hims for car repairs and service. Conveniently located along Central in Richardson.

Quality, reliability and trust.Recently, I had an engine problem where the other shop was trying to scam me saying I need another engine. Craig was able to locate a problem quickly fix it and also clean up the mess of the other guys (who turned out spilled the oil everywhere). He also explained to me in a very detailed way what was wrong and how he is fixing it answering all my questions along the way. As a matter of fact, they provide a warranty on their repairs that gives an additional piece of mind. On another car, during the maintenance procedure, Steve noticed some small details such as water in the windshield washer fluid reservoir and changed it to the proper fluid to avoid damaging downstream pipes and mechanisms in an unusual cold weather as we have now for free. It highlights their care and attention to details.I have serviced both of my cars multiple times and they always identify and fix the cause of the problem (as compared to some other shops that play a "guess game"). They are also very patient and ready to explain/answer all the "why", "what", "how does it work" questions even if you're a newbie.I think that if nobody would be able to fix your car, the RoadMasters will. Craig helped me diagnose a flashing check engine light. He provided excellent feedback and educated me on the cause of the issue and the next steps to take. Another excellent job! I brought my truck in for service. Not only did they get to it promptly and do a great job, they caught and fixed an issue with my battery cable before it became a real problem. I have never had a single problem with any work they have done on my vehicles over the years. I highly recommend them to anyone.
