I had a great experience at Don Herring Mitsubishi Plano!! I came in to get my car inspected thinking I needed a 2 year inspection for my car. but the nice gentleman I talked to, Evan, let me know I should only need a one year inspection. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly! He led me inside to wait where they had complimentary coffee for customers, even though I wasn't a Mitsubishi owner. It didn't take very long and they even gave me a complimentary car wash too. To say I was wasn't expecting that is an understatement. Everyone was very nice including the cashier/office woman who run me up! it was definitely a great experience! and I will definitely be coming back for more services in the future.

It s been a week since we purchased our new 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander from Don Herring in Plano. Scott Fickert was our salesman. I can even begin to tell you how great the whole experience was. Scott was amazing. He knew everything about the Outlander. All the bells and whistles. I loved how he had a whole agenda to explain everything in detail. It was especially neat that we got Scott as our salesman. My dad had purchased 2 vehicles from Scott and had such glowing things to say about him. My dad has since passed away but I d like to think he s happy we went to Don Herring and that Scott sold us our new car.

I bought a 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer from a used lot in Wiley Texas. And unfortunately on the day that I was shopping for the car I really didn't have a lot of time and was only put in a rental car for 4 days from the insurance company of the party I was in an accident with. A few days after purchasing the Lancer I noticed that in acceleration at low speeds it felt as if my transmission was slipping and I noticed that the maintenance needed like came on. I took it to Don Herring for their evaluation and opinion as well as advice on what needs to be fixed and tended to. They got me right into a bay and spent at least an hour and a half assessing my car. And gave me a full list of items that should be tended to over a reasonable amount of time. I am very happy with the service and courtesy that they provided for me and intend to get my car worked on at their dealership. It s rare I share a personal experience online however my recent experience at this dealership I felt compelled. I submitted an application via online sharing interested in a vehicle. I was then contacted by BRENDAN who stated I was approved and he himself spoke to his manager and mentioned it was the end of the month and had a great deal for me. I was obviously excited over the approval but before heading that way I kept asking him what my monthly dues would be that way we both had an understanding. Brendan kept deviating from the question and just stated it s best you come in and make sure you pick your options. After a long back and fourth conversation i decided to make the 1hr commute and make a deal. Well, upon arrival I was advised Brendan isn t even a sales associate. He s only an appointment setter? I was then transferred to Yvonne who was nice unfortunately showed me absurd monthly payments for a vehicle. In the end I left without a vehicle and most importantly she gave me her word she would call me back before the end of day. That never happened

Great experience! Was able to walk out with the SUV I wanted and it all took a whole lot less time than other dealerships do. Also Jeffery (even with being brand new) was great to work with, very nice and went above and beyond by helping me get my car I came to the dealership in back home after purchasing my new Outlander.

I received the most courteous welcome and my whole overall experience was excellent. My salesperson Scott Fickert was outstanding and a total pleasure. I felt very safe and confident during my time spent with him. He worked very hard to give me the best offer and to leave confident that I had made the right decision in choosing Don Herring Mitsubishi. I was treated like a valued client from the minute I entered their building. Scott made the experience personal rather than treating me as just another person interested in a new vehicle. His personality shines through his commitment to Mitsubishi but at the same time to realise his customer receives the best possible outcome of their visit to his showroom.His follow-up in the days after I went home with my new car made me feel that Mitsubishi/Don Herring/Scott wanted my decision to purchase a new car to be a memorable and safe buying experience. I'm sure all the sales personnel are as committed but having the luck to have Scott was a bonus as far as I am concerned.Making such a serious commitment as a new car was enhanced but his caring, professional, fun personality. Carlos was absolutely amazing. His communication skills were absolutely amazing, answered all of my questions, and he even delivered it to me! He drove from Dallas all the way to East Bernard, that s south of Houston!!! I appreciate and am blessed with the efforts that Don Herring and Carlos have brought forth! Extremely professional. Just had the most wonderful experience here at Don Herring Mitsubishi in Plano. Yvonne Rodriguez and her Gm Brett Cantrell went above and beyond for us and worked with us to find the deal that was best suited for us when we came in today. I would recommend that you go see her and I will continue to use them for any future needs that i may have. I would recommend them to anyone. Just really nice people and I couldn't have had a better experience.

I usually don t go to the dealership for service but had to have a recall done. It was time for my routine maintenance so I had them do it while I was there. They weren t pushy with their suggested maintenance options and the prices were very competitive. I will be coming back again.

Wow! My experience with this dealership was quite miraculous. I came in having no idea what I wanted to do besides possibly trading in my used car for something else used. To begin with, all of my pressing questions were answered by Vigo and his manager Domingo. I came back and eventually was able to trade in my used car for a brand new Outlander with the amazing help of Carlos. This was no ordinary deal! I had to be on the road with my new vehicle within a few days from the approval but had a few things tying it up. Nevertheless, the representatives such as Bret and Shake who were all so gracious and worked really well together in helping me to do just that by making the process super easy! I m really grateful I was able to purchase from here in the time frame that I did. I highly recommend you do the same if you re looking to be in good hands for any of your car trade-in needs

Mitsubishi's service department was a pleasant experience. We were greeted courteously. We were explained what was going to happen. We were updated often so we knew what was going on. It took longer than usual so we were offered a shuttle to get some thing to eat. Mitsubishi Plano is a bit out of our way but we think it is worth it.

My service advisor was Evan Jacobs. He kept me informed on my ordered parts & was able to get the part in &repair completed 3 weeks early!!!!!! Yay Evan. The technician was Ken Harris. I did not meet him but he did agreat job. The car is running great!!

Bad buying experienceShowed up to buy a Pre-Owned vehicle which I did end up buying because wasn t another around and I was looking for a certain one (type color trim etc..)Vehicle was dirty in and out I cleaned ASAP when I got home, they tried to wash the outside but was half job.Vehicle advertised different prices for the car wasn t until I mentioned the price I saw online that they honored that.Then the vehicle supposedly had a 180 point inspection (idk if that s what it s called somewhere among those words)Then the following week the wheels vibrated at higher speeds I took it in and BMW of Arlington told me wheels weren t balanced or were missing weights and a lose bolt on control arm, all fixed for free by dealership because nobody at the dealership would answer questions I had with my warranty for the car that I purchased with THEM got answers for my questions 3-4 days later. now I have past my 45-60 license plate period (bought car 12/16/23) have called 3 times and they gave me the same answer I got 2 weeks ago which was something relating the tax office. 2 people around me have also bought cars at other dealerships and have received tags/plates already (after my purchase date)

We drove to the dealership in Plano Texas, because the car that we wanted was there and we had to flip a coin to us choose on a color. All the staff were very friendly and thoughtful. Introducing us to everyone made us feel welcome. The salesman was not pushy or eager to sell a vehicle. He was not trying to sell us a car and we really weren t even looking to buy, we didn t need a car. We had two vehicles paid off in full however, one car was creeping up on mileage and the other vehicle was 16 years old but still ran great so we didn t need a car but it s like if we could get our trade dollars we wanted it would make the car less than $20,000 for a 2024 outlander so it seemed perfect until it wasn t. we are out of state so the Don Herring Mitsubishi advantage plan is not adventitious to us at all because it s a five hour round-trip plus our time to be able to utilize it and the salesman would not ask because he said the answer is no and so he s not gonna go make a show of talking to his manager.The advantage plan is tied to the dealership and it s in the addendum to the window sticker. It s even on its separate sticker on the car it s not tied into miss Mitsubishi. The charge was $1495 and then all weather garments 200 The delivery of the car was a big disappointment as the salesman said he would take it to the make ready and get a tank of gas. They would wash the car and remove the stickers when the car was ready in 30 minutes I knew they had not washed it, dried it even waxed it to give it that shine because it had a dull even though it was a color with pearl finishes would ve come back us the second day to pick up the car if they needed to keep it overnight to detail it and have it make ready for us but they said no and only takes 30 minutes and I know that something that takes about four hours. I bought 25 cars in my lifetime. I ve never had one delivered in 30 minutes or even under an hour. Whenever I mentioned to delivery still so dirty and it had not been washed. it is Plano and it is just dusty Where is the water draining on the ground through the weep holes in the doors you know there wasn t no water had touched the car And I asked them to take it back and we come back to stair Wednesday to pick it up. They said no there s nothing different they would do.so the advantage plan was forced on us: Adding another $1495 to the window sticker price and the Allweather mats another $275. So an additional almost $1800 that I could ve used somewhere else or to help someone went to a top-heavy dealership. They didn t take any accommodations that we would never use the advantage plan because we live five hours round-trip from their location. It s good for local people to get a rock chip fixed for free and door dings for free except it s not free. You pay $1495 so it s very misleading so I will not be returning to this dealership because it doesn t benefit me. It would benefits local people in and near Plano Texas. Don Herring Mitsubishi I give a C minus for their tone deafness for an out-of-state buyers. And where we live the nearest dealership is 104 miles away the same distance as Plano but our state did not offer and was not participating in 0% financing for 60 months that is the only reason we went out of state because Texas was participating in the programOur sales person who is like a friend to us after spending four hours with him on our 40th wedding anniversary. His score is A+ because of his attentiveness and his lack of being pushy. I would buy a car from any dealer where he was employed if that were in Oklahoma.There should be some kind of accommodations made for out of state buyers who will not use your advantage . They aren t even anything to do with the car but it s your dealership that hold people hostage to something they fallen in like with and then at the salesman s table there s no negotiating. They just there s no wiggle room for negotiation so that was disappointing . I won t return. The dealership is padding, the window sticker for out of state buyers.

3 stars because Jesse, our sales guy s customer service was great, he was a cool guy, but we fell for the usual bait & switch . Got pre-approved before we came, and was told zero down, got there, and was all of a sudden we need money down and a different co-signer so, not a great experience.

I cannot give five stars due to the techs taking longer than what was estimated. The service overall was professional, courteous, and attention to my vehicles needs were met. The free car wash made my vehicle dirtier than when I arrived. That part of the service I can do without.

The mechanics are certainly well-trained on Mitsubishis, but the service is advertised as offering a car wash and fluid top-off for free. I just checked the coolant level and it's under the "low " line! They didn't mention it. They couldn't even add water to the windshield fluid reservoir. In addition, the water they use for "washing" the cars is extremely dirty. The car looked worse than when I brought it in, especially the windshield, with many white spots. Very disappointing service. Nice waiting area.
