Brakes Plus (Coit @ Parker - Plano) 1-4-2023Referred with flyer (had a discount coupon) from two different Discount Tire locations. Needed wheel alignment on my 2017 Ford Escape. Called first to see if they could do caster / camber on my vehicle. (Some shops can t.) Call with Jeff Houston was perfectly executed. No nonsense. Gave pricing up front on phone and setup appointment for a couple of hours later as the afternoon was pretty clear and good for me too. Came in and was greeted warmly. Great customer skills. Technically, I was very impressed. They knocked out the work but attention to detail and discussion of findings was the best! They gave documentation on state before and after repair and did a thorough inspection and test drive to make sure I would not have to return for rework.This is one of the best auto repair experiences I ve had in many years. I own a number of vehicles and have struggled to find a reliable and trustworthy mechanical repair facility. I m sold on this Brakes Plus location.Also reviewed the posted prices for basic services and they are very competitive.Kudos to Jeff & Skip (the service advisors.) they were extremely helpful and knew their stuff.Bobby did the mechanical work and again I m delighted with his communication as well as professionalism.Brakes Plus (Coit @ Parker - Plano)**************Highly Recommend**************

Appreciate the great service, care, and transparent conversation regarding my vehicle. No ones loves paying for car maintenance or repairs but at least you can rest assured they will take care of you at this location. The GM Jeff is very friendly and understanding!

I have stumbled across a lot of poor mechanic shops so I was not expecting the level of service that Jeff Houston and his team has provided me. It was a GREAT customer experience from A to Z. Jeff instantly let us know he was going to take care of us and even asked what time we expected for the service to be completed....like who does that?! I told him by 12:00pm and he called me around 11:50am and told me my car was done. I wish I could give them 10 stars. AMAZING!!!!

I stopped by this AM after getting 4 new tires. I asked for an all-wheel alignment and oil change. Jeff, the General Manager, greeted me promptly and recognized me as a regular. This Brakes Plus location is my go-to for all my vehicle PM. They do an excellent job on my SUV, are friendly and efficient. I trust their team for my vehicle needs.

My brakes were making sounds and needed repair. My sister recommended brakes plus because she has her vehicle serviced here. I arrived and spoke with Jeff Houston. He provided EXCELLENT customer service the entire time. He checked the brakes, and reviewed the estimate with me.I was completely satisfied with the service and repair. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location and will re- visit for all my repair needs on my Lexus RX 350.

I was a bit leary about going to a national chain service center just based on past experiences. Jeff and the team at the Plano location on Coit set all my worries at ease. They provided a thorough and honest estimate and didn t try to gouge me to have unnecessary work done. They gave recommendations for other needed services with a realistic timeframe in which to complete. Jeff was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and provided an exceptional service experience. I will definitely be back again!

I went to this location as it is close to my job and am so glad I did. Lori was super sweet getting me checked in and Jeff Houston was super helpful and kind. He explained my brake needs in detail and showed me so I had a better understanding of what the pads and rotors looked. Thank you both so much for a great experience and such great customer service. I will definitely recommend you guys to my friends!

I ve been coming to this location for years and they always have GREAT customer service. The auto mechanics do excellent work. Jeff and Skip answer all my questions I have about my vehicle. I recommend this Brake s Plus location to everyone who needs complete auto service.

I called to get my brakes done and was told that the shop was going to close so I would never call back another working day. I immediately received a phone call back and was told to bring my car in.I came in and Angelo repaired my brakes, rotors, and all that extra jazz. Thank you Angelo and your workers for staying later than the opening hours to squeeze me in and work on my car. My car feels good as new!

5 Stars absolutely the best service ever . My breaks were absolutely worn out. Jeff was very professional and knowledgeable about the services I needed . He explained to me what was recommended and also help me stay within my budget . I also received an oil change in a timely manner . They really took care of me here and made me feel welcome . I will definitely recommend my family and friends . Thank you guys again .

Everyone here was very friendly and super helpful! Lori, at the front was very welcoming and made the whole process smooth. Jeff and Raymond who worked on my vehicle showed me exactly what was wrong and gave me great maintenance tips. Overall was a great experience! Definitely will be coming back here!!

Came here on 3304 Coit Rd, Plano, TX 75023 however not happy with the experience. First I was told it will take 30 minutes before my turn but it took 2 hours before anyone came to give me any update. Also they knew the make and year of my car but after 2 hours they come and tell me they can't do the alignment for all four tires (but charged me full price) as Honda does not come with adjusters in back tires (which they install for more than $600). Save yourself from being dissatisfied when it comes to car alignment. I'm sad to have this experience as overall reviews were good.

Skip and Jeff took excellent care of me during my recent visit for multiple car repairs. They were very clear on what repairs needed to be done and what could wait. Extremely trustworthy team (which is rare for a car repair shop). I highly recommend this shop and will be back for any car repair & maintenance needs I have in the future.

I had a very unique issue on a wheel stud with my spacer that was broken from another shop. The tech used precision skill and a torch to remove the stud and not damage my wheel! Jeff Houston, the General Manager had great customer service skills and bent over backwards to make a bad situation remedied. I will be coming back with all of my auto needs.

Once again today September 16, 2023 another amazing experience. Today it was Jeff. From the time we drove up until we picked the car up was pleasurable. Jeff called with the update and the car was ready before the time promised. Thank you again Jeff for providing a great experience.Please use this location for you car needs. See Jeff!I am standing behind my previous post.Glad I stumbled on this place.John Detweiler & the GM Brad Kallembach understands what customer satisfaction is all about. I observed them interact with 5 customers while I was there. They treat all with respect young old black white it was all about the customer.The reason I went was just brakes now pep boys will not honor the lifetime warranty. What a blessing that has been. As the second Female Harlem Globetrotter, I went into this location, not making it known who I am until services were completed. This is intentional to gage the services provided to everyone, from all walks of life, from the establishment.I went in for a wheel alignment, they told me I could go eat at a chicken spot behind them. I was hungry and thoght I had a 30 to 45 minute wait. Ten minutes later the lady who worked at the front desk walked in where I was eating and told me my wheel alignment was completed. My replie was" I'm 61 years old, and I have never heard of or ever known a wheel alignment to be done in only 10 minutes".I drove off without them giving me a print out of the alignment, she stated that there printer wasn't printing. Later that evening or the next day, after, I mentioned who I was, the lady who worked at the front desk texted me a printout.The wheel alignment was done horribly! My car was all over the rode with the worst driving comfort of a Lexus. I went back, and they said it was a tire that was causing the problem. All 4 tires were new, 1 set a year old.A long story shortened, I went to Firestone then to Brakes Plus in Wyley, referred by Firestone down the Street from firerstone. Both of them gave me printouts showing my Lexus RX 350 was in fact, out of alignment; which, I already knew my wheel alignment was done incorrectly; deceitful! And, it didn't take 10 minutes for both Firestone and Brakes Plus to inspect my car, it took about an hour for each of them. Never once did I feel like I was being lied to, or had a feeling of deceitfulness; unlike what I felt twice at Brake Plus in Plano; on Coit Rd.Brake Plus in Wyley did an awesome wheel alignment, my Lexus is driving straight, no more vibration and I can feel the smooth ride of my Lexus. Thank you Brakes Plus in Wyley!If you don't want your tires or suspension damaged. Don't Ever get a wheel alignment in Plano at the Coit location! I DONT TRUST THEM and I will never return there for nothing!And lastly, to Brake Plus in Plano, Coit Rd, for future reference, " you never know who will walk into you door that will not allow you to get away with what you do"! Hope you learn and do differently because of this experience.Jackie White

Rich and Jeff were the technicians that worked on my car and his work was great. They changed my oil and did the tire alignment. I also had interactions with the General Manager, Brad, and Rae, and both were very professional and nice. I was able to make an appointment, so I didn t have to wait long for the services on my car to be completed (thanks to Rae).I can compliment this group enough! My car wouldn t start yesterday so I called them and had it towed there and they replaced the starter that day. I had my brakes done last week. Everyone there has always been easy to work with and helpful. I had brought it to the dealership once and they cleaned the fuel injection, then within the year I had the same problems and Brakes Plus had to clean the fuel injection again and they added the PVC valve etc. which should have been done the first time. I am very happy with there work.

I cannot recommend this Brakes Plus highly enough! I have used this shop since moving to Plano 7yrs ago for all maintenance and oil changes my car has needed. I have ALWAYS received exceptional service and the staff is so pleasant and knowledgeable.My most recent experience was 12/21 when I decided to take my 2014 Hyundai Elantra in for a recommended tuneup. Lori, the service tech on the desk greeted me and said the service would take about 2hrs and she d call a Lyft for me.Another customer entered and I was in no hurry so I insisted Lori help him and I d wait for the call for the Lyft. While I waited I watched as this customer became more and more aggressive with Lori, trying to intimidate her into giving him a discount he said he received at another shop. At no time did Lori lose her professional demeanor in handling the customer. Ultimately, another service tech came to the desk and reiterated that a further discount was not available on his car oil change and they would be happy to complete the oil change on his vehicle as Lori had offered. I was glad to see the level of professionalism displayed during this situation. It just reconfirmed the staff integrity at Brakes Plus. Kudos to Lori!!Lori, and mechanic Greyson. also hung in there with me following this service when I continued to have problems with the idle/engine. Ultimately it proved NOT to be related to the tuneup BUT to a bad tank of gas! Problem resolved and since my tuneup my car runs like new!! Highly recommend!

5 stars for quality customer service from both Jeff (manager) and Josh (technician). I had taken my vehicle to another location, 3 times with no resolution. Jeff/Josh located at (3304 Coit Rd) got it right! The problem has been resolved. I will be coming to this location from now on.

I came here today because I was frantic! Underneath my hood was smoking. Bobby fixed the problem and Skip helped. This is a great place for single women or people who do not know a lot about cars. Heads up to the both of them!!!

Here's a another shout out to Brakes Plus. Though I have been to several of their locations, I am now back to the first Brakes Plus store I originally started with on Coit near Parker in Plano, Texas. Jeff Houston is the General Manager and Lori Zorn is a Service Manager of this location. Yesterday, they did an excellent job with wheel alignments on both of my 2021 Nissan Rogues. I use them for many different issues when they come up including brakes, oil changes, etc. Both Jeff and Lori were knowledgeable, professional, pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend them and this Brakes Plus store!!

Had a great experience here. Dropped off car to be checked out and they called to let me know the codes showed issues with transmission. They said I should bring it to a transmission shop rather than to them since all they could do is replace the transmission. I appreciate the honesty and not just saying I need to replace my transmission. I ll be back here for sure!
