My daughter was at this place for a safety inspection. Quickly turned into a complete up-sale taking advantage of a young inexperienced girl. The technician Tina quoted 912.18 to repair what they are not sure if it s a leaking power steering unit or hoses. I am sure the State has guidelines that are need to be followed. Apparently did not catch this issue a month ago. Unfortunately it was inspected by Firestone a month ago. The only up sale then was to clean the headlights, charging her about two hundred dollars. Auto shops like this give honest repair shops a bad name. Tryin to take advantage of inexperience women. Will never give Firestone any business again.

Bought tractor tires online and was scheduled to have them mounted by this Firestone. They weren't big tires. 8" wide going on 16" rims. My truck tires are much bigger and heavier duty. When I arrived for my appointment the lady at the register said that she had looked at the tires and decided that they looked too thick and so she was not going to try to mount them on her equipment. I ended up taking them to Discount Tire and they had them mounted in a matter of 20 minutes. I guess Discount Tire has better equipment than Firestone, so I would suggest going to Discount Tire and not stress the manager out at Firestone that her equipment might not be good enough.

After hearing they treated my sister pretty fairly when she had an issue with her Nissan I went over and unfortunately didn t have the same experience. Raked me for 130 bucks to tell me what I already knew which was I had a bad oil pressure switch. They were gonna charge me another 250-270 to replace it. Less than an hour of labor and it s a $50-80 dollar part. This was apart from the diagnostic of $130. I get there s overhead but this place is charging too much and gave me no fair warning of diagnostic charges. Most honest places wave the diagnostic charges or at least discount them if you do work with them. He was not going to do that so I cut my losses. Most of my beef was with the service manager there today, the rest of staff is friendly and straightforward

Everything was great!The staff was very friendly and accomodating.The work (truck alignment) was finished ahead of time and the paperwork showing the before and after was very helpful.The mechanic/tech also had great notes on some concerns seen during the service.

Long wait times even with an appt. (2 1/2 hrs) Broke my key, (said it broke when they turned on the ignition.) No offer to replace it. Came in for flat repair and oil change. Tire wasn't fixable ,so had to replace, I had the protection plan. Total cost for visit $189!!!! Was not expecting that much! Every visit there had been long waits and expensive, very disappointed!

They handled my truck and though I thought I might get one more rotation from the existing tires, they were too worn to get a good alignment. Happy with the service and price of product and services.

I made an appointment to fix my car. I got there super early. The person at the front didn't even greet me when I walked in- she just looked annoyed when I said good morning. They had already canceled my appointment and very casually said I could leave my car for a few days if I wanted to... until the following week! No empathy, no courtesy. Never coming here again.

Absolute horrible service. I scheduled my appointment for 4pm for an alignment and new tires. Handed my keys over at 3:55. My vehicle sat in the parking lot for an hour while I could see techs walking around, talking and laughing. Finally at 4:55 I asked why my truck was still sitting and I got an excuse of them being busy . But they somehow instantly had someone to pull my vehicle into the bay. They said the service would be about 40 minutes. It took almost 2 hours. Finally left at 7pm.When I got my vehicle back, I didn t get any paperwork stating what adjustments were done with the alignment. The steering wheel was not centered anymore (didn t notice until I was driving away). Finally 2 days later I realize the silver letter inserts for my center cap were missing. I called up there and asked if they could remedy this, they said I would have to wait till said tire tech came back in. Tried calling up there again only to get met with endless ringing.I don t think they even deserve 1 star with this atrocious service. Now I m buying a new center cap and getting another alignment done elsewhere because I don t trust their work.-12/10. Would not recommend.

I advised my wife to go here when I was over the road, considering area of Location I felt I could trust this place, never again.It'd rained last night, regardless, guess the situation here.You can still tell what ls original and what's not, ppl take pictures before and after for comparison. For better service and workmen ship take it to Break check.

I ve been here twice. One time, I arrived in a frantic because my car was yelling at me and it was supposed to be fixed at another Firestone. They were very nice and empathic. They check their work and get the job done! Thank you!!!

Don t waste your time or money here and if you make an appointment, be prepared to wait a lot longer than they tell you. Had an appointment, told me the whole process would take 1.5 hr, but actually had me wait 2 hrs 45 min before they even put my car in the pit just to get it inspected to check for bulb replacement. Then charges me $105 (which is already discounted bc of the wait) just for them to adjust wires and not replace a bulb. They will overcharge you and find every reason to get you to spend your money. Told me I need my tpms batteries replaced for $150 each when I knew in my head I could get that done for $60 each at Discount Tire.

Completely incompetent and unreliable. Staff is courteous and apologetic but nothing changes here. I ve been disappointed for the last time with this place despite its close proximity to where I live and positive experiences with other Firestone locations. These guys can t seem to commit to scheduled appointments. Last straw was yesterday when we had a scheduled vehicle check before a long distance road trip. Appointment was at 2:30 and I reiterated when making the appointment that we had to pick it up that night as we d be leaving first thing next morning. Was told no problem they had us down for 2:30. Dropped car off and at 4:40 we got a message saying they were backed up and couldn t get to it and could we leave it overnight. We called back to say that wasn t possible. They said they d do their best. Picked it up at 7:00 pm at closing and work we asked to get done did not get done. They left us in a real bind. I wish this was a one off but I ve had other poor experiences with lack of communication, techs not available, issues not resolved, appointments and commitments not met and yesterday was the last straw. Don t bother wasting your time at this establishment. Despite being friendly,they just can t seem to get it together. You will be frustrated and disappointed!

Customer service is so bad here, just that alone makes me want to never go back. You can tell that the service writers do not want to be there and have an awful attitude. The lack of communication is unbelievable. Also if you'd like your vehicle back at reseasonable time. I highly suggest you go somewheres else. Even for the simplest thing your car will be in the shop all day.

If I could give this location zero stars I would. I needed to have a simple oil change with tire rotation and state inspection. I called on a Saturday to see what the walk-in wait time would be for the services I wanted. They told me that it would be 3-4 hours so I made an appointment for the following Wednesday instead, which they told me they would have me in and out in 1-1.5hrs.When I arrived for my appointment they told me they were an hour behind, which I get happens, but I waited over three hours for them to even touch my car. I've never had this issue at the San Marcos location and am usually in and out. I would rather drive the extra distance and keep going to the San Marcos location than come to the New Braunfels location again.What is the point of making an appointment if you cannot maintain your schedule? That is asinine.

Don't waste your time here. I had an appointment for 8am to get my a/c checked using the coupon you can get online. Got there on time. The lady tells me the a/c guy won't be there until 10am, but no worries, I can get an oil change while I wait. I don't need an oil change, I need my a/c checked, AND I have an 8am appointment specifically for that. When I asked to speak to the manager, she says 'I'm the owner'. If I wanted an appointment at 10, I would have made an appointment at 10. If the a/c guy doesn't get there until 10, then they shouldn't take appointments for an a/c check until then. Beyond frustrating. Bad business. Will never go back.

Outstanding 1st time experience. Made appt for alignment that the Toyota dealership told me needed to get done with my 2003 Toyota 4Runner. Firestone NB put it thru the tests and digital printout showed my vehicle didn't require an alignment all areas within the recommended limits. No work needed. I had a lifetime alignment plan from Firestone that I purchased many years ago so inspection was also N/C. Everyone was friendly. Explained everything very well to me. I'll definitely will go back when my 4Runner needs maintenance.

Drove my truck in with a coolant leak and they replaced the intake manifold. Drove it off the lot and didn t make it a block before it wouldn t move when I pressed the accelerator. Barely made it back to the store and they say they can t diagnose the problem and won t fix it because they didn t cause the problem. It s been on their lot for THREE months while we play phone tag with various levels of management. Corporate won t even answer or return a call.I drove it there and it won t run now. And they didn t do anything to it. Other than possibly hydrolocking the engine causing no telling what other damage.

3 appointments made. Each time short on techs and would be 3 plus hours to replace my in-stock tire under warranty. Still have not had the tire replaced.

I made an appointment over a week in advance for A/C work. I called the day before to confirm drop off time and was told their mechanic went on vacation, and if I dropped my car off nobody would get to it for 6 days until he came back. Odd to me that nobody let me know the person who I had an appointment with was gone, nor did they try to reschedule. Weird. There are better places in NB!Service: Air conditioning

The customer service here is top notch. After being mislead by a different Firestone location and breaking down in the middle of a road trip, Firestone New Braunfels took me as a walk in and quickly got me the service I needed. Ash and Isom both took the time to talk through the issues with me and to work me into an already packed schedule for the weekend. They got me back on the road two days earlier than initially expected. I highly recommend this location.

Left the vehicle for an oil change and to have a tire with a slow leak checked. I was told that it would be a couple of hours. I tried to call numerous times and got no answer, so I drove down. 5 hours later and they had not even gotten to the car, in fact there was still a car ahead of mine. They asked me to leave it over the weekend. I asked them to at least get all the tires to the right pressure. 15 minutes later they gave me the key back and all the tires were over inflated 5 - 8 pounds. Also I watched the rep at the counter totally ignore the phone three times while I was waiting.Services: Tires, Oil change

Made a appointment to have new tire put on my truck two weeks in advance. Showed up early and checked in. Was told it would be done In a hour. 50 minutes later my truck still hadn t been touch. Walking around while we waited none of the employees other than the ones answering the phones were working.When I questioned them on why it still wasn t being worked on I was told they were waiting for someone to be free to work on it.I guess the 4 employees that were just standing around doing nothing were to busy to work.Won t recommend or use this company again. Back to discount tire where we should of went in the first place.

I wouldn't go here. Made a delivery across the street at by shell asking for directions. They told the guy with the White car they would be starting on his car immediately. As soon as he left, the mechanic went on break. Bunch of liars.

Do yourself a favor and NEVER GO to this Firestone. They will make you wait for hours and hours only to find nothing was done to your car or they broke something that they will not admit. I asked for alignment as well and diagnostic but no paperwork was given and they overcharge us with a preliminary deposit that does not even make any sense at all. THIS FIRESTONE IS A SCAM. I REPEAT THIS FIRESTONE IS A SCAM. Their mechanics are rude and they will take advantage of you. I will never go back at this place ever again. -20/5 star which they do not deserve.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment

I brought my car into the Firestone to check my brakes. A person from Firestone called me a couple of hours later and told me that my warranty would not cover the work and told me the out of pocket. I said I did not want the service and came and picked up my car later in the day. Apparently they rotated my tires at no charge which I did not approve. I just paid someone else to rotate my tires a few days ago. When I called to complain to the Firestone location the man there told me I must have approved the work when I know I didn't. He then offered to rotate my tires back at no charge later in the week. I am upset that I have to waste my time to come and have my tires rotated again when I didn't authorize this in the first place.

Totally the best place to take your vehicle's to get the job done right. They also offer veteran discounts! I won't trust anyone else with my vehicle's! If you want the best care for your vehicle this is the place!
