This started as a great business with great service and reasonable prices. Now they try to up sell you and pricing has shot through the roof. I bought a tire one day as we were leaving town. I went back a week later bought another and was told tires went up and paid $40 more. The next month I bought 2 of the same tire in north Waco for $125 cheaper than dads charged me. They also told me the brake rotors were cracking and tried to sell me a brake job. I took car to deal for oil change asked about the rotors and they said brakes and rotors are fine- dads has a service manager just looking to sell sell sell

Just had two seatbelts replaced. I am a DV and the owner drove to Houston to pickup the parts. It cost less than half what the dealer was charging. Quick, friendly service. Quite pleased.

Wow they replaced tie rod bushings and transmission speed control sensor on my 2005 Dodge Cummings 2500. Truck was in at 8:30 am and completely finished by 2:00 pm. They have no sad stories about staffing or hard to get part issues. They just do what they say and at a fair price. I actually paid less then there estimated quote. I was on my way to Mesquite, Texas and I stopped in Temple to get coffee. While pulling out, something got into my tire. My dash singles starting going off and alerting me to the fact that the tire was losing air. I called my daughter with my location and she started looking up locations on route where I could get the tire fixed. She found Dad's Quick Lube. I might add, that the tires were brand new. The guy running the place said the tire was beyond repair and I would have to buy a new tire. I felt like I had to go along with it because I was in the middle of no where. So, 168 dollars later, I was down the road. When I got back home to Wimberley, Texas, the guy at my tire store fix the beyond repair tire and put it back on my truck. You make the call

Returning to Austin from Wisconsin. Got a flat outside of Waco. No spare. Dad's. quickly got a new tire to fit my 17 inch wheel and installed it in a jiff.Fabulous and reasonable.

Our family just moved here from out of State so we went into Dad s Quick Lube and Auto Repair for a Vehicle Inspection. Their customer service was just as wonderful as their professionalism. I was very impressed with how kind they were upon us arriving (and throughout our visit) to how fast and thorough the inspection was. We will now ALWAYS use their services for any repairs or maintenance that our vehicle will need in the future! Very happy customer! Thank ya ll so much!

I ve never had a bad experience here. I have had them recommended by almost every person I asked, and when I have been there the service is top-notch.Last time I was there I was with a friend picking up his truck. He s done some front end suspension work himself, replacing parts. One was too much for him to handle. Not only were they able to get the work done quickly, but they also noticed another issue with the assembly, fixed it, and didn t charge. They are looking out for your safety, not a quick buck.

Recommendation of this establishment and what a disaster. Took vehicle for an oil change on 9/16/2022 and upon looking at the windshield sticker, noticed incorrect weight of general manufacturer weight and inquired about it and was advised it's recommended weight, which clearly it is not. Manufacturer requires the recommendation weight due to a slight variance of velocity could blow the engine. Oil cap is stamped in plain sight of required weight of oil. Was sitting in the waiting area and do you think the mechanic stepped out to tell me what he had performed. NO HE DID NOT. In addition, this shop indicated mileage was 9,832 less than actual mileage of last performance of a reputable competitor. If you can't be honest about the simple mileage and weight of your work, that's a problem. The owner was very defensive of me inquiring about my concern. Mentioned he had performed 100's of weight changes and never had a problem. Well this vehicle is from a million dollar establishment with million of oil ADDED to the engines, and they are knowledgeable of vehicle specifications.Have all past and present invoices and if engine blows, guess what, we going to court, good buddy. LADIES DO NOT GO TO DAD's, simple smile from the adversary.Service: Vehicle maintenance

I recently started working in Lorena and I went to this place out of convenience and now I ve been a loyal customer for 2 years and take my car as well as my husbands there. Lorena is fortunate to have this shop available to us and others near Lorena. Regardless of what the problem is big or small. The owners Micah and Lisa are more than willing to accommodate. Like every service related business unexpected issues can and will come up. As well as, having a backlog of work. I promise if you give them a chance to earn your business you will be thankful and will also return. If the job is going to take a little time you can wait in their lobby or even better stop in at the Keith Ace Hardware next door. See you soon!

My axel broke on my car an hour in a half away from home. I had my car towed to the company the day before the opened. They were so nice and professional. They fixed my axel, changed my oil because I had too much, and did an alignment. The original price quoted ended up changing to less than what we thought it would be. My car rides so much better! I had no idea my axel was even bad. I was told the shaking was from bad struts by another mechanic. I will drive an hour in a half to have them work on my car again! Thank you guys for professionalism and welcoming attitude. Thank you even more for being honest about my car and the work done.

I went in to get an inspection so I could register two vehicles. The inspection was done, and I told Lisa that I had to go home and get on the computer to do the registrations, and that it made me so nervous and so anxious that I could hardly do it. I am 78 and not computer literate. She offered to do it, and in 10 minutes had it all done. These are the nicest, most helpful people you will find and I believe they are here to stay in a business that will last. I recommend them to everyone. This couple is like people used to be when I was a kid. They help you in every way they can, and I've seen several instances of that, their word is their bond, and they have old time values seldom seen today. Lorena is blessed to have this couple and their business.

These guys are the best! I had car trouble along I35 on my way to Austin, and pulled into their shop for help. They were very friendly and extremely thorough! Definitely an honest group of people, and I highly recommend them if you're in the area. They were so great that I'm tempted to drive the 83 miles back anytime I need work done on my car! Can't say enough nice things about the folks at Dad's Quick Lube & Automotive Repair. I hope good things happen to them because they deserve it. Go see them!

This place is great. Micha and his team have always been friendly. They get the job done quickly and have fair prices. I've not ever had to wait long, and if my dog is with me they don't mind. They do state inspections, brakes, oil changes, etc. Yes, y'all should stop by.

The lady who works the front desk is super nice, and very friendly. Couple months ago. I got my car and truck inspection done here and instead of paying twice she just let me pay when both vehicles were done. She is a good representative of this small company!

Great service! I had a tire that needed to be replaced ASAP, of course they are a repair shop so that is a service they will provide but I wanted to highlight how welcoming and nice the staff was.

I had negotiated repair at another shop. Due to unfortunate events, the other shop was unable to complete the work. The local parts shop, Carquest, recommended Dad's. They squeezed me in and took care of the problem. They were professional and capable. I think I've found my new repair shop.

What a great local shop! The owners are super to deal with and very honest. Micah and his sweet wife Lisa work hard to earn your business and back up their work. The prices are fair and the work is amazing. If you are looking for a good shop to trust, give them a try. Invest in local shops. Good decision.

This little mom and pop shop is by far one of the best auto shops I have ever been to. The gentleman that seems to be in charge is super friendly, highly knowledgeable, and is always ready to offer up a solution to whatever problem you seem to have. Very pleased with this place, and would highly recommend it to anyone with car troubles.

Christmas price gouging! No estimate given prior to completing the work. They charged $70 labor to replace the bulb and harness in my headlight which takes less than 5 to 10 minutes to change. I (the customer) was the one who had to call and remind them about the harness they supposedly ordered from Chevrolet house in McGregor. 2 weeks and didn't hear from them at all?!?! Not good business practices. Unacceptable to me...lucky they get 2 stars. The wife of the owner was rude and told me to go to the Chevrolet house next time. Really?

Locally owned and operated by some great folks who know what they're doing. Mika is a knowledgeable, professional tech. The shop just reopened recently and they are very busy which tells you all you to need to know. I have referred people over to them and they were very satisfied with the service, quality, and price they received.

A family run shop. It may not be as quick as a chain store, but you'll probably run into a neighbor to catch up... Or finally meet the guy down the street that you never got around to introducing yourself to. Micah runs an honest shop. It's great to have an honest mechanic right at the end of my street.
