I recently had an incredible experience at Chief's Motor Group, located on Hero Way in Leander, which deserves a five-star rating. The owner, Chase Riley, and his team showed outstanding professionalism and kindness, which is hard to come by today.My journey to Chief's Motor Group began after a less-than-satisfactory oil change at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, also on Hero Way. They failed to properly reattach the bottom panel of my car, leaving out the screws, which led to it dragging on the road the very next day. In my time of need, I reached out to Chase Riley. Without hesitation, he and his team took immediate action to rectify the issue in this brutal cold weather. In less than 10 minutes, they had fixed the panel, treating me with the utmost respect and hospitality during my short wait, offering water and coffee.What truly set this experience apart was Chase's generosity and thoroughness. Not only did he fix the issue at no charge, but he also conducted a complimentary check of my car to ensure no further damages or issues needing attention and educated me on how to take care of my high mileage vehicle. This level of care and dedication is rare and highly commendable.Chase and his crew at Chief's Motor Group are the epitome of honest, professional, and fantastic service. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any automotive needs. They are not just a business; they are a group of wonderful people who genuinely care about their customers. Top notch experience! I called ahead to get a quote on replacing the O2 sensors in my 02 Jeep TJ. They worked out a lower price if I got the parts myself.When I dropped it off, they did an inspection first (thankfully) and discovered that the check engine codes were for the EVAP system (not O2 sensors). They did a smoke test and investigation without asking (or charging me) to get to the root cause. They confirmed it was likely a simpler EVAP replacement. This ended up saving me a good chunk of money.Chase walked me through everything he did so I would understand how to inspect myself in the future and what else might happen. Super grateful for their patience and care. A big thank you to Omar for his responsiveness, Chase for his thoroughness, and the entire team for their input.Consider me a repeat customer!

This shop came highly recommend by a mutual friend to install my 3.5 RC lift kit. For frame of reference, I m a huge gear head and have performed all maintenance/modifications to my fleet of motorcycles/vehicles in stable and never take my stuff anywhere to be worked on because.. well, I don t trust anyone. I was in a horrible accident last year that resulted in many broken bones and other injuries resulting in this being something I couldn t fully complete without risking further injury.The kit went on exceedingly easy and has been on for 1 week and performed well thus far. I highly recommend opting for new shocks/struts with the lift. I went for the M1 struts/shocks and the body control is far superior to stock. They worked with me and provided a competitive price on the install and got the truck finished same day.

So grateful I found this auto shop. I ve been in the Auto Industry for over 10 years. Honest mechanics are hard to find. Chase (owner) took his time to answer all my questions and explain everything to me. They did great work on my 2 vehicles and I will back whenever I need service again.

Chase and his crew at Chief's Motor group were extremely friendly and patient with me. I did my best to explain the issue, as someone not familiar with cars, and they took that info and did amazing work. Chase did a fantastic job with my vehicle. He prioritized my maintenance requests and made recommendations of what to do and what not to do. I recommend Chiefs Motor Group to anyone that wants an honest mechanic that does great work.

I d give them10 stars if possible! I took my Tahoe here because they were highly recommended and I am very glad I did! The owner Chase was out of town but he was still very involved with helping me out. Jeremy, Jordan and the others treated me with respect and were extremely nice and helpful. I won t go into details (because my situation was unique) but they all truly went above and beyond to help me out (Chase is very caring about his customers and is generous as well). I will definitely spread the word around and recommend them to fix your vehicle. It s so nice to know there are still honest people out there. I truly appreciate them all! Jeremy did a fantastic job as he kept me updated on everything and did everything he could to make sure I had my vehicle ready in a timely manner (even when things are out of their control). Chief's is an honest auto service center. I went to fix the AC; Chase, the owner, explained the issues to me, fixed the AC within an hour at a great rate. Evidently honest and reasonable price. I am sure I would have paid a lot more if I had been to a dealership service center. Today was my first - I will remember Chief's for any car service in future.Service: A/C installation & repair

Chase and his crew are the best. Always transparent and knowledgeable. Fair pricing and fantastic, reliable, repair work. Chiefs Motor Group has been my and my family s automotive repair shop for 3 years now. Nothing but beyond satisfied every time. We know we are supporting a small family business and feel good about that and will be lifelong customers.

I have been looking for a reputable, knowledgeable and honest shop for over 2 years and have finally found em! Chase is honest, upfront and willing to explain issues and options. He even tried to not charge me for not being able to replicate an issue, so I found them something else to fix! I cannot recommend Chief s Auto Group highly enough. I live in Georgetown and attempted to contact a very highly rated repair shop via phone and email on multiple occasions- they wouldn t even answer their phone or return messages. The owner of Chief s, Chase, and I have a mutual friend who recommended him. He immediately responded to my inquiry, and his manager Jeremy got me scheduled at my earliest convenience. In the two days they had my vehicle, they contacted me no less than 4 times during the diagnostic/repair process. I have NEVER had a shop contact me. I have always had to initiate all communications in the past. They were very transparent and honest about what was wrong, and needed to be done. The repairs were carried out very quickly for a lot less than I expected. These guys all have a TON of integrity, and I will not hesitate to use them exclusively, even though there s at least a half dozen shops in my hometown and probably that same number between my home and them. If you are tired of the usual (poor) treatment that so many other shops typically offer, make the drive to Chief s Motor Group in Leander, for a customer service experience you could only hope for.Services: Auto water leak repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Chase and his team are amazing! 03 mustang mach1. Not a speed shop but did a great job with my new suspension, transmission, 02 sensor, breaks, differential. Headers mid pipe coming soon. Chiefs is the place I choose 1st choice, because I've had the pleasure of getting to know the owner personally, prior to opening his shop in Leander. He's a stand up guy with an honest word you can trust, which as many of us out there have come to find that this in particular is a fairly rare type of mechanic/person. He's genuine I do miss being able to get a talk to the guy and learn things about my car's I had not known, he's quite busy as of late. But everyone's entitled to their own opinion, I'd say give him a shot I highly doubt you will leave unsatisfied.

Chase and His Crew were great they were able to diagnose a noise on the rear passenger side that other shops were not able to diagnose or find. Chase was also able to find the issue and get the job knocked out the same day. They re always nice and have my best interest in their mind. They re always trying to make sure I don t over spend and are nice enough to explain what s going on with my car. They even dropped me off home when I didn t have a ride back home. They re really great people
