I made a call in the morning and I had the pleasure to speak to Tim he is very friendly and very knowledgeable with what service best suited my vehicle when I was giving him information. Went in to drop off my car and the lobby and environment of the establishment was both great and clean which is a plus not a lot of other competitors have crampy and not so sterile lobby s. Definitely going to recommend to people when they need work done on their car wasn t too expensive and my car runs better now I looked around and no other place wanted to service my car but I m glad I took it here! Will be coming back and maybe be permanent for my auto care needs!

Totally satisfied with they're customer service. I was informed with detailed information with the needs of my car . Expeditiously car service returned to me with a great guarantee assurance of their service performed on my car. I now have a peace of mind driving my car. Will go back if I need any help servicing my car for other trouble shooting problems. Thank you to all that helped make this happen. Shout out to Javier, Mgr. You helped me feel I made the best decision leaving my car. My car was in good hands!!

This was my third go with Reliable Automotive and unfortunately, the third time is not the charm, even at a different location. I do understand with their 2019 and 2020 success, they've been able to become a bigger company, with multiple locations across Hays county, but that seems to make servicing a vehicle quickly much more difficult.I took my car in this morning for an inspection and an oil change. Over two hours later and unable to wait any longer, I left with only the oil change completed, after being told there was "only one, maybe two" people in front of me when I arrived for the inspection (before 8:00a). Additionally, the only inspector, who I was told at one point was outside with my car, "was on the phone", at which point I decided to leave. I guess I'll stick to the specialized oil change centers and other mechanics when I need to take my car in for maintenance or inspections. There are plenty of other great options in Kyle/Buda.On a positive note, the invoice said they rotated my tires for me.

They should change their name to UNreliable Automotive! I called two hours prior to taking my car in for an inspection and was told Bryan is their state inspector and would be going on lunch soon; but to bring it in as they operate first come first served and close at 5pm. However, when I brought my car in at 2pm, the man at the front desk told me they don't have a state inspector. When I mentioned our prior phone call, he changed the story to Bryan is unavailable. I asked if he was still on lunch and was told that he left and wouldn't be coming back despite them telling me they would be open until 5! I will say that, if they did decide to provide the reliable service they claim, you will be very comfortable during your wait with the seemingly comfortable chairs/couches they have in the lobby. Too bad I didn't get to test them out!

These guys tried to pull a fast one on me. I brought my Honda Pilot in for a headlight not working. They said it wasn't the headlight, but the ballast and entire harness had to be replaced (and that it would cost me around $1200). They also told me that taking it to the dealer would likely cost $1400 or more. I came by to pick the vehicle up and said we wouldn't be having that work done. I immediately took it down to the Honda dealership in SanMarcos. They looked it over and found that there was one spot where mice had chewed the wires. The ballast was fine. The headlight bulbs....also fine. They fixed it for a ton less than what Reliable was about to charge me for.....all because Reliable wasn't thorough. They rushed the inspection of the problem only to misdiagnose it; in turn, attempting to up-sale me on a bunch of work that wasn't even needed. It's a shame that they weren't more thorough and honest.

I went for my state inspection and I was surprised how nice this place is. Great customer service and cleaness. Coffee, wifi, table for your computer work while waiting. Definitely I am coming back . Ask for Amanda.

I was able to get out in less than an hour for the state inspection. The people working were very personable, making me feel that they value my business. Waiting area clean and comfortable. I found myself the place I intend to use for my future auto maintenance and repair!

I drove 30 minutes out of my way for this friendly team of helpful mechanics doing honest business at a fair price, and it was well worth it. The bonus is that the waiting area is super clean and fairly quiet so I could work while I waited. They even have some good coupons available online.

Very well-informed customer service reps (Amanda was great) and expert technicians. They don't charge you for anything you don't pre-authorize, and they give you reports and diagrams of everything wrong to help you make an informed decision. Their website also has coupons which help cut costs.

Needed brakes fixed on my wife s Lexus and Reliable got me in and out the same day. Replaced pads and rotors at a reasonable price and with great service. I did an internet search to see what the average prices were for the parts and labor and Reliable was at, or below everything that came up. They send you a link to see repairs and a picture/video explanation of what they are doing, and why. Amanda up front was extremely pleasant and the waiting area and shop were nice. Great experience and I ll be using them from now on. Thanks Reliable!

The people at Reliable Automotive are always nice, friendly and informative. They always do good work on my truck and give me the truth about what is going in with my truck. They won't do services unless they are really needed.

The Kyle Reliable Automotive team are very professional and courteous. I took my GMC 1500 Sierra in for what I thought may be bad front wheel bearings. They confirmed what I thought and Javier called to go over everything. We proceeded with the repairs and I couldn t be more please.

Left a car for emergency. I lost the head gasket during drive. any normal technician could easily change that in 2-3 hours and part is 160 dollars. They said "they are not capable of changing of head gasket in that location but they can change the engine:) Very reliable. I had to pay diagnostics (124) which I have done myself for free. Anyway, free bible for you : "Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind".

Parking is nonexistent at this location with cars double parked and on the grass. They do not take appointments so quoted wait times are not realistic and can fluctuate greatly. The attitude that I received when coming to get a service done was that they were busy and by me coming to get some work done, I was an inconvenience to them. I even called ahead and was told that I would be next to be serviced with about an hour or less wait but ended up coming and waiting 3 hours with my vehicle not even getting looked at. This maybe a good option if you have the ability to drop your vehicle off for the day or 2 but if that is not an option for you I would suggest another place. I was going to give this place a try even though their prices are about double what others are but after my experience it is not worth it.

I got a prompt diagnosis and resolution to my car problem. The hum in my car was caused by a faulty and worn out wheel bearing. I now have a new one and everything is resolved. The staff was friendly and responsive. I recommend Reliable Automotive for any car maintenance and repair.

Customer service was great, waiting area was clean and spacious. Even with it being the day before thanksgiving I was able to get an oil change while knocking out some work. Only con is the WiFi is on the slow side, but it s an auto shop and not an Internet cafe, so can t fault them for that. Pricing is fair, no upsells!

They are friendly and knowledgeable. They show me issues and let me know ahead of time what it will cost. Total work was cheaper than a lot of other places. I really recommend them.

The work was completed and everything seems to be working, which is the main goal. It did take a full 24 hours to get done so do with that info what you will.I will say - the men that work here are the type of guys that make women reluctant to get service on their cars. Talking down to you and being combative. I ll probably be back for the convenience, but I would hope to only work with the woman Amanda again.

The work was fine. It was just a state inspection. But to the self-righteous man working behind the desk who was belittling and gaslighting his wife over the phone, let s just say it was his lucky day that I was operating on FACTS, not on feelings like he said that women do. This review can do its own work. I will never return to a business that employs bullies, especially towards the one they ve vowed to protect and defend. Be a real man.

Ok first off Amanda told me my tie rods need to be replaced to stop that vibration noice on my left turns. So i did that but it was still there. Than i tke my car in to get an engine swap which tim told me they will do. Two weeks after that they told me they wont do that since i supercharged my vehicle which i told them from the start and Tim told me they will. They are not reliable at all and i am looking out for you customers that need more than an oil change. These mechanics out here in Texas can not own up to their words that are given.

I have used Reliable Automotive twice. The first time I had a nail in my car s sidewall, so the tire had to be replaced. Recently our truck needed all new tires. Javier searched for good tires yet were more affordable since I m retired. I was very pleased with the friendliness and overall good service. I was able to diagnose my vehicles problem and decided to take my car in to see how much repairs would cost and I even gave them the exact code.The job was to replace spark plugs and 2 ignition coils.They quoted me $1000Now if you don t know much about cars this is highway robbery.I decided to go to rock autos website online and found the parts I needed, I decided to buy extra due to how cheap they were.(This is why most mechanics don t allow you to bring outside parts so they can up-charge you 3x the price)I ended up spending $250 out the door and ended up repairing more parts than what they originally were going to repair.In total it took me an hour and a half to do the job myself.You do the math. $1000 or $250.
