Great service! We had an emergency with our car, the engine light came up right before our trip and Ashraf helped us immediately. It was an easy fix but he didn t hesitate to help us and did it super fast. Definitely recommend!

Tried buying a truck and as a female, I felt like I was getting the run around. He said the transmission went out and they replaced it, then made a call and said oh nevermind it was the radiator and fan. Then the truck had a tow hitch and tried saying it was a GPS system (thank God I knew better), so I asked if they would remove it if I bought it and they said yes. But after everything, I had a friend who's a mechanic stop by and take a look at the truck. Everything looked good, so I made an offer and the guy ended up telling me someone made a deposit and that he was on his way.... So I waited 20 mins and he came back out and said the guy was coming back tomorrow and that we can discuss the truck more inside. At that point I was done. Too many lies and runarounds.

Worst shop Ive ever been too. I took it here on Feb 23rd because they do TechNet warranty work and TechNet sent me to this shop as Kyle Automotive was 3-4 weeks out.I sent HiTech the warranty claim number and original invoice. I informed them its a bad cam phaser and they agreed that they could do that. By Feb 25 he hadnt looked at my truck because he never checked his email for my claim number. After calling HiTech to remind them to check their email they went ahead and started to diagnose the problem and came up with cam shaft phasers.The issue is covered under warranty. HiTech called me and told me the warranty wouldnt cover the timing chain (part of the repair also covered under warranty) and that they recommended a "full motor replacement". I was shocked that my fixable, under warranty problem became a "needs a new motor".I called TechNet and had warranty reps call HiTech and explain that they could do the work and that TechNet would pay the bill. I physically went to the shop to ensure he was talking to the right rep and heard TechNet tell them they can do the work. Hi Tech agreed and I left.Hi Tech waited a few more days till March 3rd to call and say TechNet wouldnt cover it because I had to sign off to pay for 16hrs on a 13hr job on a job thats covered by warranty. I had TechNet reps call them again and they informed me it is covered and they arent sure why HiTech was having problems.After TechNet called them again it comes to light that they actually just dont want to do the job because they arent comfortable with the job.If they had just said that at the start I wouldnt have waited 9 days before being able to take my truck to Kyle Automotive Service Center where they can do the job.Stay away from this place unless you want a dishonest, difficult process with your car repair.Im sure irs fine for inspections but actual work is apparently to much for them.

Ashraf was very helpful with my state inspection and got me in and out in less then 10 minutes!! I have tried several auto places in the past few weeks and all of them quoted me and hour to several hours just for a state inspection!! So I was very pleased with the service I received at hi-tech

I have been going to their South Congress location for quite a number of years now and have been totally satisfied with their great work and their outstanding customer service! Before discovering this gem-of-a-shop, I have been taking my car to another shop in South Austin. I would drop my car off and get a ride from my kids to get to work but at Hi-Tech, one can borrow a loaner car at $10/day. While it's not always car-rental quality, esp. if you come in late in the day, but hey, for the price, it's a great deal and a great convenience! Because they have been quite busy at the South Congress location, I started taking my car to their Kyle location. Ashraf and his crew, as expected, always deliver great service and I am confident that I am always getting the best price for quality work. Thanks, Hi-Tech!

Today I had the best customer service experience that was proceeded by the worst customer service somewhere else. I have been a customer of Hi Tech on Congress but recently moved to Kyle and remembered that there was a Hi Tech here. After a really terrible experience at a Big Box place earlier in the day that basically waisted most of my day, I remembered that Hi Tech was close by. When I drove up completely frazzled and upset from my experience I was greeted by a friendly face and more importantly the owner Ashraf immediately jumped in my car and started to figure the problem. He spent the next hour with me fixing the issue and making me the number priority. Who can ask for more? That's exactly the ideal situation. He took the time to tread me like a queen, and I so needed that in my terrible mood. I have loved working with everyone down town and always new they were honest and upfront about the work that needed to be done. This just added to my love of Hi Tech. They care about the customer experience and have made a really cool deck covered in Grape vines and surrounded by peacocks. Thank you so much for saving my day!

I needed to get my state inspection done today. Firestone had a long wait, so I decided to try HTA. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised! They're a family business (3 locations), wonderfully friendly, and very helpful! I wish I had known about/found them sooner. They repair/restore vehicles, have a large salvage yard, do state inspections, rescue peacocks, & even smile; I really enjoyed meeting them!

3rd time in three years for my Vehicle Inspection. Last year they even repaired my damaged passenger side mirror to my complete satisfaction. Fast In and Fast Out. I've never had to wait. The Customer Service is top notch.

My vehicle has now become the second to be repaired by the crew at Hi-Tech. It's a 2010 Chevy Cobalt that was on it's last wheel. Thank goodness Hi-Tech was able to bring it back to GREAT working condition. Would recommend them to all Hays County/ South Austin residents with complete confidence. Even worked with our financial issues!

This is my go-to place for my Lexus RX because they fix anything and everything. I am so impressed with the customer service and willingness to accommodate my work schedule. Ashraf has been very nice and helpful and I especially like his peacocks that grace the outside! Fair in price and rockstar customer service. What more could you ask for? This place is a hidden gem, try it out - you won't be disappointed!

I went here to get my battery replaced and they had it done super quick. Ashraf saw that the latch on my trunk was broken and because of that, my trunk wouldn't lock.It had been that way for a while now and I had previously taken it to the Nissan dealership I bought it from to be told that I had broken it due to negligence and they would have to charge me to replace some part on it or something.Ashraf knew what was wrong with it so he left to grab a tool and fixed it in two minutes with no trouble at all. At no charge.I really like the employees here, they are very friendly and care about their customers. They don't try to profit off of customers or capitalize on their lack of knowledge about vehicles and I really appreciate their honesty and general concern about their customers having safe and properly functioning vehicles.They are a family owned and operated business and you can tell because they treat you like family when you come in.

Incredibly over priced for an oil change! I also needed my car inspected. I was called and told my front breaks needed to be completely replaced as my car would not pass inspection. Knowing they were full of it, I told them nevermind. I then get a call 2 minutes later stating they will do the inspection and that I was called by mistake, they were referring to someone else car. Then please explain why my receipt states my front breaks nees to be replaced?! On top of it, they were kind enough to leave oil/rease ALL over my steering wheel. I would not recommend them and I will not go back.

I just took in my Benz SL500, I knew going in that I needed new engine mounts. However I didn't tell them, I wanted to see how they diagnosed the reason that my car had a constant "shimmy" as it accelerated. Well they were spot on about identifying the problem and they were cheaper then what I was quoted by other repair shops. I had a few other thing fixed on the car and i couldn't be happier with the service that I received. I was kept in the loop about the cost and the time needed to finish the work. Very nice guys and I will continue to take my cars to them.

This company has taken care of my family and our driving needs for close to 10 years. Timely, efficient, no bs, just service. and great vehicles. I bought a Volvo from them last year and have driven it back and forth across the country 4 times not one problem. My husband's truck has run through everything for nearly 9 years, no problems. Ashraf was very nice and helpful. My husband and I walked in about 30 mins till closing time, and we didn't feel rushed at all. He even took the time to show us the outside waiting area and talk about his peacocks. We definitely will be doing business there again!

I was given a verbal quote for front wheel bearings $225 each, front brake pads $250 and rear brake pads $150 with a free oil change. When I went to pick up my car the total was $1070.30. Wheel bearings $547.96, quote was $450. front brake pads $250 (as quoted) rear brake pads $150.00 (as quoted) oil change $38.94, not free as quoted. $15 diagnostic fee and $30 "shop charges" neither of which were quoted. To top off the $185.00 I was over charged, on my way home my check tire pressure light came on and there was a nail in my tire that was not there before my car was at Hi-Tech Automotive. Also, my brakes squeaking which I was told by another mechanic that new brakes shouldn't squeak if they are installed correctly.

This is a review of their junk car side of business. Waste of TIME!Asked for a hood seal that is on bumper, and they said only willing to sell whole bumper. Wanted a trunk spoiler, they wouldn't sell without whole trunk, and when I asked price of whole assembly I was basically told it would be too much (I drove up in a extremely nice Lexus, not sure why they wouldn't want to make money). I then needed a special nut and washer that was on lower control arm, and they only wanted to sell whole front suspension assembly and didn't tell me price. I also needed underbody panels, but at this point I was fed up with their "No's".Do not waste your time going there, call and ask for specifics......but I would bet their prices are outrageous, maybe someone who finally gets a price estimate will find out.Also just a heads up, sports cars and lowered vehicles in general.......Park on road....you will bottom out on their terrible dirt/rock road.

I went on for an inspection and Ash ended up helping me with my liscence plate lights that I didn't know where out. Very good work, respectful and polite. Highly recommend

I would not recommend this place at all they cheat you!!! I took my truck for repair here and first they said it will take a week for them to fix and ended up taking 3 weeks then they said they put a good quality part in and charged me 2500 when they had said it was going to be about 1000 they kept adding things in saying it needed fixing and fixed it without my permission and the worst part is when i went to pick up the truck there was RAT poop all inside and the rats had chewed up the cables , seats it was a total mess and when i showed the guy (the one in the pic) the inside he did nothing about it then when i asked for a recipt for the parts to see why it was so expensive he said they dont give recipts they make up their own what they charge few months later had the same problem with the truck and took it else where and thats when they told me that whoever fixed it (hi tech auto) before bought the cheapiest parts which made sense which why they didnt want to give me a recipt on the parts and charge double for what i paid the new mechanic

Best shop I've ever gone too ! Been going here for years and ears they have worked on all my vehicles including my limos with great quality service ! I love this place and will never go anywhere else . I refer everyone I know to this shop !
