What can you say about Buddies? It's a Kingsland institution. They got a lot of snacks. Beverages of all types. And hot food. They have chicken and pizza. They also have competitive prices. Oh yeah they have gas, unleaded and diesel.

Conveniently located and good selection. Nice selection of fountain drinks. Checkout has been slow in my experience.

Lord help me today passive aggressive, Karen, strikes again. Since when is it customary to rush a customer and then tell them to have a nice day. Maybe it s because I m the only black person she s seen in a long time. Maybe because I m the only black person in this neighborhood maybe because she thought I was a pushover and I was going to submit to her slave Master mentality. No thank you. Try again I m not the one you probably didn t think I was going to write a review about it did you. Black people don t stop here you ll regret it.

This is about the car wash they own down the street. Don't use it!!!!. It breaks down while you're in the stall. They will not refund money for prepayment of car wash for the car behind waiting for wash. Calling them for some assistance is a joke to them. Literally laughed at me and told me "good luck getting a refund" horrible people. So disappointing in the service. It took a week of phone calls to get some assistance. They don't care!!!

Rudest employees I ve ever come across. Same experience apparently as multiple people on here. Same issue with no one taking care of the drive through and when I went in to tell them this has happened multiple times, the tall fat lady with glasses actually got in my face yelling! The owners are clearly tolerating this behavior since all these one stars span over a couple of years.Do NOT give this place your money. On top of all this the food area is filthy and the chicken is sub par at best. Disgusted.

So I get there 15 minutes before closing, I order an 8 piece dark and she tells me she can't do it cause they are about to close and all she has is one leg and the other 7 pieces would have to be thighs. I was like ok so that would be an 8 pieces.. can I not get the 8 with majority thighs? She says no, then I would have to charge an additional 2 dollars per thigh. So 14 additional dollars on top of the original price for an 8 piece dark. Mind you this is 15 minutes before they close.... so they are about to throw out the last of the food anyway. I compromise with one leg, tho thighs, and the rest of the 8 piece backest is to be white meat for the same price as the 8 piece dark... I get home and I got the leg, two thighs, and 2 pieces of white for a total of 5 pieces. Last time going to his Cajon-seasoning-needle-injected chicken place. Last time .

Can't believe after 3pm you can't get white gravy. They make it in the morning and throw it away at 3:00 in the afternoon. What about those at what gravy at dinner time?

A little rude at times. I feel the employees in this store judge me by my attire and company. Dressed to the 9's and alone its all smiles and yes ma'am. Just finish in the yard and looking for a cold drink I'm being watched like I'm going to steal. Same person in the s as me store. Two completely different experiences.....:(

Every time I come back to Kingsland I have to go to Buddy's I have to get their spicy chicken it's the best I've ever had and I love to look around the store as I always have unique stuff and their staff is very friendly and courteous

Tried to call in an order for a pizza and they kept hanging up on me! Had to come in and order a pizza instead of being able to call ahead . Not what I want to do after working a 13+ hour day. Have to sit and wait for 15 mins. instead of waiting at home in comfort till it's ready! Come on guys get it together!

I waited for 10 minutes in the drive thru to order a 2 PC dark meat. No one ever came to the box. When I finally pulled around, they said no one had a head set on. I never got served nor apologized to. How is this customer service?

Always great hospitality by the kitchen staff in the mornings. Absolutely love there biscuit, egg, and sausage. Good breakfast burritos as well.

One very well run place with an excellent staff!I ran out of gas headed into Kingsland on Thanksgiving Day. Their assistant manager brought me a can and a couple of gallons to get me to their store. I couldn't be more thankful. Y'all are awesome!!

I will never spend my money here again the staff are rude and disrespectful. I asked for cash back and got attitude and the troll lady at tue counter is the worst. All they needed to say was "No sir we dont do cash back." And i would have made my transaction and went on with my day. Too bad no stars isnt an option.

Went down hill in the last year. Used to be the best chicken strips and gravy with onion rings. No more gravy and no more onion rings and lousy chicken and rude workers. Sorry, wont be back.

Nicest convenience store in Kingsland by far, and the most variety inside. Great chicken strip type fast food restaurant inside as well. They found an onion to GIVE me for a Thanksgiving Day emergency as HEB was closed and they had no way to ring it up. Thanks guys!

Ordered food here, paid never received my food customer service is just not a strong point here. Months later tried again got chicken and food poisoning. Try at your own risk Im sure they have some good days sometimes.

Love this place. Big Red from the fountain!! Cute lake wear and accessories. Great convenience store variety. Krispy Crunchy chicken drive thru and Hunts Brothers Pizza.

Website says open 24 hours and the front door states the same. It's 12:02 am, all the lights are on yet all doors are locked. The guy staring at me through the glass is shaking his head I guess telling me he isn't open .If you are no longer open 24 hours you should turn the lights off outside and update your hours online and on the front door so customers don't waste their time.

Buddies is a big store. Its charismatic appeal is wonderful. Parking next to monster trucks is no fun. This is trend 3 for me. Buddies has fresh made sandwiches. Fruit plates fishing etc and beer. Equipment for lake here. Kingsla nd is no way Small Buddies located in the center of town offers the best hot fried chicken, cole slaw, biscuts, and we loved the chicken tenders. Tell them, I said " plenty of free gravy ".Customer service is good never had a problem ever. Miss you Buddies im in Doss now selling Biker Pickles in Fredericksburg.
