I just moved to the area. Went to several auto parts stores, and they all gave me the same name. JM yearly automotive. I went in on a Friday afternoon with an electrical issue in less than three hours. My vehicle been diagnosed repaired and returned to me. Fair prices even better people.

Twenty years ago, a friend recommended Yeary to me almost as an afterthought. Today, he's is still the go-to guy for anyone in my family needing more than an oil change! He's honest, has excellent communication, and never tries to upsell you. His labor costs are slightly higher than a Jiffy Lube or NTB but dramatically lower than a dealership. He'll give you options: "I can do this now for this much, or I can just do this other thing for a little less and we'll see how it goes." He'll tell you if something is necessary for safety reasons or if it's just a good idea; if another mechanic tells you something needs to be done, tell him no thanks and let Mark look at it. He might even tell you, "There's no way I'm fixing that, it's not worth it!" if the car's really old. He's probably saved my family a few grand over the years! I've been using Yeary Automotive for over 15 years now, and plan to continue as long as they are open for business. He has always been spot on in his diagnostic, and repair, almost always only needing a couple days(ish) to get it done. Since using Yeary, he has taken care of all my extended families cars and trucks (over 12 different makes and models).I do not normally write reviews, unless people need to know about a good business and/or service they'd want to know about, hence this review.Hope this help you finding a good shop.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Yeary has been working on our cars for as long as I can remember, certainly over 15 years, he's always extremely fair, upfront and reliable in both his work and his communication. Anytime we have an issue he's always very clear when letting us know what the best time to bring the car in is, and usually either gets back to us the same day with either diagnostics or the car ready itself! I think the longest I've ever had to wait to get a car back from him was the very next business day. He is the only mechanic that I implicitly TRUST with my vehicle, which is something that is worth it's weight in gold in the automotive industry.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Air conditioning, Brake service & repair

I have repeatedly had good experiences with Yeary automotive. They have performed several repairs on our vehicles and always treat them as if they were his car. I do a lot of my own repairs. But when I can't or don't want to do the work, I turn to Mark. He is extremely knowledgeable and dependable. He also understands when I want to do the work myself and offers great advice. He recently had the ability to offer me a great price on an expensive part I was looking for. I was unwilling to drop the money $$$$ for the non essential part. He had one available from a scrapped vehicle at a very reasonable cost. I installed it myself and my wife is very pleased that her vehicle is fully functional again.They are easy to work with and accommodate our schedule. I have no concerns sending my wife to have a vehicle serviced here. Although she knows little about automotive maintenance, I know the Yeary's will treat her honestly. All my vehicles are serviced and repaired here now.

Too many small details to mention but I felt like I was getting C service instead of A service. Mechanic assumes I know nothing or little about my vehicle. He missed a vital part which he could have easily googled. Not going back. This place was fair but I need good to excellent like my monetary involvement.

Don't be put off by the shabby building facade or the office clutter. This is one of a dying breed of honest, mom-and-pop mechanics. Mark is excellent at what he does and will only fix what absolutely has to be fixed on the vehicle. If you have an older car, he might even say, "There's no way I'm gonna fix that! It's not worth it!" It's a great place to take your car if you know something's wrong but not sure what. The only drawbacks are that he's not open weekends and takes much longer with the car than a more expensive chain or dealer, so if you need something basic done quickly, go somewhere else.

This is the best shop in DFW! Nobody here tries to pull anyone's leg. If you want your car worked on and fixed right the first time go see the owners. They will bend there back backwards to make sure your taken care of. This company is the only company that I know, that still shows quality service from the time you get there and during your vehicles stay. Everyone's vehicle is treated as if it were his own. If your vehicle stays the night, it gets locked up in the shop or behind a locked gate. The mechanics are all very experienced, and I'm not talking about UTI, classroom, book knowledge, experience. I'm talking full hands on experience. Everyone there is also ASE Certified. So go ahead, dont take my advice. Take your car to another shop. Your gonna think about this review after getting the bill from a competitor and say "damn, I should have took this random guys advice and just took it to JM YEARY".
