Took my 2002 Pontiac Firebird in to have the rear muffler replaced and was very surprised at the level of service parts not in stock but ordered over the weekend .. offered a range of mufflers and exhaust tips. Went for a stock muffler and to reuse the original tips. Cant praise him enough for the quality of work and the price was far less than anticipated.

Went here to get a quote for someone and the guy that worked there was very chill, and straight to business, very quick to tell you what you need or don't need. I recommend this place for anyone that needs help in what he specializes in.

Took my newly purchased used F150 P/U in for rattle noise above 50mph - suspect catylitic converter issue. Inspection indicated converters where ok. Looked at muffler, too - no charge. I'll be back when they finally fail....highly recommended if you need exhaust system help.

This guy is awesome. I went in with an aftermarket muffler for a 30 year old Massey Ferguson tractor that would not fit the tractor. He stopped what he was doing, did a quick look and went to work on it cutting and welding and within an hour he fixed it, painted it and handed it back to me. His fee was more than fair and the work was professional. He even gave me a me a new muffler clamp and it fit the tractor perfectly. I would recommend this company to anyone.Service: Exhaust

The tailpipe hanger had broken leaving my exhaust system unsupported. In a short period of time the other supports started to fail and leaks developed.I was certain that this was going to be very expensive. However, the proprietor at S & S Muffler had some parts left over from other jobs and used them to replace my broken parts. When I asked how much I owed him he said, 'No Charge!' He only asked that I bring my car back when I have a real problem.Honestly he had me over a barrel. He could have taken me to the cleaners. But this is what happens when you run into an honest mechanic. He wasn't interested in a fast buck. He was much more interested in building a business based on trust and respect. S & S Muffler certainly has earned my trust and my highest recommendation.

Called asked just for a ballpark figure on fixing my muffler. The guy was rude on the phone when I spoke to him. I called LongStar muffler off of telephone road in Houston and took my business there. You were rude if not I would have taken the time to give you a review.

I took my friends car in here because she couldn't figure out what was rattling on the muffler. I went up there and saw Tim and put it on the lift to see what was wrong. She backed into something and it completely disconnected the muffler. Within 15 mins he completely understood the problem and custom welded an brand new piece and had it running perfectly. Very pleased with his work.

I highly recommend S&S for your exhaust needs. Today I noticed my tailpipe hanger was broken and decided to have S&S look at it. Within 10 minutes he welded and fixed the problem. And since he last worked on it (about 2-3 years ago), he stood behind his work and didn t charge me a dime. I felt that he deserved something for his time but he just apologized for the inconvenience. I was a bit stunned with his generosity. There are not many places that will stand behind their work like S&S did today. S&S is my go to shop for muffler work, no doubt.Service: Exhaust

Tim is one of the rare shops that is honest with his estimate and work. If you have any muffler related issues, come here.I have a 1992 Accord with 170,000+ miles on it. He did not hesitate with his estimate, getting the correct part (flexible pipe), replacing the part, and welding pin-holes on the whole exhaust system.You want honesty, come here.

My wife has a 67 Camaro convertible and I got the exhaust completely redone for her birthday. Tim did a fantastic job on the whole setup and installation. The quality of his work is very high and the little touches and things he takes into consideration were great. The job was done in very quickly and for a very fair price. Tim also pointed out that he heard a miss and we may need to change out one of the spark plugs. Turned out he was right and it was only running on 6 of the 8 cylinders. Swapped the plugs out and it runs and sounds awesome. I will definitely be going back for any future exhaust work need on my Corvette or Subaru.

Tim did an awesome job adjusting my Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust. He took his time and made sure everything was perfect. I've tried several other shops in the past and his work is by far the best.

I brought in my 2008 Pontiac G8 to have my Kooks system put on. Tim installed the long tube headers, x pipe and exhaust and he was very helpful throughout the whole process. Highly recommended.

I called S & S for a new exhaust system for my 1989 Mazda 323 and made an appt. for the next Wed. When I brought my car in, Tim put it up on the lift right away and diagnosed the issue with me right there. Instead of a new exhaust system, Tim found that I only needed a new resonator and indicated that he would need to order the part and the car would be ready the next day. Later that day, Tim called and said that he found the part in his shop and would have the car ready by the afternoon. Unfortunately, I was very busy at work, but he called and texted me repeatedly since he could not reach me- to ensure that i got the message. I picked up the car that afternoon and the price was fantastic. Car is running better than ever. 5+ stars.

Tim knows his craft. He will not let you put on anything that will not be correct. Catalytic converters installed on my 73 Grand Am in less than two hours at a way too low of price. I would have paid more for the level of craftsmanship he provides. Don't go anywhere else!

Tim was very respectful and put an amazing cat back exhaust on my mustang. I dropped it off around 11:45 and got it back at 12:45, he did an amazing job, the work he has done was perfect and it sounds great.

This is the place to get any exhaust work done. Tim is very personable and honest. Furthermore, his work is top notch because he treats every job as if it s his own and having almost 50 years experience doesn t hurt either.

Very fast and professional work on the aftermarket exhaust. The work cost more than twice less then they offered at other location. Gave several good tips. Even when I move away from this area, I will come back if any exhaust repair needed.

I've used this shop twice to replace the CAT's on my high mileage vehicles after failing inspection. His rates are very reasonable and he take the time to explain the issue and the options. Highly recommend.

It's frustrating when you call ahead and they say they'll be here till 5 and then they decide to close 40 minutes early and you've gone out of your way to come try to get service it would be nice if there was some consistency on the times they were actually open

This gentleman was full of knowledge and was able to direct me to fix my muffler for the cheapest possible.... He did wonderful work even spray painting the welds.... As I pulled out my starter broke it ripped a bolt out of the block he went into his drawer full of spare old parts and found one that would work jacked the truck up and had it runing in 5 minutes he didn't charge me for the bolt and I will always return to him for any muffler work or repair!

Muffler fell off my car while I was in town for work. Guy got me in quick, got me back on the road in only about a half hour and charged me a very fair price for the work. Would definitely do business with him again.

Did a great job on my 2011 GT resonators. Taking my 2016 in for a mid pipe and muffler swap next week.Don't hang over someone who knows what he his doing.
