As always, well attended from early on by a great staff. Today my wife's car was received by Omar, who together with Daniel, Alex, Carlos and many more, make up a great work team led by Mr. Steven Deatherage, Manager of the service area. Thank you all for your careful attention, even those who behind the scenes do the hard work to keep our cars running at their best.

Bought a certified car in a different dealership and was told the warranty can be executed in any Toyota within US and Canada. Unfortunately for me, Toyota of Katy is the closest dealership from my house and had an issue with my car that needed to be fixed. For starters, the shuttle service they offer is AWFUL. My house is new and it is not located in any of the maps yet, I warned them about it and offered to provide a nearby location, they didn t listen and ended me taking to a whole different location. Had to pay out pocket for the service even though it was supposed to be covered.Regarding my car, they looked at every possible way to deny service and not fix the issue that came with the warranty, telling me I had to go to the dealership where I bought my car. Worst customer service experience out there.

These guys have the absolute best service center I ve ever done business with. I m on my 2nd Tubdra with 200k+ miles. This is the only service center I ve ever done business with where you don t have to 2nd guess the diagnostics. They not only keep my truck running like new and provide 1st class service, they also do it at a very fair price.

I came in at 9:10 for a 9:30 appointment for a 25k service. The lines at every service queue were out into the parking lot. After 10 minutes I was sufficiently close to leave my truck ( so it couldn t be driven off) and go inside. I waited another 45 minutes in the inside line to book the truck in for a simple service. I was told it would be 1 1/2 to 2 hours and that the only thing they were going to do was rotate the tires. So an hour+ waiting in line and 2 hours+ to do something another shop can do in 30 minutes. What a waste of time. Never again - I will find another shop for service. In simpler terms - service at Toyota of Katy sucks. Doesn t seem to be any need to book an appointment as it does not matter once you are the dealership. There are no priority lines for people that have booked. However, they did send me at least 5 texts about the appointment - texts were coming at the rate of 1 or 2 a day - LOL - useless.

If you have an appointment, it is quick and friendly service. Free freshly ground coffee while you wait, and even a free snack cart that rolls around to you! Love it!

Don't trust this place, lol. They try to sell you a bunch of unnecessary services at crazy high prices. On top of that, any product purchased in the service department is junk. It will last just long enough to be out of warranty so you have to buy a new one. Do yourself a favor, get the free oil changes and tire rotations from here, lol. Everything else, buy or have serviced somewhere else.

They will try to scam you on warranty by claiming the part does not show as sold on their system yet they claim that they installed it and took a hit on the installation. Avoid this services center.

At this location, not the Typical Toyota standard experience you would expect.Came in for an oil change, (unfortunately due to work schedule I can only normally do Sat). They said they didnt have reservation but walk-ins only (made sense). Advisor "Evan" attended, was told it would take 4 hours, ok accepted, dropped the car and left.Since I was cautioned if I am not back to pick up the car by 5 I would only get the car Monday so came back about 4:40PM, advisor wasnt to be seen, didnt get much help from other advisors who claimed to let my advisor know I was waiting. Meanwhile, stood by the workshop glass door just like other customers in similar shoes as me, with some been waiting for 6 hours for just an oil change. Talking to them revealed some unusual practices such as, Advisors buddy would get a preference with cars moved around to service their's first, mechanics leaving the cars and engaging in conversations with their peers for as long as 15 mins before turning back and resuming work on cars, were just some of the other unruly and unprofessional culture's seen here, Toyota's to date they had been and considering to never return to this service center again Just then noticed my Advisor who locked eyes with me and conveniently chose to simply ignore and walk away and after a few attempts finally caught up with him but advised the car not ready yet.Anyway, finally got a glimpse of my car moving out of the workshop eventually, then a good 15 mins pass by, but still no update, and then well after 5:30PM, as I stood by the cashier noticed my file come over and prepared to pay, informed something was missing in the paperwork and they had to address it internally which took another 10 minutes to sort out. Finally paid, got to the car and noticed the Maintenance warning was still active, came back and informed another advisor who was kind to take a walk with me to the car reset the maintenance counter and realized the old sticker was still on so removed and got a new one.* Oh and no free bottled water unlike other locations despite those 4-6 hours wait so consider coming prepared with your lunch, snacks, dinner and hydration plan *I do not recommend this location but if you are in a last minute and out of choice situation like me, hopefully you are a bit better informed.

I took my car in for a very expensive repair, and after explaining my issue and position with the service manager, she took real good care of me. She was attentive, extremely helpful, and super nice. Thank you so much, Alison. I will definitely be back.

We went on a road trip from NM to FL and needed to get the 25,000 mile checkup in Houston. Making an appointment was easy enough and the person on the phone was friendly. We brought the car in 30 minutes early and were planning on hanging out in their lobby area. However, all of their coffee machines were broken and they only had warm water. We decided instead to walk the 15 minutes to Bahama Joe's. They also had a vendor outside selling Elephant ears but the guy was charging $8 for the small one. This is more expensive than Disney World!

Had to go back inside because they didn't reset maintenance light. I was charged a 2.50 misc fee that was not quoted in my oil change. I told the guy the fee is the fee and these surprise charges seem unnecessary. I wonder how legal it is, especially since the cashier could not explain. This is the closest Toyota and now I don't trust them.

They do a very good job, only drawback is if they say an hour, you pretty much can count on it being two hours, probably because of their quality work.

The customer service is spectacular. Isham Boughima was the best salesperson we have ever dealt with. My wife and I had just started car shopping. Our car lot we pulled in was Toyota of Katy, and that is where we met Ilham. We were not buying a car, just information gathering and test driving. She sold us the car and made us very happy. Isham is kind, considerate, knowledgeable and very willing to work with you. I can't say enough about her and the Camry XES we bought.

Oil change service. If you need oil change go to Don McGill Toyota, not to Toyota of Katy.Don McGill prices their oil change fairly. Synthetic price is of course different from regular oil change. However, Toyota of Katy will make another difference on how many of oil is needed for your car. On my case, Lexus ES350, Toyota of Katy price is $99+tax. Then, I gave them a second chance and beought my GX460 for an oil change. They priced me $109+tax. They said GX460 has a bigger engine and requires more oil. While this is true from quantity standpoint, their pricing is not consistent. I called Don McGill Toyota (also on I-10 location), they told me their price is still the same $89+tax for synthetic oil change regardless you vehicle. And that s how it should be done as dealership won t charge you less if your car is a smaer car, then if your car require one or two more quarts, pricing should be consistent if you use the same type of oil.
