My son went here for an oil change that he had an appointment for. It ended up taking 2 1/2 hours and the staff at the front desk was unfriendly and rude when he questioned how much longer it would be. Also, the cost was more than advertised. Next time we'll go back to the 15 minute oil change Valvoline place on 1463. They have much better customer service and timeliness.

The staff at Sun Auto Service is the best !! I mean EVERYONE there was so helpful, friendly, and above all knowledgeable. I couldn't have picked a better place to care for my 20 years old truck. Their mechanics are highly experienced. This is very important to me because my truck is so old. I have found a place that I can trust to care for my vehicle. Thank you again EVERYONE for truly providing services with passion, honesty, and care !!Ms. T.

was very please with services between 2021-late 2022but with late 2022 mgmt changes i began seeing quality of service drop. Last service with air condition unit in rear of van. air worked fine after their service but squeaky sound in the area they worked on. took back multiple times. tech who worked on it said nothing was wrong. Finally took Van to Firestone where we use to go for service closer to our former address. Firestone discovered a small motor door was damaged where a/c was replaced by Sun. Jaimie & Sun have lost our trust...Firestone is our go to auto service again.

The manager set poor expectations for the time it would take to repair the car. I was told the service needed would require two hours of work. However, it actually took 5 hours to complete the repair. The manager did not care and made no accommodations like a ride to and from Sun Auto. He has a nonchalant attitude and the personality of a rock. My vehicle has been serviced at Sun Auto since it was Louetta Automotive. The service level has continuously declined since the acquisition and management changes frequently. I will not return.

Great job and customer service. I went in for an AC Repair. I was scared because I had a previous bad experience with another auto repair shop nearby. But I had nothing to worry about. From the minute I called the man at the phone was very helpful and honest. When I went to the shop they were polite and kind enough to answer all my questions. They even ran me through my car s diagnostic and issues. They worked fast fixing my car s AC, and everything is working great so far. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone and I will be coming back!

I went to them for a second opinion after a dealership quoted me urgent repairs of $6000 for transfer case etc. Sunauto did a detailed diagnosis and found nothing. I found them to be an honest and reliable place for your car needs. Repair services and prices are better than most other places.

Normally a 4 star review for courtesy and getting an alignment done first thing in the morning, however, 1 star for driving 30 miles and realizing steering was pulling to the left (driver side). Returned home with 2 wheel studs snapped and the remaining lug nuts holding on by a thread. All other tires torqued to spec except for the tire taken off.

They honored a promotion from the previous company before they were bought out so I was very happy about that. All employees are very nice and work has been done as promised. I will continue to have my car serviced here.

BEWARE !!! Do not use this location . Took my jeep in for an oil change , tire rotation and state inspection. They immediately called me saying it would not pass inspection due to tires. They said they would run pick them up and put them on . Jeep there all day and never put on tires. Picked it back up and took it back the following saturday. They put new tires on and they were not even close to what i requested. Mind you they were matching the spare on back. Then they tried to pass them off and not say anything hoping i would drive off. Ended up having to put back on my old tires. Total 4 trips there and all i got was an oil change. Worst part is i found out tires would definitely pass inspection and since has been inspected by a reputable shop. This place does not care about the customer , your time or your vehicle. They just want to up sell and make huge profits. They also misdiagnosed another issue (leak). Because of their greed and incompetence they lost a customer that brings 7 vehicles total to them. (Jeep,Corolla,Acadia,Chevy truck,BMW, Trailblazer and a Lincoln which is now sold)

I've been to this Sun Auto location a couple of times now for routine maintenance, inspections, etc. and service has been great. They're quick and prices are reasonable/competitive with other shops. They did recommend some additional services but didn't pressure me or try to upsell me into stuff I don't need like many shops try. I recommend Sun Auto and will definitely go back next time I need services or repairs.

Excessively long wait for a simple state inspection for registration.11:30am arrival1:50pm exit2 hours of waiting for a 1/2 hour test. Would not come back for any other car business. I can only imagine what the wait for an actual repair would take.My wife went to Valvoline and was able to get this completed in 20 minutes. No wait time. I went do my inspection, and after done, they also checked my brake systems without me telling them to do so, for free, which will help to identify issue before it happens.Thank you for that extra service for free.

Everything is good. But didn t passed inspection because window tint dark. I do understand you following gov request , but If I get ticket from officer; that s my owned responsibility. However, if my car get break in because someone see item inside, will you pay for it? It has been almost a year since I have visited this business. I came in for 110k mile check up for my '14 Corolla. Since I will will be driving more frequently, I wanted to have a piece of mind. They recommend new spark plugs, tire rotation, wheel alignment, fuel injection service, and found theserpentine belt needed to be replaced.I keep track of all my expenses for my car so I know what I have spent previously. The overall service took half a day. My car drives better now. I am pleased with the work. See you on my next oil change.

Don't really live the area but I stop by cause I needed an oil change. I was pleased with the friendly greet from more than one staff member. I told him what I needed and they jump right on it. One of the guys came to me and simply explained my car needs no pressure. What I didn't realize was my tire tread was worn all the way down. The gentleman escorted me outside to show me my tires. I'm so glad he did cause I was on my way to Dallas the following morning. Long story short I go my tires replaced cause the wire was showing on the inside of my tire. Never would have seen it for myself, just glad to know my cars was completely checked. Even though I live 30min out the way I would definitely be back for other service work. They also left me with a list of future services to do. Wonderful Wonderful experience. Highly recommend these guys to anyone. Awesome service !!!!!!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great experience. They changed my oil on my BMW with the oil I desired which was Mobil 1 Euro at a more than fair price. They also got a new tire to balance out that I took to two different Firestone centers that couldn't . Overall great experience. We went the Fulshear location. Very bad experience. We went for state inspection. Our car is very well maintained. He changed the blades & charged us almost 60$ & still didn t pass the inspection saying need to do the brakes. No need for the brakes absolutely well maintained car. Waited for 2hours as well. Didn t get well answers as well. If you have tinted windows on your car DO NOT use this facility for your state inspection. They will will take your car in, see that you have tint. Fail you for inspection and charge you for it.The right thing to do is tell the client upfront that you will fail them. Not take their money then fail themI went to another local shop who was honest enough to take out a measuring device show me how it works and showed me the tint was in fact at a legal limit BEFORE they did the full inspection and taking my money.That is how business should be done.Sun Auto Service is running a scam on local clients. Beware. They hide behind corporate policy.Find yourself a good honest independent shop that values your business. They are out there! Sun Auto is not one of them.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

I bought a 5 oil change plan from Sun Auto, so every 5000 miles I visited them for the scheduled oil change.The way they work, you cannot see what they are doing in your car, "insurance reasons".My last 5000 mile milestone caught me in Florida, so I got the oil changed in a small facility that allowed watching what they were doing.There I found out that Sun Auto not only broke the threads of the oil plug (an easy over-torque mistake), they tried to hide it by adding a rubber/plastic gasket when a brand new undamaged plug would have costed less than 5 bucks in any close-by auto part store.If that phony gasket would have failed, the entire oil content of the engine would have landed in the highway and my engine would have been destroyed.On top of that, the oil filter Sun Auto installed was sized for a small car, not for the V8 5.4L engine in my truck, a cheap cost-cutting maneuver.I still have one more pre-paid oil change with them, I'm gonna skip it in full, these guys are a bunch of smiling and friendly crooks.And if they are doing this on something as simple as an oil change, I cannot imagine the shortcuts they could be taking in more important services like transmission fluid replacement or brake work.The shop in Florida took the extra 10 minutes and extra 5 bucks to get the plug replaced with a brand new one, and installed the proper oil filter for my engine.I will never take my SUV to Sun Auto again.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Great, honest service as always!
