I should have read all the negative reviews first. I drove 20 minutes here because it said "EXPRESS" sticker shop, which I assumed meant it would be quick. To be quick and efficient usually means you drive up, they quickly inspect, and you drive off. It's not complicated at all. So I drove up like a normal person.Instead, the man with "little P" energy came out with his hands waving and nodding his head NO. He said I needed to park and come in. OK, you already lost your "express" status by wasting time and making people come in like its 1977. I mean, they can do whole oil changes with you in the car now. I don't mind getting out, but I had my dog, and I wasn't going to trust these smooth brained men with my dog. So I just left.If you're going to call it express maybe work on the express part. There was literally no one there when I drove up, and they were all sitting inside doing nothing. I'm guessing they are just being lazy or doing something shady so they don't want you around when they do it. That's the only reason I can think for them to make things more difficult. Either that or they are really just not that smart. I'm thinking it's more the last one.

Quick, efficient, and affordable.This place won't win awards for looks but they will get you in and out in record time so I'm not really sure its relevant.The crew are good and make for a smooth interaction.I highly recommend coming earlier in the day rather than later as they can get busy.

One of the best sticker places in town. The crew is cool, but they don t have any time for nonsense and they re attitude shows it. It s hot, and they re quick about it. People are usually waiting, so they get the job done quickly. Not much time for niceties. Highly recommend. Parking is tight, so go early.

This establishment doesn t have the right individual to be able to work on German vehicles. They have no understanding how an electronic parking brake works in your German vehicle. It s very sad I waste my time today.

The manager was extremely rude. I drove around back as you would normally do at one of these facilities and instead of being courteous and coming to my window to talk to me he pointed at my vehicle aggressively and pointed at the front of the shop. When I roll down my window to ask where I m supposed to go, he rudely told me that I needed to drive back around and I should ve seen the signs, so I left and took my business elsewhere.

It's fine. Quick and competent. Not very friendly, not elegant facilities, but does that really matter? They get the job done. I don't know how they make any money. Prices haven't increased along with so much inflation elsewhere. Take it easy on these guys, as I see it, it's basically a public service.

I enjoyed coming here for my state inspections. I d come here every year with all my vehicles. This ended today. 2-6-2023 8:30 AM. I didn t see the sign and rather than the employee saying Good morning, I see you missed the sign. We have zero business today so I m happy to help you, just next time would you please park in the front . Instead he said I need you to move your car, you didn t see the big sign bring me your keys and follow my directions . No thank you. Go ahead and sit in your office on your phone exercising your power rather than simply give good customer service and give someone a break. Good job!Bonus! Looks like from other reviews you have had a lot of success in driving business away with the big sign . Well done it s clearly an effective tool to help you decrease your business traffic.

As other folks have already stated, the employees are rude, unhelpful, unprofessional and belligerent. As an owner of a small business, I would have fired the employee on the spot for treating a prospective customer in the manner I experienced today. Since there are so many polite testing stations throughout Houston, don't waste your time and steer clear of this awful place.

Oct 2023 UPDATE same fast service, in and out in 10 minutes @ 10 a.m. on a tuesday, I hope they can stay in business for the emissions test that will still be required for Harris County********Oct 21 Update - Once again, in and out quickly (25 minutes) on a friday morning, one vehicle in front of me finishing up when I got there****Oct 2020 Update - Same story - in and out in 15 minutes, went weekday morning, was the only one there, no upcharges, could not have been better. ***Update- Another October, another inspection sticker needed, another 20 minute in-and-out. They did need to replace a brake light that had gone out which they did for a reasonable $8.***I have used this place for my inspection for the last four years. Always on a weekday morning, in and out in under 30 minutes each time, never charged more than the basic price (no upselling). The waiting area is pretty spartan, but since I have never had to spend more than 30 minutes there (usually closer to 20), it was not a problem.

Quick, easy & efficient. When I walked in there were quite a few people ahead of me. I was expecting a long wait, but not on Daniel's watch!! He works incredibly efficiently getting cars in and out. Impressive!

Quick, affordable service with no frills. They keep their parking open even with the parking demand of Trills Burgers next door (Trills is really good tho)

Very nice guy, not too busy on a weekday. Unfortunately couldn't pass meBecause of some cracks and water intrusion in my taillight, but 4 stars because he told me ahead of time and DID NOT CHARGE me. For that, I was grateful to him.

It is fast because there were only two customers before me. The store does NOT require mask so the desk person and inspector both do no wear mask. I do not like it. The waiting area is so small and uncomfortable that I have to take the chair waiting outside the store. The inspection process was very fast, much shorter than I had in other places. I am not sure what it means. but anyway, I finished the inspection.

Terrible customer service! Guys seem high and the owner is just as bad. John the owner has absolutely zero concern of how is guys run his business. Now I drove right across the street to the Mobil Lube Express and in and out in less then 5 mins. Anyone who reads this do not waste your time going to the business! Extremely unhappy with the way I was treated as I am new to the area. This is my experience and I hope everyone how reads this listens to me so they do not have the same experience.

Avoid like the plague. Nasty squalid place. Extremely rude, aggressive, vulgar, and threatening staff member. Left and went to Valvoline on Kirby who were very polite & professional.

They do their job at a record pace. There's a Kroger about 10 minutes away up the road so you can get your sticker by the way.

I was going there for the past 5 or 6 years and it was OK, fast, no problem. This morning it was absolutely terrible. The guy who was there was absolutely horrible, barking at me and when I said it could be nice, he threw my insurance doc by the window saying I could go somewhere else. I had never seen that sort of gross attitude in any business. I just hope he will be fired soon.

Went in today. No one else was there. A Porsche came in 10 minutes after me and their inspection was completed 5 minutes before mine. Also, service was just okay. The inside waiting area looks like they haven't cleaned it in at least 10 years. Will be going somewhere else next time. If you don't keep up with the area your customers stay while work is performed, you don't care about your customers.

Been coming here for a few years with a few cars. The shop is straightforward with the inspection and I've not had any negative interactions. The guys there have always been polite.

Totally rude. I ve been coming here for years with no problems before. The place is dirty but that doesn t really bother me. However, I stopped by today, no other customers were present, so I parked my car across a few spots in a way that would make it easier for them to drive it directly into their brake test area. I came inside, and the cashier told me I had to repark my car before they would look at it. I told him I know they re about to drive it directly away and that I parked it so he wouldn t have to back it up (the rear window still had condensation making it difficult to see). He said everyone has to park the same. I wasn t blocking anyone, as no one else was here. Never coming back. When I left, I commented that I wasn t blocking anyone, and that I was never coming back. He said, Good. Along with a few other choice words I won t repeat.

When I entered with my proof of insurance, two employees were behind the counter. One of them said "that's a good looking sticker, but we are getting ready to close for lunch." The sign outside shows continuous hours. He told me to come back in 30 minutes. I went across the street to Kwik Kar. Got an inspection right away. I won't be back to Stickerstop even though I've been a customer for years.

Today s guy Darryll is EXCELLENT! Fast, efficient, friendly and polite, AND his co-worker didn t show up today so he s doubly busy! I see from reviews it s hit or miss, but as long as he s working here, I ll keep getting my car inspected here.

I have been going to Sticker Stop that is located next to Rock n Robin for over 20 years. I normally have 2 or 3 cars/trucks. I started going here because it is best to go to a place that does not sell repairs. That way there is no conflict of interest. The only issue I ever had with this was over 20 years ago when they said my gasoline cap was leaky and I had to get a new one. They offered to sell me a new one for some ridiculous price like $35 (this was in the 1990s). I was shocked and I asked the guy at the counter if he would buy a new gas cap for $35. He answered, "no" and told me I could go to most gas stations and they would have a big box of gas caps that people had left behind and they would give me one for free. So, I did that. Also, I think back then they they might have been trying to sell windshield wipers to people. Anyway, they haven't tried to sell me anything in over 15 years.One thing I like about Sticker Stop is their computers immediately update the Texas DPS and I can immediately go home and pay for my registration on the Texas DPS website.An issue that comes up from time to time is that some of the people are very rude. Understand that you may need to put up with that. I just ignore the rude people because they are fast and simple and I don't have to put up with a lot of petty issues. But, some people have complained about petty issues that Sticker Stop have come up with. All I can say is I act friendly and polite and follow orders that are barked at me quickly. I just want to pass the inspection and get on with other things and Sticker Stop gives me a way to do that.My philosophy is not to turn my life into an effort of trying to control other people's behaviors (rude drivers, rude waiters, etc). By ignoring all of that I get through life easier with less conflict and do not waste my time trying to control other people's behavior.

If I could give a zero I would. First of all the customer service here doesn t even exist. The 3 gentlemen working here are worthless. I came in to get an inspection. I have a 2018 Range Rover and I was told they can t pass inspection because the window tint was to dark. I asked how that could be, it s stock off the dealership floor. The guy simply said, not my problem, so go to the dealership and get an inspection. I brushed it off and got into my car, noticed a large scratch in my tint on the driver side window. I went in and asked to speak with the person who checked the window, the other guy says to me, we didn t do that we are not responsible and walks away and back to the bay. Wow! Because it was right we re you put the test machine. Unbelievable! I simply said I will be contacting the owner and left.

How can an inspection station not even know the law, that is their basic job. I had a rear tail light with a crack, professionally repaired with thick sealed plastic of the correct color. They claim no repairs of light shielding is allowed. I rechecked the rules and regs when I got home and that is nonsense... only the light must work, be clearly visible, and be the correct color. Inspection for vehicle compliance requires that you know what the law is!...not make it up as you go along. I went to another shop and passed without any comment. I have been going here ten years with multiple vehicles and have always been happy with the service ... I will not be back. To the owner: you might want to rethink who you have working here as the two guys are gong to kill your business!

Use to be handy, always empty. But went the twice since Dec 2022 and the machine for the inspection. This last they where rude don t you read the big sign? . Never again

Usually can get in and out with a successful report in 20 minutes, which is appreciated. I drove around different mechanic shops just to see if I could get an inspection within an hour and was always told no, or yes-but end up leaving after an hour when nobody would care that I was still sitting in their lobby.
