This place is conveniently located and clean. However, they were not respectful or communicative. I stopped in three times to try to get my car inspected - even calling first (as one employee suggested) to make sure that someone would be available. They finally assured me on the phone that their one inspector was available, and I could come right over. I rushed over, only to discover that the inspector had gone out for a while. When I asked the man at the desk why I would have been told on the phone to come in for the inspection only 7 minutes earlier, he said "we don't take appointments." No apology, no consideration for my time, or that fact that "someone else" who answered the phone had instructed me to come into an inspection.

Initially my impression of them was good. I needed my brake pads changed and my rotors resurfaced, possibly replaced but for the mean time I wanted them resurfaced. I brought my own brake pads which I paid a decent amount for and I had already had the back ones done. After everything was completed my car ran so much better so no complaints there but after a day or two my brakes started squealing. I had received a follow up text from them and said everything was running better but mentioned the squealing was the only other thing I noticed. The response I got was because I used cheap brake pads!! Which I thought was laughable and unnecessary to text me back like that. The aftermath of the service is where they lost me due to their unprofessionalism. I had intended to purchase tires from them as well but I didn t appreciate them being salty over me bringing in my own brake pads. I can understand by not using theres, there s more lack of guarantee but it could ve been worded better and replied with more care than yelling at me via text. NEXT!

Received a vehicle inspection today and the staff was very friendly and efficient. Station also has a nice seating area inside while you wait.

Total rip off. Double check the part prices, they charge more than the dealership for parts. When I brought up to the owner, Rick, he told me I didn't know when I was talking about. Bad service and a bad attitude.

It can be difficult to find a good, honest and professional auto service repair and body shop which is why I ve decided to share my experience with Myerland Auto Service. I would highly recommend using them for all your automotive needs. They were so easy to work with and Rick White (owner) helped me navigate through the process and made it look easy. This was the best experience I have had and recommend that you start your search with them at the top if the list. The outside service man was very rude and impolite. He spoke and acted as though he was doing me a favor. His demeanor was as if I owed him something. I will never conduct any business with them again. That's just how terrible my experience with them was.

I was told that as long as I got there before 4:40 that I could get a state inspection. But when I got there way before 4:40, I was turned away because they didn t have anywhere to park cars.

Went here for an oil change today. after being charged a whopping $108 (no pricing or options listed anywhere in this business) I pay and go check my oil level. They overfilled my car, then tried to say it s fine, my car will burn oil fast. After going back and forth, he agrees with me that there is a max fill line for a reason, and being overfilled is not good for my vehicle . after JUST saying my car would be fine. I had him suck overfill out of my car. Never offered me a refund for the now trashed oil they charged me for.Now that i m home, i notice multiple oil marks inside my vehicle, including on my cloth seat. That s gonna be fun to get out. I feel scammed and overcharged by these people. AVOID this place if you re looking for knowledgeable mechanics and good service.

Got my state inspection here. The best $7 I have spent in quite a while. I was 1st one in the door and it was finished in less than 15 minutes, giving me just enough time to beat traffic to tax office. This place will be getting more business from me as my car ages.

This is David and let me start by saying they were very helpful and friendly in addition to being able to get a job done that they originally were not thinking was possible in time for me to go on my long road trip. For those reasons I am giving four stars, however I can t give five stars due to the very mention timeline being that it would be done Friday or Monday afternoon at the latest and it almost didn t get done till Tuesday late morning. Now while this was not on them as parts were not there when planned. They learned about the parts as soon as they ordered them and I didn t hear about it till the next day. I would prefer a timeline after checking on the parts with the shipment or just telling me a later time that might be more accurate.This said though they were very responsive and helpful and did manage to get it done before I needed to leave even going so far as to stay open for 30 minutes past there normal time. So thank you all so much it was a pleasure working with you and when I m in the area again and need a repair I will be sure to return.

WILL CHANGE YOUR RADIO PRESETS. Who does that?? Was a bad experience from the beginning with how the man at the counter was so rude about the type of oil they use to them not doing appointments (even though the website has an appointment form, so OK). Will be my first and last choice to go to this place. Jiffy Lube has better service and it s a freaking chain.

READ BEFORE ANY LARGE REPAIRS: I ve been taking my families 5 cars here over the last few years for state inspections, oil changes and other standard maintenance work. They were fast and reliable. However, I recently had a car that needed a new catalytic converter. After charging me 150% for the part and adding some unnecessary work to my bill for good measure, they quoted me $3500 to fix it. Feeling suspicious I immediately called the DEALERSHIP for my car and they were able to completely repair my car for $1600 (parts + labor). This place had charged me $1900 just for the part. The woman with dark hair that s there every day in charge of office work, lied to my face without hesitation and the tall white mechanic that looked over my car is a crook. I curse this place to financial ruin and will take every opportunity I have to tarnish the reputation of this establishment. Boss: those two workers are degenerates and you d do well to get rid of them.

I went for a inspection they were very quick. In waiting room they have great chairs and of course you can buy any foods you want at their station. Workers are always nice and very competent. Would definitely reccomend

Went for a state inspection and was told I needed to replace a couple of tires. I was quoted a price and at the end, the price almost double. What a rip off!!! I'll NEVER RECOMMENDthis place to anyone. Was extremely disappointed and would like people to know so they won't go and get ripped off.After posting this review, Meyerland Service realized that a mistake was done on the total of the bill and was refunded the money that was over paid. For that reason. I'm giving this service station a 5 star for their professionalism and service. Thank you for your honesty.Service: Tires

We ve been longtime customers of Rick and his team and they always do a fabulous job - whether it s regular service or an unexpected problem. My dad was a customer before us and told us about them, and now we ve sent many people there. Everyone comes away happy. I highly recommend them.

I go to this place and I pay for diagnostic (for my a/c) and the tell me a lot of things, I agree to do the job because they told me everything it s going to be done (1300 and change). Next day the surprise they tell me I need another part to really fix the car, I tell them I can t afford it (1000 more) and take to real mechanic and he test the part they said I need and was good. And the real fix by was a part that only cost 70 dollars. Very disappointed

I don't like to write bad reviews, as I feel it's really tough for all businesses these days, but I honestly can't recommend Meyerland Service Station because I felt that the business was dishonest. I came for a vehicle inspection. I went the previous year and everything was fine. However, the 2nd year I went one of my rear lights on my vehicle was out. At first they told me I needed a new light which would be ~$30. I proceeded to pay for it, but after about 20 minutes the tech Rick came inside the shop and told me that a new light wasn't working and that I needed a new circuit board. They said that they called BMW and could get a new one in for about $200 + labor fees which put me at about $260. I obliged because I figured if it was something I needed to get done, might as well go for it.I drive away and they call me back a few hours later once they have the circuit board from BMW. They try installing it and then telling me that the light still won't work because the light itself does not have the right connections. They told me to take the vehicle to BMW to have the proper light installed and that they could no longer help me. The part I'm really upset about is that they did not refund me the price I paid for the circuit board or the light bulb, as those 2 things did not fix my problem. Instead, they sent me to the dealership where I probably should have gone in the first place. I think it's right for me to pay for my service if that was what would correct the issue, but they charged me for parts that I did not need and I ended up going to BMW to get a new rear light altogether. Needless to say, I won't be back to do my inspections/service here nor would I recommend anyone else come here.

The customer service in the front was great, Kristen helped me out & was accommodating. They have a fun spin-the-wheel for customer. They got to my car really quickly, i was there a total of 15-20 minutes. Will be coming back again.

My sister took in my 2012 Camry in last October for a flashing check engine light. After the diagnosis, they told her that it needed six coils and spark plugs, as well as BG fuel and air induction service. She agreed and the work proceeded. Later my car broke down in San Antonio and I took it to a local shop and they found a misfire code. The technicians showed me that the three spark plugs and coils in the back of the engine were still original and had never been replaced. The technician showed me that my throttle body was covered in black carbon which meant that the BG service had never been performed. Needless to say we will never take any of our vehicles back to this shop and we will never recommend it to any of our friends.

Excellent service, friendly staff, and their loaner car allows me to keep on rolling while my car is being worked on. I drive an older vehicle than most folk, but I always feel safe because the Meyerland Service Station mechanics do a thorough inspection on my vehicle then consult me regarding the level of priority as to whether the work needs immediate attention or not. It's a no fuss kind of thing. They're trust worthy. Thanks Meyerland Service Station, keep up the great work !!!!

These guys were great. I moved into the area & brought in my car. It was seamless to get a rental car, George called me once they diagnosed my wheel issues and was very patient & thorough throughout. Safe to say they earned my business. Thanks!
