I just learned today that my boat was the last one to be serviced/warrantied by Finishline Marine under the current owner Mike as they were bought out and will be under new ownership in the days to come. Even though they were not taking any new work during this transition Mike was was more than willing to help me get my boat fixed for warranty repair and turned it around in a couple of short days. I wanted to give this business a 5 star rating as it s last client under Mike and hope to give 5 star ratings in the future under new ownership. Thank you for your service Mike and happy retirement!

I wanted to thank the whole crew at finish line marine for being honest and helping me rectify the problems I have had with my Yamaha 250 outboard. Easy check in, easy to talk with the staffing what I needed done. Family owned for over 25 years, I love supporting local family owned and run businesses. Thank you for being honest and informative.

I live in Katy, TX and Finish Line has serviced my my 2006 Suzuki for many years. Although I keep my boat in nearby San Leon, it's still a pretty good haul to make the trip down to have my boat serviced.Over the years I've had nothing but great service and customer care from these folks - - which is why I keep coming back.

Just had my boat repaired here. They worked with the warranty on my Yamaha, delivered my boat back to me with a few adjustments to steering and shifting no charge. I found some loose wires when I inspected and they hustled out and fixed it right up. Clean shop nice service

First off, I would give you zero stars if I would. No body was trying to make a purchase using someone else credit without there knowledge. My husband and I looked for the boat and my in law was going to give us her credit. You act like she wasn't going to have to go to the dealer and sign the paper, and using someone else credit is not illegal as long as they agree and sign the paperwork. Thank God this deal didn't go thru. You are trying to sell a boat that doesn't work good and needs to have at least $3500 to $4000 put in to it. Y'all are lairs and unprofessional. Have the face to call people and talk to them directly. Don't hide in back of your computer screen and don't act like your not at your dealership when we call.

I have been going there for years for parts. The only reason was it was near my house. Most of the time they order the wrong parts over looked it because they where close. They sold me the wrong gear lube once, water pump a couple of times. I just have a limited a mount of time off to do the work and when you have to keep ordering and returning parts that eats up all MY TIME! that is important to me. the finial straw was I tied to order parts for my trailer. I kept getting the run around that the trailer company wouldn't get back to them. Finally got a email a week later. Tried to call for 2 days and got a busy signal. Kept calling then they would asker and hang up. It is clear they don't want my business. What happened to costumer service. And before the owner writes back talking about how it was my fault. I gave the engine number so for parts should be no question. And for getting hung up on 5 times in one day I don't know. So from now on I'll take my business some where else. Probably want matter to you but it will to me.

I have taken my boat there for service in the past with no complaints besides the wait time. I have even recommended them on numerous occasions. This time however I cannot say anything good. I was put on a 3 week wait list just to bring it in ( OK, I can understand being slammed busy). Brought it to them towards the later part of September, telling them I had gunk in my fuel line and my alarm was going off when I tried to get on plane. 3 weeks later they call to tell me there is a fuel problem (Isn't that what I told you when I dropped it off?). 2 weeks later they call to tell me my boat is ready. I paid my bill, picked up my boat and went back to work. After work, took it to the local ramp to test drive it. I didn't even start the motor knowing they didn't fix the problem. ( Mercury motors sound an all clear "beep" when you turn the key to the on position). Alex told me to bring it back and they would fix it. They trouble shot and even talked with a Mercury tech from somewhere. Alex said they wanted to change the wiring harness to see if that was the problem. I gave the go ahead and low and behold they found a rat chewed into my wiring harness. That was near the beginning of November. Went to pick it up and my nav lights, bilge pump and live well pump wouldn't come on. I left it for them to fix. The Monday after thanksgiving the technician Micheal called and said that the rat chewed into those wires as well. I told him to go ahead and fix it. This past Wednesday 2 1/2 weeks later Alex calls to tell me the exact same thing Micheal told me. I told Alex about the conversation Micheal and I had, then asked if any of the work was done. He called back with a resounding NO. Alex's words were " you're an electrician, you can do it probably faster than we can. We can do it if you want, but...) I picked my boat up this morning, brought it home and found that the tech had cut every wire in my bilge area! Definitely CUT! No chew marks! Perfectly cut wires. Like he said I'm an electrician and I definitely know what a CUT vs chewed wire looks like. I can see cutting them to source a problem but they were not marked or labeled to what they went to or where from. The chewed wiring was near my console not in the bilge near the transom. I was nothing but polite throughout these past months. The service that I received was anything but professional. Why did it take so long? I fully believe that my boat was put at the back of the list with every problem. I may be wrong on this one but I think they only have parts changers working there ( plug it in and change the parts the computer tells you to) not a true mechanic. I think that once a persons boat comes up to be fixed they should stay on that boat until it's fixed. I'm truly disappointed because I trusted these guys, put my name on them for recommending them to my friends and to my customers whose bay front homes I work on and now I feel that they bent me over on time and a lot of money because you didn't want to work on my problem and I'm still without a working boat! Congratulations on being just another company who has lost a customer because you couldn't deliver on a promise. I will never take my boat there again or recommend them for anything. There is a reason why they don't have an answering machine. I also keep my boat in my garage. I think that the rats got in while it sat in there yard next to an open unmowed field. Also they will not fix anything fuel related.
