Went in for an inspection on our 2022 Ford Edge which was performed by Billy. Great customer service and I asked him if he could air up all 4 tires which he did promptly. There were 2 vehicles ahead of me, but the wait was not too long! I go to Valvoline Express Care for all of my vehicle needs. Highly recommend this place.

This has always been a great experience with their service. They are courteous and very professional,They give very thorough and prompt service. I am so impressed watching them work together. They all have a friendly manner and not hurried to get you out.Special shout out to, BILLY, one of the employees who waited on me today. He is one of the hardest workers there. He took time to explain to me one of the problems with my car such that I could understand the significance of getting this done today,I highly recommend Valvoline Express Care at Hewitt, Tx. for routine vehicle maintenance,Roger Cowart

Oil change and inspection. All finished in minutes. These folks were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Plus, a great price! Been going here for about five years. Lived in Hewitt/Lorena for almost 10 years.

I have been coming to this place for years! I have always been greeted politely and the crew gets me in and out quickly! Chase, the manager is very direct and knowledgeable! Overall a 5 out of 5!

I have taken my cars to this Valvoline Express in Hewitt numerous times and have never had an issue. However this time, there was an employee named Will who was so loud laughing, carrying on and cursing (F bombs) the entire time I was there. He could be heard in the lobby over the TV. Very unprofessional and I am certainly glad I did not have any kids with me. I do not expect that kind of work ethic. Not only does it sew doubt about how they are treating your car but also is in danger of losing a customer.

It can change if you can tell me & fix it why after transmission fluid flush my cruise control went out of service and never engage back in ever since have now idea how it's connected! But my biggest problem is that same time was told my battery is fine when I knew it was not a cell was going into sleeping in it so don't know how well and throughout the service was at all that day but not confident about thoroughness if 3 errors in one service occured at once!Service: Transmission

Went in for an inspection. I was greeted immediately and asked to pull near the bay. Techs immediately began working on my vehicle. Communication was professional and timely. Thank you for making this process easy.

I had my oil changed on 1/25. Two days later the skid plate/ splash guard under my car buckled in the wind. I called this location and was told it wasn't really a big deal, and just to have it taken off since "the car doesn't really need it". I went to another valvoline location and they took it off and told me it was secured with just two bolts, not six. I went back to this valvoline on 1/30 and explained what had happened and that the plate was in my trunk. They pulled it into the bay and then told me it was done. Today I opened my trunk and the splash guard it still there. I'm not sure what they did last week but it wasn't reinstall the part they hadn't put on correctly on 1/25.

Worst service ever.vwent in for oil change cost was 30-50 dollars. Ended up paying 240+dollars. Car is 2016 Nissan with 30,000 miles, said I needed injector flush and cabin filter. They took advantage of me and didn't even put correct amount of oil in car. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY. GOTO WALMART OR SOMEPLACE ELSE. PLEASE

I visited this location again this year for an oil change and inspection. I was in and out fairly quickly. The staff was super friendly and made the wait entertaining. I was very quickly greeted by an extremely warm, friendly, professional gentlemen who appeared extremely resourceful and very eager to help. He then directed me indoors where I took an available seat in the cool air as I waited for my car. I must say that although this place was extremely busy, they had me in and out of there very quickly, especially for how thorough they were. To my surprise, their prices were actually fair and I didn't leave there feeling as though I had just been ripped off. I will most definitely be returning to this particular place of business. Yesterday 4/18/23 i stopped at Valvoline Express for to have my car inspected. I couldn t have asked for better service. The servicemen were friendly, attentive and very helpful. I was in and out quickly. The friend that was with me was so impressed she said she would start taking her car to them for oil changes and car inspections. I highly recommend this location.

Went in for an inspection and thankfully, Billy checked my fluids and showed me what they were supposed to look like, vs what they actually looked like. He took care of those for me as well as answered questions for me outside of what we were having done with a smile on his face. Chase, the mgr came over and offered his expertise on my ac questions. They got me taken care of pretty quick for a great price. Don't judge every Valvoline by its head gasket. I didn't realize each V was independently owned, but this shop proved themselves worthy of my newly found trust. I watched them afford great courtesy to a customer who, on "Ladies Day", would have have ripped it right off my calendar. They offered a no-pressure opinions about my filters and brakes. Knowing the conditions beforehand, I was happy to oblige their recommended services rather than chase my tail around town to find a better deal. Sometimes it's not just the price that matters, it's passive-aggressive justice for the ones who've taken advantage of me before. Thanks guys.

This shop has been saving me throughout the years, unknowingly. They provide an extremely quick service that is still of high quality with flexible availability. Their fees are reasonable, which is always a great motivator in itself. I highly recommend going here for your state inspection or oil changes!

This was an absolutely terrible experience from the moment I arrived. I came as soon as they opened and was met by a sleepy eyed unkept young man, who appeared and smelt like he might have still been intoxicated from the night before. I persisted past my instincts and asked them to perform an oil change on my car. I was never consulted on what type of oil was going in my car. I had to stick my head out and ensure I was getting full synthetic. The sleepy young man then came in the waiting area and tried to sell me both cabin and engine air filters, which I replaced myself the day before. He assured me they were dirty and needed to be replaced. I told him not to worry about it. My car was completed and I paid, only to find out the next day when I was not in the Waco area that my car was leaking oil. I ve had to now take my vehicle to a reputable mechanic that showed me that the Valvoline Express Care employee didn t tighten the oil reservoir plug properly and the plug was leaking oil. This whole experience cost me an additional $150 in mechanics fees and oil. I don t recommend anyone take their vehicles here for anything. Period.Service: Oil change

~TERRIBLE & TERRIFYING~I wish there was a way that I could leave no stars but a review that would be great right now. I just left there around 4:00 me and my dad went up there to get an oil change and what we witnessed WAS TERRIBLE it was so terrible we got in there and the guys that were doing my dad's truck were great.. We were there all of 5 MINS before we heard a LOUD noise from in the garage so I went out to make sure it was ok and WHEN I OPENED THE DOOR THERE STOOD AND ELDERLY LADY CRYING I asked her if she was ok. Could I do anything for her? the man at her car was named "CHASE' I watched him, as he slung tools,cussed loudly about his situation and how now he was gonna be late to his kids bday cuz he had to do this ladies car.UNBELIEVABLE!!! However there was an elderly lady , all she wanted to do was get her car fixed so she can get to Oklahoma.she came in to the sitting area with me and Dad and sat there and cried . just upset by this man's behavior and I went out think there and I asked him what the problem was ??!what is the deal because he is upsetting this lady in there crying..YOUR CUSTOMER IS IN THERE CRYING BECAUSE YOU WERE SCARRING HER and she's afraid. And u continued for a while that same loud and disrespectful behavior while that elderly lady sat inside terrified and crying. In all my 50 years on this earth I have NEVER EXPERIENCED THAT..And after all that it only took him 15 mins to fix her car. UNBELIEVABLE...

This is my go to place for state safety inspections, and once again I was not disappointed. They told me I needed new windshield wiper blades, so I told him to go ahead. He estimated at $12-$14 per blade, but when I got rung up they were $25 & $23, respectively. I questioned this, and the manager confirmed that I have not been quoted a price before installation, so he refunded $20 off of my bill. I greatly appreciated that they did this, but they should have I will continue using them and am happy to recommend them.

They do an ok job, but they used synthetic oil without asking me. It's true that's what Kia calls for, but would have appreciated being asked. I was a little surprised at the $90+ price for such a small engine. Then the sticker they gave me calls for another oil change in 5000 miles. Manufacturer says every 7500 miles. Probably won't be back.

Friendly guys and great service!I visited several years ago and had a very unpleasant experience. In fact, I told myself I d never be back. However, I got in a bind this weekend and they were convenient. This visit was drastically different than my first! I ll be back again!

This place should be shut down. The first time I went to get my oil changed I was told the gentlemen who does the oil changes was currently on their lunch break. The second time I tried to get an oil change at this same Hewitt location, I was told it was too cold outside for an oil change. I went down the street to Take 5 Oil Change and did not have a problem getting an oil change. Friendly and Fast service with no excuses.
