Trusted to take my car here because it was highly recommended on google and now I can see why! I Took my car into replace the starter and they were all so friendly and quick! Got my car back in under 2 hours! They even fixed the plastic cover thing under my car that was dragging! Such professional service! Will definitely do business with them again!

I had a truly terrible experience with Hills Auto Mechanic in Harker Heights, Texas. The front desk girl at this establishment is, without a doubt, the rudest and most unprofessional individual I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. It doesn't matter if she's the daughter of a mechanic there; her attitude is completely unacceptable. Every single interaction with her left me feeling disrespected and undervalued as a customer.The reason I brought my car to Hills Auto Mechanic was due to a burning smell and the strong odor of gas. They diagnosed the issue as an exhaust problem and replaced it. However, after they replaced the exhaust, the smell got even worse. I called up the shop, and Hill (the owner, I assume) told me to give it some time, claiming that the intensified smell was normal. Now, I don't drive the car often, so I decided to heed his advice and gave it some time.However, after some time, I took the car back to them today, only to be told that the smell was from another issue and that I would have to shell out over $200 to get it fixed. What's infuriating is that they claimed to have told us it was a separate issue the last time we brought it in and declined to get it repaired, which is a complete lie and makes ZERO sense. When I questioned why I was initially told that the smell would go away and why they didn't address this issue properly the first time, the young lady at the front desk got an attitude once again saying she is not a mechanic.At this point, I refuse to allow them to touch my car ever again, and I made this clear to her. She of course started with her ever evolving condescending attitude, saying I would still have to pay $140, which is absolutely ridiculous. However, if paying that amount means I can be done with this horrendous establishment and their terrible service, it's a small price to pay.To make matters even worse, after my visit, my check engine light that has never been on before, suddenly came on during my drive back home. This experience has left me utterly disappointed and frustrated with their service. Avoid Hills Auto Mechanic at all costs they're not worth the headache and frustration.

Most trustworthy mechanic in Killeen/harker heights area . They were able to fix my fuel pump in my Mercedes Benz within 1 day! 10/10

Can not say enough great things about this place- they got us in quickly, gave us an estimate on the fixes needed, charged us a super reasonable price and did not try to do extra unneeded repairs to get more $. Hill was great and Jason really went the extra mile to help ensure we understood what was going on with the car. We will be bringing our vehicles here from now on!

This is my go-to mechanic for my Mercedes. They are not the fastest with it but do excellent work. Mr. Hill and Jason are very knowledgeable and do great work at a lower cost than a Mercedes dealer and the local Euro shop.

I found this shop based on word to mouth from Facebook. I brought my car in thinking it was the valve cover gasket that needed to be replaced because I was having a pretty bad oil leak. Jason went as far as cleaning my whole engine of the oil taking the extra time to help me see if changing that part would fix the oil leak and had me come back in a week to check if the oil was still leaking. When I had come back they said it was still leaking and discovered that it was in fact the turbocharger that was leaking oil. We had got the part we needed and I brought my car and to get the turbo charger replaced and the guys worked so hard trying to get the turbocharger replaced due to a manufacturer defect in the part they were having an issue trying to get it on. After all that hard work that the boys had done they were able to fix my car! I am so thankful to all the boys there who worked on my car especially Jason who went above and beyond to help me figure out where the issue was coming from!!I highly recommend Hill's Automotive! Such a great group of guys who go above and beyond!Thank you guys!Service: Engine repair

Went here to get my dashboard lights, window motor and door handles fixed and an oil change. Spent over 1k and change to literally have my trucks transmission start to slip a mile down the road after gettin my truck back. The 3rd gear of my transmission started slipping when it did not do this prior to bringing it to Hills. He barely checked it when I drove back and tried to charge me to look at it literally immediately after he gave me my truck back plus wanted 3k to . This is how u treat soldiers wow! They did so great on my car. I didn t know what was wrong with it. I ve gone to so many places and they try to tell me this and that is wrong with it, to make me happy at more and more. This place and this owner is not like that. I was out of state and got my car towed here and this company took such good care of us! Thank you so much hills automotive ! They were so nice! And so friendly. Being a single mom of four I will never EVER take my car anywhere else! They are reliable and HONEST!!!

I spent over $400 replacing front end parts due to a loud knocking when I hit a bump. After changing my steering arms this morning to still have the knocking sound I got tried. I took the car to Mr. Hill. He test drove my car once he came back. He found the problem was a loose shrout nut. We tighten the nut now my car is running like brand new. My clutch went out on 2012 Chevy Camaro ! I was so sad ! I took it to Hills Automotive on top of the Hill!! And I swear it was a quick turnaround and I m back swinging!!! Thanks so very much ! I recommend Hill for all your automotive needs!! Very professional and the price is right!!

Had to get a license plate issue resolved quick, fast, and in a hurry. Mr. Hill was more than helpful and professional despite me showing up near closing time. He helped me expeditiously and I can't recommend his services enough.

Mr.Hill has a welcoming spirit! He is very patient and helpful when explaining to someone who doesn t understand the damage that s going on with their vehicle. I would recommend anybody who is looking to build a real relationship with a mechanic that ll help put you in the right direction with a reasonable price outside of the known dealershipWould rather go to Mr.Hill than any other dealership, if anything check here first before going anywhere. He will do you justice! Promise !!

Hill is the most respectable guy I ve met that deals with automotive repair. I use him for all of my vehicles and I ve never once had a problem out of him. Very respectable man. The employees and Mr. Hill are very professional. Not only was I in and out. They called to check and see if everything was still going well with the latch that was replaced. That s great quality customer service. I paid less than if I would have went to the dealership, for the same quality repair and wasn t there all day for a simple repair.My boyfriend takes his vehicles there as well and is always pleased as well Service: General repairs & maintenance

So grateful for a referral to this business. Mr Hill was awesome to work with... after having my car towed to his shop, he was prompt in letting me know what the problem was & how much it would cost to get me back on the road. Hill and his mechanic are a couple of the best guys I've met at a shop. Worked with me on multiple occasions with diagnosing my vehicles and does a bit of education with those diagnostics! Helps me understand better what needs to be done and why. Sometimes I swing by just to shoot the breeze with him. You can tell that he cares about getting it right for you and won't steer ya wrong. Do not get your car fixed here! They had my car there for over a month to put a transmission on and come to find out he didn t even know how to work on my kind of car. He told me out of his own mouth that he has never worked on my kind of car. My engine cover is missing and my shifter cover as well. The car sat there with the windows down the whole time as if it was being junked. He doesn t treat your vehicle right and then guesses about what may be wrong with it. This is a terrible shop and I don t recommend them to anyone. Run, Run, Run!!!! It s so bad that this man told me he would give me an illegal inspection so that I can register my car. My car was not up to standards for a passing inspection. That just goes to show how crooked this shop is.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Transmission replacement

Hills Auto Repair is amazing ! Unfortunately during the peak of our famous Texas summer & heat advisory week the AC in our vehicle quit on us! We called Hills Auto Repair and immediately they had us come in to check out what was wrong with it exactly he ordered the part we needed and called us in the next day then as the kids would say it Taaadaaa we have AC in the car again yay! Thank you Lord and Hills Auto for sending us there and getting our AC fixed so quickly ! If their service wasn t amazing in the first place they also called us after we picked our vehicle up to make sure everything was working correctly wow!!! Everyone was super friendly & professional not to mention the price we wouldn t recommend anywhere else ! Thank you Hills Auto Service: A/C installation & repair

Wow. I never get a chance to leave reviews but this man took such good care of me, I needed to make time and leave a review! I had been having a leak and my car began to nearly overheat. I went to two places before I made it to Mr.Hill. Both places wanted to charge me $100 just for a diagnosis!! I arrived 10 minutes before Mr.Hill was open. After two minutes of explaining to him what was wrong, he immediately walked out to my car with me and was under the hood. Grabbed a couple tools and in a few minutes told me my problem! AND NO CHARGE FOR THAT. Right then he was ready to take my car in and give me a quote for my parts! He even offered a ride home since my ride was going to be a while! He listened to me. Explained everything he was doing. We even had some laughs to share. For what I needed done, I was very reasonably charged. I was back in my car, running fine, in just a few hours. He also called me a few days later for a follow up to make sure everything was running great! So grateful I found him. I will definitely be back to see him with any other issues I may have.Thank you Mr.Hill!!

Mr Hill and his team are great folks, they do a great job at a fair price. I had an AC compressor go bad and got a quote at another place for $1300 and the not sure when we can schedule this . I stopped by Hill Automotive and they got to work on it the same day and for HALF the price. My AC is working great and I will return to Hill for my automotive repairs.

Mr. Hill and his crew were honest, professional, and expedient when it came to doing work and repairs on my 2008 Ford F150 on two separate occasions. They were attentive when it came to discussing my truck's issues and symptoms. Furthermore, they were forthcoming with answers to any questions I had about the running of the truck and the repairs done to it.
