First time using Honea's Auto was for a tire repair and oil change. They gave me a time to drop off the car, and since I didn't have a ride, they expedited getting my car in the shop and done as quickly as possible. Not only did they save me time, but the price was very reasonable compared to other places I've gone.I plan to return for future auto needs and highly recommend Honea's.Services: Tires, Oil change

Great price and service. Needed front brakes replaced and Doug called me throughout the process to discuss the estimate. Took it in on Friday but couldn't pay until Monday but he got the work done so I could pick it up Monday morning. Would highly recommend to everyone. I can not give this place enough stars

Honea's has serviced my Lexus for years. They have done my oil changes, brake job, replacement of hood struts, etc. Whenever I bring the car in, they check the fluids and systems to help me avoid ugly surprises. They live up to their motto -- they do it right the first time, on time. I am grateful to have been able to call Doug Honea for guidance recently, when I was on a road trip and experienced a warning message in the middle of nowhere. Mr Honea gave me sound advice and saved me a lot of unnecessary hassle and worry. I highly recommend Honea's without any hesitation!

My car was giggling when I'm accelerating & needed to be looked at. I went to an auto repair shop nearby. That repair shop wanted to repair my transmission and gave a quote of $4,900. It floored me because I didn't realized my transmission was in such bad shape.This repair shop nearby did a "diagnostic" which cost me $300.I told them that I will bring my car back in the shop because of a previously committed engagement & it's obvious, my car was still drivable. A few days later, I called this repair shop near me to let them know that I'll be dropping my car off later in the week. I guess it was a slip of the tounge when they told me that, "no problem. Your car is in good shape. We really couldn't find anything wrong with your car"So, what was that $300 diagnostic, and the $4,900 quote was for?Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment with that repair shop near me.I went to Honea's Automotive after someone suggested to see Doug, the owner.Doug had a lot of cars in his lot. He was very busy, but pleasant when I approached the counter. I told him briefly what I was experiencing with my car and he said, "no problem, we'll take a look at it".A few hours later, Doug called to tell me that I need my transmission flushed and gave me the cost. Doug saved me about $4,480.A few weeks in and my car is running very well. Thank you Doug for being so honest and not trying to rip me off. I showed up on the wrong day for my scheduled oil change and Doug Honea fit me into his already busy schedule so I wouldn't have to make another trip. Doug Honea answered my phone call and was able to give me their towering company name and number. He was able to get my truck fixed in a couple of days. They charged me a very fair price for the work completed. If I need maintenance work for any of the vehicles in my house we will take them to Honea's Automotive.

Doug was a great help to this new widow. He didn't know this about me at first. He was so helpful and full of good advice. Very professional and friendly. Doug took time to look at my busted driver side mirror on my Honda HRV and found parts for it rather than paying for the entire assembly. Thank you, Doug, for your help and compassion in allowing me to cry, too. My husband always used to look at reviews. I heard his voice telling me to do the same. I'm so glad I listened! This shop is run by Doug a great guy.. Honest and good value. He did a complete check up on my wife's Honda CR-V. This included an oil change. I am sure his charges were less than one half the dealership's charges. We thought his check up was not complete but he used a computer that checks all the electronic and mechanical important parts. Great service.

Excellent shop, family-owned. Doug Honea is a great mechanic, you can't find a shop any more that will take the time to look around and see what else you need to do, or find ways to fix something while it's apart for something else--shops usually just double charge you for opening it twice. I had a lot of tune-up and general maintenance done on my Lexus because it never asks for anything but it was time. Also a fan motor replacement on the AC. I will use them exclusively in the future!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Being a first time customer, I was extremely satisfied with the service on my car. Dave is knowledgeable and clear in explaining the repairs required as well as the costs involved.This is a family business that brings a sense of competency, fairness and friendliness to the customer. My co-worker recommended Honea's automotive. I called them and spoke to Eddy and Doug and both were very helpful in answering my questions and getting me in fast. Next day I dropped my car off and they called me just a couple of hours later letting me know they had finished everything I needed. They were professional, helpful, and very kind. Definitely will be taking my car here in the future.

UPDATE (5/12/23): Well Doug and team knocked it out of the park for me again!!! I'm bad about "regular maintenance" on my car, and recently had the engine light come on for emmission control issues. Doug took the car in on Tuesday morning and had a whole list of problems found - most that could have been taken care of through routine maintenance over the years. And had me back on the road by Thursday afternoon!I drive a 12yo Santa Fe with nearly 260k miles, and the car is still purring right along, thanks to Doug!!If you need car service and are near Georgetown/Williamson County, look up Doug and team!UPDATE (11/20/21): Doug and team pulled out another win. The car just stopped moving in the middle of highway traffic. Doug and team investigated and found a dirty throttle body was the culprit. After cleaning and reprogramming, the car (w/230k miles) is back on the road after just a few hours in the shop. I probably could have cleaned the TB myself, but I wouldn't have had the equipment or knowledge to reprogram the system. Thanks again to Doug and team for another win on keeping our Hyundai on the road.(Previous review): I needed brakes for my car and the dealership told me it would be 4 weeks for an appointment.Doug and his team at Honea's Automotive got me in and out in one day.The service was friendly and the brakes work great.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto exhaust system replacement, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

It's always a pleasure doing business with Doug.It's not like I look forward to taking my cars to the shop, but when I have to, Honea's is always my first choice.Whether he's conducting a new car assessment or replacing an alternator, I can depend on Doug to get the job done correctly, quickly and at a reasonable price.

Doug and his team at Honea's are true professionals. I needed to replace the clutch and flywheel on my Subaru WRX and could not have picked a better mechanic to handle the job. Honest work, honest price and an incredible turn around time. Trust this team with your vehicle.

Doug is an amazing mechanic and the most honest and fair priced business owner in this area. My only negative is that it took us 10 years living here to discover this hidden gem.Today, he quoted a price on a repair and when we picked the car up it was 15% less than the quote because he said he miscalculated. His quote to begin with was 15% less than his competition on Williams Drive. That totaled to 30% less than the competition!If you are in Georgetown or close , go see him for any car mechanical issues!

Doug was amazing! I had my car mysteriously stalled and engine locked up. Doug not only got it running again, but found a recall related to my car to have replacement covered by the manufacturer. He went above and beyond for me, and I am so happy with his service...as always!!!!

Check engine light came on and I called Honeas. He gave me a quote and had it fixed less than 2 days. I paid a little less than what was quoted and my car has been riding really good!

Honea's Auto have cared for my cars for the past 20 years or more and I have never had a problem. Even a couple of times when I couldn't get the car to start they have sent a towing service to my house to take it to the shop. Got a brake job here about last year and I'm now doing it on my own today, found out they bent my metal brake line near the caliper. They could've atleast replaced it honestly what's 4-6 inches in metal tubing. I thought they were going to do an amazing job due to being rated highly but just ended up causing more headaches never going to a mechanic again!!

Had fronted alinement done on grandsons truck that we put lift kit on. It drives good down the road . was my first time to use them .Will use the again. You guys made so easy for me. Thank you

This place does honest work. I asked for a brake job, and when I picked up the car, they told me I didn't need a brake job... I just needed the brakes cleaned as they were very dirty.
