Good people, worked with me to get me truck working and back on the road. Rebuilt my transmission in less than a week and did not cost near as much as other auto places in waco. I would recommend them to anyone needing service or work done on thier transmissions.

Helped me out with a special project. Prices were fair. Work was fast. It may take some time for someone to answer the phone. Parking is limited so plan on parking on 19th street and walking half a block.

I've felt with Gossett transmission for years, I always used to take my manual transmissions to them when they still did them and their work always held up and was always at a great price. They still produce great work at a decent price and I would recommend them to anyone!

I had my transmission rebuilt here. These people normally have a great reputation. After the build I have leaks and some slippage. I called twice now and they asked me to drive it there. I told them there was no way it would make it. The response was not what I was waiting for after spending $1400 there. When they came and got it to fix they towed it. I expected the same but they expect me to drive it there and finish completely burning it up. I'm not a person to complain. I am really disappointed in the service after the sale. I am adding a quart every time I drive it. Maybe once or twice a month and leaving fluid everywhere I go. I would not recommend this place or ever take anything else there for service. I'm sure they are nice people but they dropped the ball with me.

Ray knows his stuff! Very professional with a detailed explanation of what needed to be done, why & how he was going to perform the work. Gossett Transmission Services was definitely out of the way as there are a few transmission shops between us however this company had superior customer service on the phone and this continued once onsite and throughout the entire process.

took my 97 K2500 in for a transmission and had 2 transfer seal install excellent work great price very honest, I would recommend unlike then local one in Temple Belton who jack up the price over $1400.00 for the same work and 1700 if it was a GM transmission so stay away from the rip off in Temple Belton Killeen Round rock Amoco trust me you will not be sorryService: Transmission

Pulled transmission & took it in for rebuild, was ready the next day & paid $900. Put it in vehicle & it did NOT work right! The transmission rebuild came with one year warranty, called to see when it could be looked at, & coveniently, after pocketing the $$$, he can't get to it any time soon, could get it supposedly done in a day, but can't even look at it now! It is a daily driver & desperately needed. This shop was recommended, but I would not recommend it to anyone! Very disappointed!!!! After you take someone's $, you should make them a priority, that's called good customer service.

Just finished rebuilding our second cars transmission. Lowest quote, and no problems. Second time in a row. I towed them both from Austin for the peace of mind and price, after the in-laws swore by them. Glad I did.

They have a limited range of what they can do specifically since they specialize in transmissions. But they can do quite a bit and even helped me who is replacing axles. They also have a towing service thatalthough busy all the time, will do their best to come out and help you.

I live in gatesville and will never deal with this place again.....ray rebuilt my transmission. It went out he would not stand behind warranty....he said he don't remember rebuilding it ...900 bucks for nothin...they sure will take your money..

If you have to take your truck to one place to get the transmission done, take it where the local guys take their truck to get worked on. Take it to Gossett Transmission Service repair. They are honest, up front and quick. Thank you guys for your help.David P. Thoresen

Extremely Busy at times My elderly parents and I 'paid' half / half for 'rebuilt' C-4 transmission for a 1982 Ford Granada. Only offered 1 year warranty back in 2010, I had to add 3 quarts of fluid today. Paper gasket from last comment... Hmmm.. I'll have to check on that. I do want to pay for extended warranty service of at 'least' 5 years. It was having trouble shifting and I realized, it was 3 quarts low, noticed a puddle under it. I'm quite concerned about extended warranty service, and what kind of parts put into it. Is it paper 'or' rubber gaskets?
