We had a wonderful stay at The Inn at Fulton Harbor. The employees were all nice and seemed happy with their work. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was wonderful for us for birding adventures and boot tour. Nice restaurants nearby. The only downside is the breakfasts are acceptable, but minimal. We would definitely recommend this motel and would stay again. Lastly, we accidently left some clothing behind. We were grateful that they contacted us and mailed us our items.

We loved it. Quiet, peaceful homey place. Had the pool and hot tub to ourself and enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and updated. Front desk staff very friendly. Got up and got our complimentary breakfast items. Walked to little coffee stand across the street, got some great Cuban and Vietnamese coffee and watched the fisherman and seagulls. Tiny, quiet town but several really good places to eat. Had some of best shrimp tacos with grilled asparagus I've had. Would def come back and stay here again!Rooms: Updated, clean and roomySafety: We felt safe here and not a noisy place which we appreciatedWalkability: Can walk to a coffee stand, gift store and several good eateries including seafood. Not a ton around which was part of the charm.Food & drinks: Only there one night so only got to try one place. Saw couple packed local bars and other places I would have tried if there longer

This place is a great place to stay at a great price and off the beaten path! If you are looking for a place with a water view or on the water-this is not it - the marina is across the street (the pics on google are deceiving). It is a no-frills "motel-like" establishment with great charm. The refrigerator is very cold and froze my produce but the beverages were nice and cold! The bed was extremely comfortable as were the chairs. The towels were functional but far from soft and luxurious- a bit on the stiff side. The only thing I found remotely wrong with the room was the powdered coffee creamer was crunchy and unusable. The AC unit in the room was exceptional and stayed at 65 the whole time we were there - very much a ++. Because this Inn has outside entry doors as opposed to carpeted hallways like you would find at a holiday Inn - I recommend you bring something that produces white noise to block out the sound of late night children (pool closes at 11:00) and inebriated adults that speak loudly - you can hear conversations through the connecting doors and up/down the causeway-we travel with a small hurricane fan that works like a champ. I would definitely recommend this sweet, sweet place!

What a great price for a sweet beach hotel with super nice staff! I'm pleased with the large room size and cleanliness, and the pool, kid pool, splash pad, and hot tub were very nice. The parking lot was plenty big and easy to park close to any room. They do have an elevator for second floor rooms. The rooms with kitchenette come with a professional hot plate and stainless pans. About the free breakfast, you get to choose what you want the day before and it's basically all cold stuff like boiled egg, yogurt, pastry, cereal, juice. The bag it and have it ready for pick up in the front. I'm ok with that because the adults indulged in a pastry before eating the hot breakfast we cooked. The full-size refrigerator made it very easy to stock up on what we needed. This place is great for anyone including families with children. I should mention 1 issue that was sometimes a headache: there is no safety lock on the room doors. There is only a lock by the door handle that unlocks when the handle is turned. Not good if you have a toddler. I hope the hotel will add locks toward the top of the doors that are not controlled by the door handle. Parents you can always do what we did and move the big chair in front of the door! We will definitely stay again. It was like a little kid paradise with the splash pad on site and the neat playground across the street! Good restaurants in walking distance as well.

We have been coming to this hotel for eight years, and unfortunately, our last visit was a bit disappointing.I checked in and noted that we received a room on a different side of the hotel than we normally stayed in. When we got to the room, it had 2 chairs and not a sofa bed, so we did not have anywhere for our kids to sleep. I went to the front desk and I was given a couple of different options as my room type was not available. I finally settled on a king bed with a sofa bed, but I could not get the kitchenette. I was disappointed because I brought popsicles and beverages to freeze. We had a small fridge in our room, but we could not get it to freeze at all during our stay. In fact, it barely kept anything froze. We were told our room wasn't ready and needed to be cleaned, so we had to go drive around for 40 minutes with two kids. When we got our room, we were on the second floor, which was fine, but the elevator was out of order. The stairs are very steep and it made me very nervous having to carry our heavy luggage up and down them. The parking lot on the side facing Fulton's was very dirty and full of trash and cigarette butts. The pool, which is normally sparkling, was also dirty and had several bandaids in it. There is one table for public use, but a family put their stuff on it the entire time we were there, and we could not use it to eat. We had to eat at the pool tables. Every one was covered cigarette butts. I had to go get paper towels to remove them so we could sit down. Normally, this hotel is very clean, but this time we considered it to be very dirty. Our first night, we were short one pillow, probably because the room was not originally ready. I called down to the front desk to ask for one pillow. The lady was not rude, but seemed very put out, and told me twice that she would have to lock up everything in order to get my pillow. We always opt to not have cleaning services and I just tidy our room and take out the trash on my own. I asked the cleaning lady in the hall for 4 clean towels. She said that she only had 2 and there were not any additional clean towels available, so I needed to call down to the front desk later to get some. I did not want to inconvenience the front desk lady again, so we just shared the towels. Later that night, there was a large family party going on at midnight (pool closes at 10), but again, didn't want to call down to the front desk. The next day, we took the girls down to swim at 9:15 a.m. The pool opens at 9 a.m. The cleaning guy said he wasn't finished and it would be about another 20 minutes. I asked if we could get in the hot tub while we waited, but he said no because it was broken. It was working at midnight the night before when the family was having a party. I normally wouldn't mind, but we had to leave by 11 a.m. We waited and he finished around 9:30 a.m. We got in a quick swim and headed on our way.It was not a terrible visit, but it had so many small problems. I met a gentleman at the pool and he said that he had just had a heart attack and knee surgery and was struggling with the elevator being out of order. He also commented how it was not as clean as it had been in past trips.

Overall amazing experience. Have stayed here every time we go to the coast. As a family, and as a couple. Restaurants and paid beach are super conveniently close. Best motel I've ever stayed.Nearby activities: Two restaurants across the street, one a couple blocks down. A fantastic little bar a block away. A beautiful and clean pay for the day beach is a five min drive. Two museums close by, amazing fishing pier across the street also. Best little coffee shop directly across the street.Safety: Probably the safest area to stay. No crime, good residents and other visitors, beach patrol will enforce the fishing laws, but so long as rules are obeyed.Walkability: Everything is within walking distance. There are golf carts available to rent at the coffee shop, there more just for easy transport and fun.Food & drinks: Irish pub is my personal favorite. Charlotte Plummer had good food, but they are unprofessional when it comes to race. Beachwarmers is always busy, but I did not have a good food experience.Noteworthy details: The best part of this Inn, is the pool, it's perfect for families with babies and toddlers. Very very kid friendly pool with still being useful and attractive to adults. New splash pad and fantastic hot tub.The other best part is simply the staff, every department. 2nd floor housekeeper is one of the most amazing people who could clean your room. Office staff is always amazing and friendly and accommodating.

I spent a few days here in November 2021 for a "girls" getaway. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the property was too. Location was perfect for what we did; whooping crane bird tour and eating the freshest seafood at local spots. The pool and hot tub were lovely. Other guests were kind and respectful. I really wish every hotel stay was this simple and layed back. This is a gem within a gem of a town.

We've stayed several times and have always enjoyed our visits. It feels very homey & family oriented. We Love it here and will continue to stay on our long weekend getaways.Rooms: The rooms are very neat & clean. I feel very safe seeing the placement of all the security cameras. The location is great and within walking distance of the public fishing pier, Charlotte Plumbers, The Sugar Shack and Moondogs.

If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a comfortable bed, space to spread out, a shower with good water pressure, an amazing outdoor swimming pool, and an affordable rate... you are at the right place. The room is spacious and clean. The linens are nice and the bathroom towels are of high quality. So why not five stars? As others have noted, the sound insulation between upstairs and downstairs is not good. You will hear noises from upstairs that seem like they are in your room. Another negative thing was that our beds were placed on a metal platform and squeaked rather loudly when we got on/off them or moved around. Once we settled in place, it was much less of an issue. There is a refrigerator with a tiny freezer, a microwave, a coffeepot and a small sink in the kitchenette. Bring your own supplies. Other than coffee, none are provided in that area. Also, the Covid bagged breakfast is far less appealing than the warm breakfast usually offered at hotels similar to this one.All that said, would I stay here again? Definitely. The room is large, clean, and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are resort quality, much nicer than any other in the area. I slept very well (once the squeaky frame became less noticeable). The staff was very nice and did a great job keeping the property clean and inviting. The daily rate was one of the most affordable in the area. Those positives far outweighed the negatives which is why I gave it four stars despite the drawbacks.

This is our favorite place to stay in Rockport! We love it! The pool is excellent, close to town, good restaurants walking distance. We enjoy bay fishing and also fishing across the street from the hotel. It is affordable and they are accommodating. I like that there s a kitchenette so I can bring food and there s even a little coffee shop across the street!

Had a really relaxing and comfortable stay. The bed is super comfy and soft. Decor was super cute and beach modern.Bathroom not as clean and very skimpy on the soaps and shampoo, but the towels were a good size and thick. The kitchen was equipped with pot and pans for cooking but there was no stove or oven to cook on. Only a microwave some utensils and plates and cups were available. The pool was awesome, big enough for several families to enjoy and it has a an irregular shape where you could hang out in the different nooks. The hot tub worked and was hot and clean. Not too much chlorine where it was overpowering but definitely clean. The continental breakfast was a little disappointing, only consisted of cold items such as cereal, danishes, juice milk, coffee, bagels and sliced bread.Overall a good experience.

A seaside gem! Stayed with my wife and daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed the property. The room was very clean and welcoming, the pool was pristine and the view of the harbor was beautiful (despite the power lines ) and the grounds are well maintained with lush landscaping. The only thing I could say for an even better stay, would be offering a full breakfast rather than just continental.
