I was really excited to try this place out because I had heard great things. I got the $25 package which includes wheels and tires, a wipe down and vacuum on the inside.. these aren t even all of the photos of how dirty it still was right after. :/ worst part is that it took 10 minutes so they just didn t even try to do a good job :/

It truly pains me to leave a bad review. I ve been going to university Car Wash for several years. I noticed that the quality had diminished in the past year, but I understand that no one can be perfect 100% of the time. I brought my car in today to get the oil changed. I even talked my husband out of taking it to Valvoline and insisted I bring it to University. When I pulled up two employees very obviously rolled their eyes at me. My exchange with the employees was incredibly rude despite my best efforts to be kind and respectful. They seemed very annoyed by me getting my three year old and four month old out of the car. When I was told my car was ready I asked if it had been washed too. The cashier very rudely told me that they hadn t offered that in two years. I really feel like this isn t the case, but I could totally be wrong. The point is that she was so rude and the manager was right there. I paid over $110 for an oil change and absolutely no extras AND was treated poorly in the process. I know costs have gone up for everything, but that s the case for everyone and a little kindness goes a long way.

The sign says wash, vacuum, clean dash and interior for $18. I even asked for verification so I could get all this done.My car was washed well. But - the interior still had clumps of dirt and leaves throughout the back and sides. The dash was not dusted the inside windows were not clean and my norwax clothes that I usually clean with were missing out of my glove box. I was very disappointed. I tried to email to see if they would respond with some type of compensation, but email is invalid on website. Again disappointed. I even tipped them. I suppose you have to spend $75 to get a good car wash, but if they can t do basics and they steal from the car then not worth my time or money to go to this place for a car wash.Services: Full body wash, Auto detailing, Auto interior vacuuming

Manager is argumentative and condescending, told me they vacuum for 5 mins for deluxe full service. That s fine but when your guys only vacuum for 1 min thats frustrating and you re cheating your customers. My truck is still filthy, what a waste of money. Will be taking my business elsewhere and for the next person reading this you should to. Stay away!

They always do a fantastic job of cleaning your vehicle. It s generally pretty quick and the service they do is beyond pretty much any other car wash in the area. For $35 it s a little pricey, but they also clean the inside of your car and your tires where a lot of other places don t do that. 5/5 would recommend.

Took my Volvo in for a wash, on a Thursday morning around 11am, so it wasn't crowded at all. Pay close attention to that, as this pIace can be a Zoo during peak times. I purchased the $25.00 deluxe wash, and it took all of only 20 mins. I could barely finish my FREE tasty espresso before they were calling out my Vehicle name for pickup! It's a decent place inside, clean restrooms, nice place to chill and sip that FREE espresso or water as you wait. Or, step outside for more benches to wait on. They did a nice job, no issue with the interior, everything looked great. Oh, they always tape your rear windshield wiper down! I like that. One thing that's always kinda frustrating though is... "Can ya just place the driver's seat back in it's original spot please?! You drove my car 20 feet for crying out loud" all in all... I keep coming back here. Plus, Suzie's Cakes is right across the street

I get my truck detailed here & can I just say, "This is how it should be done"!This is the most satisfied I've been with an interior detail in quite some time & priced just right to tip and feel as though you got your monies worth!!!

This used to be my place I d bring all my cars. Wow place has gone up in price and quality isn t there anymore. Won t be using them again .basic car wash run through where you sit in your own car is $11, was $6. Barely sprayed my car before it went into tunnel which causes major scratching of the paint if not careful. Can do a better job myself at a hand held wash. No wonder full service car washing is becoming a thing of the past. You no longer get full service service Service: Full body wash

Came here to get a car wash for the first time since purchasing my new car. The outside of the car looked great, until I noticed the back seats were wet from the workers sitting on the seat with the spray bottle in their back pocket leaking. Now I m left with stains all over and have to go elsewhere to have my car detailed. Overall extremely disappointed because I just purchased this car and took it home with stains everywhere after leaving this car wash.

I've been coming here for years now because I loved that they would do an oil change, car wash and vacuum all at once.In the last year the oil change went from about $75 to almost $100 for the synthetic and then on top of that, took away the complimentary wash with it. So, now I go somewhere else for an oil change but continued to use them for the car wash and vacuuming. Ive always gotten the basic full serve because I never needed much done. The price of that went up as well, but that's to be expected at some point.The last several times, I've noticed a significant decline in the job. Before, they would throw away obvious trash that I missed and always left my seats and carpet nice and clean. The last couple of times I've gone, I had to ask them to go back and clean the back seats better because there was still pet hair and dirt everywhere and I even use a seat liner for them.Today, hair everywhere, looked like they barely vacuumed, dirt crumbs still in the driver side. I asked them to go back and finish, again, and the guy came over and said I had "to pay extra for that." I said in all the years I've been coming here I've never had to pay more for the vacuuming. Again, not a deep clean or shampoo or anything, but just vacuuming up the obvious dirt and hair.He said no, they don't do that. So I asked him what I even paid for, just an $18 car wash? And he said "well, yeah."Cool. Thanks for letting me know I'm getting ripped off. Even though their website says for full basic serve: wash, vacuum, windows, and wipe dash and console...which is also still dirty. If you're not going to actually vacuum and clean like the website says, then don't say it's included.But thanks for nothing. Next time I'll go to Fuel City, pay for just the wash and vacuum my car myself and do a better job of it than any worker here at University. I've given this place multiple chances to do better, yet each time its a worse job than the time before. I'm done.Services: Full body wash, Auto interior vacuuming, Oil change

This was my first time trying this place and I was pretty excited to try it but I paid extra for my car to be vacuum because of the dog hair and they did not do a good job. They did not remove the mats and vacuum. When I received my car it was still dog on the floor and under the mats.

Had a great experience at the car wash. The service was excellent, the wash was thorough, and my car came out looking great. I would definitely recommend university car wash to anyone looking for a quick and convenient car wash.

(8/19/2022): I can't recommend the $18 basic full service. You are better off getting the $9 express exterior wash (automatic car wash) and doing the console wipe, windows and vacuuming yourself. Half of the driver side got vacuumed, the other half was missed. Half of the back seat got wiped. The drivers side window and mirror got missed when drying. The wait wasn't too bad (less that 30 minutes), however for the job done and price, I can't recommend the $18 one.Services: Full body wash, Vacuuming

Absolutely do not recommend. Paid 150 dollars for carpet shampooing and complete detail inside and out. I got my car back and the seats weren t wiped down, the windows weren t cleaned, and all my change is gone (which is besides the point). When I asked about it they tried to tell me they did it all, and when I did it myself with their spray and towel, the little marks came off. They definitely tried to trick me. Too many other great places to ever come back here again.

Nice place! If they served real drinks I'm pretty sure I would not leave here. LOL love the little wooden table & chairs inside, the very comfortable seating outside, the fast and courteous staff and the attention to detail they give your car. Coffee smells great by the way.

The location is convenient to downtown and the reception is expedient but it's a bit pricey for just an ok car wash... I got the $25 service expecting my car to look pretty excellent considering that's the most I've ever paid for a car wash. It was just ok. I still have water streaks all along my door panel and it didn't even get all the bird droppings off my hood. After taking closer looks it also left my hood with swirl marks and micro scratches which I know came from here bc the car is barely 2 months old and weren't there before. I would say to save your money and go to a $5 Exxon car wash because it looks almost the same, and just wipe your own dash down with a cloth. If I come back it will be just for the $6 wash.

I arrived at University Car Wash just after 4:00. They were supposed to be open until 6:00 that day. We had just returned from a road trip so I needed an oil change and full service car wash. I was told I was too late for a full detail, so I opted for the deluxe wash. I was disappointed to find out they no longer offered a free basic wash with oil change. I went inside to wait and was called to check out soon after. I was told that they were closing early (it was not raining; it was because they were not busy) and were giving me a raincheck for a basic car wash. I explained that I had asked for the deluxe and she said they had already done the interior and all that was left was the wash. When I went to my car it was obvious they had not touched my interior. I went back a week later to get my wash and to try to explain that I needed the full deluxe wash I paid for. They said I was passed the three day window for the wash. When I pressed they got someone else. This woman said she remembered me, and that she had not charged me for my car wash when I checked out because she knew I was frustrated. I m sure this is correct- I don t have my credit card receipt (just raincheck and oil change print out). To top it off, my oil change receipt says my tire pressure was 35 psi in all 4 tires, but one hour later my tire light came on to warn me my back tires were at 28psi. Had to stop for air. I m sure I caught them on a bad day- everyone just wanted to go home- but I feel I wasted $150 and a lot of time. I ve been going here for years because of its convenience (and honestly the free wash with oil change) but I think next time I ll try someplace else.Services: Full body wash, Auto detailing, Vacuuming, Auto interior vacuuming, Oil change

Not sure why all the negative reviews. I don't know what people are expecting more of. I was skeptical of going here because of them, but I enjoyed the service here so here I am trying to balance it out.I told the girl at the front what all I wanted done in my car, and she told me it was $103 total for a car wash with vacuuming($18), shampooing of my fabric seats($75), and cleaning of my muddy rubber mats($10), which is what I wanted, and what I got.Obviously there are a few places they missed, but you have to recognize they are trying to make it a fast service so people don't have to wait long. For 45 minutes, I don't think they could have done more. I was able to wait inside comfortably with air conditioning, coffee, snacks, wifi while watching them work on my car the entire time. This is the cheapest you'll get for all of these services, and I think they were worth the money plus tip.I highly recommend this place!

Left oil all over my engine bay and on my hood/grill/lights. Literally dripped on my intake, fan shroud and motor cover which wasn't even wiped off. My entire trucks drip pan and skid plate were pooled with used oil (see image) and dripping all over my driveway. Took me 30 minutes just to clean/soak up all the oil sitting so it would stop flying all over my trucks undercarriage as I drove. The truck is a few months old and this was its second oil change. The first image is from wiping the oil off the bottom of my gas tank at the back of my truck from it flying everywhere. U use to come here often since it was a nice location and I could run through the car wash however this is just carelessness, laziness, and a waste of time and money for this service level. You almost have to go out of your way to make this big of a mess doing such a simple job.Service: Oil change

I had my safety inspection done here. They were quick and did a great job. Honest and friendly. I give them 5 stars for this service.I like University Car Wash as the people used to be friendly and, for those who drink it, they offer a free coffee from an amazing machine. It does seem that the quality of the car wash has gone down, hence my 2 stars. The people at the start of the line are not very friendly and don't do what is asked. I asked for them to vacuum my trunk and she answered like, "of course we will." The entire car wash took nearly an hour, which is way longer than any car wash should take. There weren't even that many cars in line. We finally were called and I got my grandson into his car seat and left, being rushed out so they could get to the next car. When we got home, I decided to pop the trunk and was very disappointed to see it had not been vacuumed out.I believe they need to provide better training to improve customer service. The person yelling out the completed cars was extremely difficult to understand. When a young man's Audi was done, he couldn't even understand the person saying White Audi. No one could. And look for ways to improve throughput. It looks like you have only one person per car, and when people are finished with the car they are working on, they mill around instead of helping others get more cars completed. Again, this is a training and leadership issue. I hope this gets addressed soon.Services: Full body wash, Vacuuming

Good if you want your car mostly clean, quickly, and at a decent price. If you want your care totally clean, go elsewhere.$6 wash is an awesome deal and you get a lot for it. Sometimes I get that package and go home and detail it myself, but you almost can t do as good a job as quickly as them at home for 6 bucks.Even with the $25 or $55 dollar package, there is still a lot of touching up to do if you really want it done right. It s a good start though.Disclaimer: I have high standards.

It's okay, there's free water in the small waiting area which is nice and the waiting area is climate controlled and clean, but I paid $9 more($18 total) to upgrade and get the floors vacuumed, and the console/shifter/dash/windshield wiped down.They work hard, and it's hot, so they did okay, while the front passenger (pictured) floor still had some grass, it was okay, I had to have them revacuum the front driver side since there was still a lot of grass under the pedals.They were very polite and I appreciated them offering to do it again for me, but I won't be coming back. (No, I didn't throw a fit, I was just disappointed and going to drive off but they offered so I accepted)It wasn't worth $18, and it seems like if you don't get the premium ($45), then they don't really care as much. I would rather have a car wash where I vacuumed after, but there aren't a lot of those close to home.

I rarely leave reviews but I bought the second tier package and it wasn t worth the money.They took nearly an hr, yet the interior still had crumbs, dust, fingerprints. They didn t let me know my car was ready and I had to flag them down and ask. Found out that had just parked my car to the side like an afterthought.Services: Full body wash, Polishing, Vacuuming, Auto interior vacuuming

$25 for a car wash and outside was still dirty where the drive through did not clean. Inside was half wiped out. Wheels half wiped. Not worth it.Update- they saw this review and reversed the charge. Increasing star review for customer service. Thank you.

Adequate at best. Second time in a row. The kids worked hard in the blistering heat and the car was adequately cleaned purchasing the highest tier auto wash. It s clean but some surfaces are not, the attention to detail is lacking and some spots get missed. Language barrier is tough for corrections and it tools a long time because of the lines not the quality of service. With so much variety in town why come back.

5 star experience at University Car Wash! I was in last week to get my car detailed and I am very pleased with the experience. They were fairly busy for the middle of the day during the work week and I can understand why. I was promptly greeted when I pulled up and quoted a time of 45 min to 1 hour for a full detail ($75). Shortly after exiting my vehicle and making my way inside, I paid my tab and made myself comfortable at a table. I expected this to take some time so I brought my iPad and found the high tops easy to settle into. There is a little shop with snacks, fun cards, and other novelties to look at while you wait as well as a restroom and direct view of the cars going through the cleaning tunnel. I had been there maybe 15 minutes when a nice young lady informed me the cleaning tunnel was out of service and they weren t sure when it would be running again. She offered to refund my service or complete the outside wash by hand and I told her I was most interested in the cleanliness of the inside so I was happy to wait. I appreciated the options and communication when the unexpected happened! A little over an hour later the tunnel was up and running and I still hadn t been called. I checked with the employee back at the register and he went outside to discover that I was almost on my way and quoted me 10 more minutes as they had reversed their usual procedures due to the equipment mishap. He was polite and seemed to be happy to be there. They were serving up nachos and cake for an employee and another customer remarked that it looked like they were celebrating a birthday which as nice. I did see my car go through the tunnel shortly after this and it was towel dried quickly. I was on my way with an exceptionally clean vehicle and days later, I am still impressed with the quality of the service. I will definitely be back. Thank you!!Service: Auto detailing
