Short story is 1st trans lasted 15k and grenaded ,the replacement took 6 weeks to get and was bad right out of the box ,denied my claim saying it was installer error ,I e I've done this 25 years lol ...the second one was bad right out of the crate once it arrived ,I got a refund from my supplier upon returning the unit ,I bought a unit from spartan and it fixed the van and has since been 5k miles problem free ,the customer service from this company is a joke ,calling 4 numbers to get answers and being placed on hold 30-50 mins each time ,like that should tell you something , waiting almost an hour to speak with a warranty rep ??? Must have an extremely high volume of warranty issues for a wait time like that ,and also having to call various different people to get bits and pieces ,then another number all together to be told the claim for labor and replacement costs were denied for reasons unrelated to the matter ,like they can't even come up with a good honest explanation Instead of just owning up to putting out absolutely trash products ,bit that's how they get that money !! You pay but get nothing for your money but upset ,mad ,and a vehicle you can't use and a service dept rivaled only by the DMV and the Joe Biden administration ! If it's possible to get any worse than they are ,I would definitely not recommend this unprofessional ,junk sales of a company at all cost avoid this company !!!!!!!!

Junk with 3rd party warranty . Bought a 4l60 through monster that went out in a month took 7 months to warranty and only paid 350 to replace . Robert @ precision ext 1011 said I need to deal with monster and monster said deal with precision.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

This post in reference to Claim #408013, the third transmission for the for the same vehicle from a Company that I have waited now for almost a month to have delivered to the service provider, Cottman Transmission of Independence, MO. There is no website or email address that I can reach to communicate to the leadership in the company other that a phone number and ext.# 1002 at the parent company which won't event go to voicemail. When I spent over $4,000 for the first transmission replacement on my 2003 Ford Explorer I would have never thought that it would fail in a matter of months (through no fault of my own). The replacement they sent for that transmission also failed in a matter of months. Here I am now two transmissions later, still waiting for the third transmission and running out of options. Collectively, I have been without my business vehicle for over two months with no compensation being provided. Doug, at Cottman Transmission, Independence, MO, has been accessible, engaged, and professional. Hopefully this third transmission, when it arrives, will outlast the previous two and the warranty that will come with it. I can't speak for other's whose rebuilt transmissions were sourced from this company, but I can state factually, the the quality and service I have received from Precision Transmissions Group, to date, have been more than disappointing, but has also impacted my business. (This is review is after taking into consideration the week delay they suffered as a result of the flooding that affected that area.)Service: Transmission

Worked on my 5.9 cummins nv4500 have had no issues since, took my allison 1000 rebuilt it have had no issues with it since highly recommend

I am a shop owner and a customer of ours purchased a transmission from this company. They've had an issue with oil leaks and now the torque converter clutch does not release as it should. The vehicle owner is getting agitated as am I because we want these issues resolved as soon as possible. This has been dragging on since the end of December. If the warranty hotline is that busy it doesn't indicate to me that these transmissions are very reliable. They seem to come up with every excuse in the book not too warranty anything. They probably wouldn't warranty the transmission if it got sneezed on because the boogers might affect oil pressure or something dumb.

Horrible experience. Bought a transmission with a warranty. This business did everything to make sure the transmission was not covered and after less than 500 miles. Transmission was voided. Inspector that came out to inspect the truck wouldn t even take pictures of the transmission because he didn t want to get dirty. My son didn t have a truck for months. Still doesn t and he goes to college on a rodeo scholarship. Totally ridiculous and shameful. Management was rude and disrespectful. This group has numerous complaints for the same reasons. I did retain a lawyer, filed with the AG and BBB. BEWARE!!!!

Is any one else having a hard time getting these guys to honor their warranty? I got a supposedly "Re-man Transmission" in April. it came complete with a nice paint job on it and a hard shudder in between 50mph and 53mph and several slip codes. I am pretty sure they painted a core deposit and sent it to me. I notified them of the issue and they threw a few parts at it that didn't help and eventually sent a new "Re-man Transmission". I had a hard time getting them to pay the labor on the parts they told my shop to put on but after several phone calls back and forth they eventuality honored their labor warranty on that one. The 2nd transmission was installed and it lasted less than 4 hrs,. Evidence found that the transmission overheated due to internal failure in the transmission . They at that point sent another transmission making 3 transmissions in all ( I hope this one is a good one ) and now that its time to pay the labor on the 3rd transmission and they are now tapping out. They refuse to honor the labor part of the warranty and pay what they owe of the labor warranty after sending all the appropriate receipts. I asked to talk to who was in charge there and everyone keeps telling me he is on the other line or not here . One time one person told me he was on the other line and the very next minute I was told he wasn't there. When I asked witch was it (not there or on the other line ???) they said it dost matter that it wouldn't matter even if they allowed me to talk with him It wouldn't change a thing. I have called several times to see but he wont take my calls or return my calls . I have sent E-mails and he wont respond . The guy that is running this scam apparently cant do his dirty work him self and hides from conflict. Its okay Rob. Its normal to be scared to talk when you knowingly are not doing the right thing. Stay behind your desk and count your money buddy . Beware guys this is a new company that isn't practicing good habits and is not going to do whats right. look at other reviews from other websites about these crooks . I wish i did.

Stay away. We just had our third transmission installed in less than a year. We trusted that these guys would provide a quality product for the amount of money we shelled out.

ABSOLUTE JUNK.... DO NOT BUY, I bought 68rfe, installed it and reverse and forth are the only working gears. Jess told me, take it to a shop so I did, mechanic said solenoid shift pack bad.Precision sent an inspector that confirmed the problem. They denied my claim because my trk has egr delete, the truck HASNT been driven since trans was installed, the fact it s egr is deleted has nothing to do with defective junk they sale.... BUYER BEWARE. JUNK
