This location nearly ruined my vehicle. On January 6th I took my vehicle to this location due to it not starting. I was told at the time there was a loose bolt on my starter that needed to be tightened. I was charged for a no start diagnostic test. Tom and JT stated the test was good but there was a loose bolt that was tightened. This cost me $255 since I had an oil change as well. A week later my car did the same thing. Once again I had my car towed to this location in which they said the car started for them just fine but it appeared the bolt fell off. The manager, Tom, stated he thought it was best for him to go with the cheaper option and rather than replacing or repairing anything. Despite me never asked for a cheaper option that s what they decided was best. I needed my car fixed. I requested the starter be changed in the event the starter was going bad and just did not register considering it was the original one since I bought the car in 2019. They changed it and I was charge $697 for the replacement and labor. Here we are a month later; same issue. Had my car towed and once again I was told my car was fine. They could not find anything wrong since it started for them over 10 times with no issues. Following this visit I was stranded for a second time. Rather than taking my vehicle back to Firestone, the following day I took my vehicle to Kia. They discovered that a starter cable connector had been broken and glued with silicon rather than replaced. I returned to this location after Kia fixed my car. I spoke with Tom providing him with the findings. He again went on to say that he believed that what he did or authorized was the cheaper option. Mind you in a much milder tone because before he was so sure of himself I had to asked him to not yell at me. I reminded him that I never once asked for a discount. Never said I did not have money to cover the repairs needed for my car. In January was overly patient with them. To the point back in January I got a rental car to allow them to truly work on my car also allowing me to be able to work and go to school. There was never any pressure other than to get my car running right. But due to Tom s thought of the cheaper option it has cost me a great amount of time and money. I missed in total 4 days of school. I missed 2 days of work. Used my AAA one too many times. Paid an additional $255 in tows since I didn t want to use up all of my AAA allowance. About $50 in Lyfts. Not to mention the $185 I had to pay for Kia to correct the issue Firestone caused. Tom nor JT apologized for this incident. Initially, Tom only wanted refund me $400 but I advised him that was not satisfactory to me since this was something done during my first visit. In the end I was refunded $700. And even still I don t believe that was enough. Due to these incidents I will have Kia do a deeper inspection on my vehicle to verify that the starter is new. Please be cautious when visiting this location. I will never go for the neighborhood auto shop again. Their need to think for someone could have possibly ruined my vehicle or caused a major accident had my car lost all power.

I made an online appointment for 3pm, they had openings until 5pm, I get a call back immediately saying that I need to bring my car in at 1pm bc the guy leaves at 4pm.... First, why have an open schedule if you dont have anyone there to help, and second, if he leaves at 4pm why do I need to bring my car in 3 hours early when all I asked was to check my freon and fuse?!?!?! I clarified with the women on the phone that it would take more than an hour to check freon and a fuse?!?!?! She sat there silent, I also asked why there are appointments if no one is available to work and she blamed corporate, so corporate, can you look into that? This is not a customer service place, she sat in silence as I asked questions to clarify with no actual help other than, you can come early or another day, and as I stated to her I wanted to take my car that I knew I wouldn't get screwed but instead, they just dont care. I will tell everyone I know never to use this place!! PISS POOR PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dont really care if they help you or not! Freon is too much of a problem to check in an hour!! hahahahaha thats sad!!

Hello,I highly suggest that your store list on its Google/Yelp and phone message that you open up at 8a and not 7a. I got there at 7a and tried to call the store number and other Firestones to see what time the location opens. I went up to the door and there was a sign that stated the COVID hours changed to an 8a Saturday opening and not 7a.When 8a rolled around, people who were waiting around and the few who just got there flooded the entrance and the receiving desk crew just took people as they came in and did not discern who was waiting. That was disappointing because that cost me another hour in the alignment service of my car. Not cool but I will roll with punches. I got the lifetime alignment for my vehicle but the way that this was handled by reception and the lack of digital communication, I do not plan oncoming back to this Firestone location.I have put in a request with Google to have the opening times change so that other customers do not experience the same occurrence like the handful of customers did this early Saturday morning.

I dropped my car off at 8am.. its now 3:45 and they are just starting on my vehicle. Nobody tried contacting me. I spoke to the "receptionist " and she made it like it was out of her control because I booked through CarAdvise. I got the issue handled in under 10 minutes. Poor communication. Its "out of their control" but I left you with my keys and they have my contact information on file. Lazy work, won't be returning.

Let me start by saying if this location was not close by I would never go there. This location doesn't offer any of the traditional Firestone amenities (wifi, free coffee, water, and magazines) it's extremely disheartening to pay the same prices as other locations and not have access to the same experience. I am very dissatisfied and I would hate to think that because the majority of the population is under-resourced that it is overlooked by corporate.A Very disappointed card holder.

I had an appointment for 12pm for an oil change, I got there at 11: 45 to check in and hand them my keys and they said they'd start on my car as soon as they could. Not only was everyone very freindly but they had my oil changed within 30 minutes! I'll come back for my next oil change for sure.

Just booked my truck in for the 3rd break change in less than two years. Told lady on phone something needs to be done, and that this was ridiculous, my original breaks did not wear out for about 3 years and now getting #3 in less than 2. I don t think I should pay for this, most of my driving is highway driving not a lot of stop start heavy breaking. I believe it started to grind way before now but just kept telling my self it can t be what I m hearing. The last break change was mostly warranty too. Something is up either with brake manufacturer or the installations. But they need to figure it out fast.

I have been going to the Firestone located at 1001 Bridgewood Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76112. I have the lifetime alignment program with them and I have been complaining that their alignment program is not working. In the fall of 2018 I got 4 new tires from them as well as an alignment multiple times. I was heading to Houston this past weekend and once I arrived I had a slow leak in my RR tire. I took it to Discount Tire and that is when I saw the worst looking tires I have ever seen. The back right tire had NO tread in the middle of the tire. The two front tires wore down to the metal on the insides, etc. All 4 tires had to be replaced. The brand of tire that was used by Firestone had never been heard of by Discount Tire. The quality if this tire was rated for 50K miles and they did not even last 8-9 months. I am not sure if your alignment machines are not calibrated correctly, or you sold me junk tires, but either way, I had to spend $540.00 to get 4 new tires and I want a refund for my tires I purchased from you. I also want someone from corporate to see if the alignment machine is calibrated or not at your location. At this point, I believe this location is run by either crooked or incompetent people, I am not sure which. I have pictures of each tire, the tread wear and the date on these tires. Ask yourself if tires should look like this after 8 months if you get proper alignments and quality tires from Firestone.

WASTE OF MONEY, POOR WORK QUALITY, this store replaced my fuel pump and in the process damage the new fuel pump, broke components on my vehicle, fail to position fuel line back into holder and cost me hours of time, gas from driving to Firestone to rectify the service and the indirect cost of very poor fuel economy and several days without a vehicle due to improper installation of my fuel pump. Also the bad customer service and the people at the store lying to me.In 2016 I got my fuel pump replaced at this location due to leaking gas on a recall from GM that didn't cover my vin. Firestone installed the new pump but smash the fuel line attached to the pump, by not placing it into the groves on the tank for the lines. Instead the left it out and it got crush between the tank and car letting maybe 20% fuel to the engine. Of course the computer adjusted this lack of pressure by increasing fuel to meet the engine demands, this in turn cause premature fuel pump failure and the symptoms got worst, the first 15 months or so you didn't really notice it unless you would accelerate hard , the engine would stall to the point of almost turning off, sputter and get very bad gas mileage. It wasn't until this year that the problem was noticeable on normal driving, then around March of this year I finally got a code set P0171, it took this whole time from taking it to various places to get the lean condition checked out with no luck. I didn't suspect it was my fuel pump as it was the newest component on my car until last month because I knew it was a firestone aftermarket, I didn't hear the spray sound when my car was on from the pump, and it would perform better with a full tank of gas. After testing the pump I found it was bad on 24psi.When i got ready to install the new pump, as soon as I look under the car I seen a broke emissions line, and broken wire harness holder and my fuel line not put back in place. After dropping the tank I found the root cause, the line was smashed and also when I replace the pump Firestone cut my fuel pump cable with an aftermarket wire harness so I couldn't even use the new OEM pump, also couldn't reconnect it as the emission line connector was also damaged. My car was down for several days because of this now i'm waiting on a new cable. Firestone took no responsibility for the the bad work and wants to rig my car up with quick fix solutions like tape and zip ties, i want it the way it was before they broke it.

Went to this location since I was in fort worth. I needed my headlight replaced. This typically cost $5-$10 for me at other places. The girl at the counter quoted me $300!!!! I kept asking was she sure, and she said yes because of labor. It takes maybe 3min to replace, what labor? THATS HIGHWAY ROBBERY! and I told her that. I'm am currently at Walmart getting my light replaces for $10. That's just crazy!

I went here for an LOF today on my 4X4 Toyota Tacoma. LOF means Lube, Oil, Filter. The Tech couldn't drive a standard so I had to pull my truck in the bay for her. I get it, no big deal. Then she doesn't know how to set the rack to safely lift my truck. Okay, well let me show you. It was at this point I told her the reason I came here instead of going next door to Valvoline was because I needed all grease points lubed which requires the wheels to be off the ground. Valvoline gets most but not all grease fittings. Had I been told then that she had no intention of greasing anything I could have left. She drain the oil out first then said she wasn't qualified and would not grease my truck. Then I'll grease it. "NO SIR, that's against store policy."So I can pull it in, teach you how to safely raise a Pickup, but you will get in trouble if I grease it? So it cost me $80.00 to do what I could have done at home for $30.00, or next door at Valvoline for $70.00 that would have included a partial lube, all my fluids checked, and a sticker when my next service is due.Oh, and Mister Manager. That sign in the shop written in big red letters stating every battery gets tested on every vehicle. Yeah, didn't do that either. See, I'm not lying. I was in your service area.I just noticed on my final invoice that service advisor #4 Victoria entered on the lower left cornerDECLINED WORK: LUBRICATION. I Begged her to grease my truck. Said I would pay extra. Just please lube my truck. No, the tech is qualified to change oil and filter, which could cost a customer $15,000.00 or more in engine damage, (Don't worry, I lifted the hood, started it up, checked for leaks, and made sure it was full before I pulled it out.) or get her killed if a car falls on her, but not qualified to pull the trigger on a grease gun. I would have been glad to teach you how to identify all the possible lube points on any vehicle made, (4X4's have more than any other vehicle) and you would have learned something without either of you getting into any trouble.Well, at least you still learned something.Sincerely,A 25 year ASE Triple Master Certified Auto, Heavy Truck, and Collision Repair Technician.

Today I had an awful experience with TOM MCNICHOLS the store manager. I had a blowout on bridge street and immediately drove to Firestone because it was the nearest tire shop. I pull up in the car area and TOM MCNICHOLS starts yelling Get out of my garage! . I was certain he wasn t talking to me so I rolled my window down to see what he was saying. He then told me to move my car. I told him I had a blow out and can t drive on the rim. He says you been driving this long on it. Move it now! I asked him why he couldn t change my tire as there was only one other car in the garage. He then says it s a 3 hour wait. I asked could I speak to the manger and he said he was the manager. I walked inside where a nice young lady told me that there was actually NO WAIT AT ALL! She took care of me right away. I asked TOM MCNICHOLS why he lied and to give me the number to corporate. He looked me disgustingly and said in a minute . I recorded the entire interaction. I will never come here again.Service: Tires

11:32am on a Wednesday, walk in, stores fully empty, someone walks out of the office clearly annoyed that I ll be needing them to do their jobs now.1 car in the hanger on a lift, 3 cars parked in the parking lot, zero mechanics working on cars, quoted a 3 hour wait for an obligatory state inspection. Employee wasn t apologetic or was willing to offer any help. There s this thing called urgency and hard work; this location hasn t been urgent or hard working in years. 2 stars given bc it s close to my house and didn t have to drive far to be disappointed by this shop for the 1000th time.

This particular location fixed another mechanic mess on my 1st visit which led me to come back and do business. My 2 visits after weren t as good.Cost of repairs are parallel to dealerships.Unfortunately on one visit there wasn t anything they could do so I took it to a repair shop in another city where they figured out the problem literally in less than two minutes and repaired it under $100 dollars.I m going to stick with buying what these companies specialize in, tires from tire companies, oil change from oil change companies etc .These do it all services are not cutting it.Live and learn.I also watched another customer share a complaint with one of the mechanics and she was polite however the mechanic didn t respond verbally but the look that was given wasn t kool at all.The respect for customers is truly gone in many businesses.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I had the best customer service at my neighborhood Firestone, I went in to get my car checked out because it was making a noise on the left side there it started at the front desk. Tom what's the nicest kindest person that I've met in a long time he assured me it was going to be all right it wasn't going to cost a fortune but they couldn't tell me right away so just leave the keys and when they got the chance to fix it then he would call me so I did with some trepidation you know how women are we don't know if you know they're going to do right by us but they did he had someone to take me home drop me off and then he called me later in the evening and let me know that they have not had a chance to get to it yet but it was going to be all right. Well I knew it was going to be all right because Tom just had that it's going to be okay attitude, on the second day they called me and told me that it was fixed and it was not that much to have it fixed but there were other things that they found that did need to be fixed which was not a small amount but because he assured me I did need to get these things taken care of before they broke I did it and I can tell you that I have never felt so much better about going to a firestone by myself as a woman Tom assured me that it was going to be okay and so from that day forward I have been going to Firestone in my neighborhood and letting people know around me that's sitting there it's going to be okay because Tom he said that it's going to be okay so I give that Firestone a 5 because it's just been a five because he said so!!.

Honest service goes an extremely long way with me. I went up there to get a wheel alignment. They could've quietly done it and moved on about their lives and I would not have noticed much of a difference. But they saw that I did not need an alignment and just charged me for a checking fee. That was very cool of them to do so.My floor mat was a little out of place, but very small things....lol

Absolutely a rip off, I went to get my 150k belt replacement they say they've fixed it but I don't notice a difference (500$). Next time I drive it starts jumping like crazy and has never done that before. I take it back and they try to charge me 600$ to replace the spark plugs (forced me to pay a 100$ diagnostic). I do it myself for 80. But then my car starts screeching when I turn. I take it to a different mechanic and they tell me it's because my guess what? Belts are all installed incorrectly they're loose and one even needs to be replaced. (Another 600$) save your time and go straight to a dealership. Or at least don't use this one if you are a young woman.

I went in to take advantage of a $10 promotion. Next thing I know they replaced parts and changed for labor, all without getting any authorization. $155 later, I can assure you I will never return to another Firestone!
