I wanted to purchase a vehicle through carmax because of the advertised ease of the process. Also the cars are known to be non negotiable because they're gone through and in top notch condition .I did an online purchase and pick up which should have been sign a few documents on arrival and drive, instead it took 5 hours of what seemed like a complete circus.Upon finally leaving with the vehicle it had a brake light out, wipers weren't replaced, it was getting horrible gas mileage so I checked the map sensor and it was clogged. The air filter was dirty and the transmission was slipping. The only good thing is the vehicle was cleaned and had new tires.This is not what I expected at all. I would avoid dealing with them at all cost.Update ; got in car this morning after a rain to everything being soaked . From a roof leak. Carmax is a joke.

I was impressed by the low pressure non salesy approach. I m happy with my vehicle, pricing, and payment. Happy with warranty program. Super happy with the no obligation 30 day return policy.The things I am not as happy about are that I had to wait an extra week without even a phone call to tell me why the delay. I was told on the phone many times that a 24 hour test drive was available and when I arrived they told me it is extremely difficult to do that. Also, they repainted the side of the car and didn t disclose it to me. I found tape and signs of fresh repainting later. I still wanted to keep the car but this seemed a bit shady.

I wasn t sure what to expect when walking in, being it s my first time buying a car. The lady at the front desk was very friendly as well as Dolf who was helping me through the whole process of qualification. He made it very easy for me to understand while putting my needs before his. Even after realizing I wouldn t be able to leave with a car today, he still continued to help me as if I was going to. And I greatly appreciate the help and information he gave me today. I was pretty anxious beforehand not knowing much about cars, but Dolf made it very clear and was very straight up about what I would need as in documents and payments. I will definitely be coming back to either this location or another to purchase my first car because of the excellent service I got today. Thank you!

BUY YOUR CAR IN HULEN! Great customer service! I will refer to this location. Friendly and helpful. They made the whole process comfortable and easy. I first went to Texas Stadium Irving DON T GO TO THE IRVING LOCATION it was a nightmare to say the least. After feeling discriminated against in Irving I thought Id try the Hulen location . It was the best decision, Hulen was pleasurable and my car is beautiful . Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing experience. They were so attentive and considerate. They totally changed my mind about Carmax!

This is my 3rd CARMAX vehicle. Carmax never fails to satisfy. The process is simple, fast, thorough and SO satisfying after many years of dealing w dealerships always walking away feeling like you just got bamboozled in some way.Needless to say I have a great car I feel good about. I know I protected myself with a CARMAX Care plan. I also know I can come back any time w questions or needing help and my salesman will be there to see that my needs are met. What have you got to lose?

Secured van for next day road test. The agent was prompt, and the van met my expectations. Gave me a good price on my truck for trade. I left with the van.My only complaint was made ready for drive off took forever. 2 hours

Took a car to be appraised. I walked around in the main lobby looking for someone to talk to about it. No one spoke to me. I called the dealership from inside the dealership to get anyone to acknowledge that I existed. That is why I couldn't give them 5 stars. After talking on the phone with a person in the office I still stood there and waited with no one talking to me. That is why I couldn't give them 4 stars. When I was finally noticed I still had to wait a pretty long time to get any service. About an hour after arriving I was finally given a very low offer. That is why I could not give then 3 stars. When I was finally spoken to the staff was nice. That's why I gave 2 stars rather than 1. My advice to this car dealership; when potential customers drive to you in nasty weather conditions to give you the chance make money off of them at least pretend you know you have compettion.

This place has always been awesome to me. I ve sold two vehicles here. Make sure to make an appointment if possible! I feel they give a fair trade in value and they make the process so seamless and pain free. I was in and out within 90 minutes! Hiiiigghhhlly recommend. I d even be interested in buying a car here in the future if I need one!

Walked in and told the salesman what I was looking for. He did not try and sell me anything more than what I wanted. Which I loved. Very quick and easy process!! Weeks and hundreds of miles later, the car runs amazing. No problems! River Ranch Blvd location rocks!

Don t Go This is 442 the signal came on after I went to Car max and the Appraiser did test drive on my H3 Hummer.I was in the car too so I know how he was driving my car. Which been stored in the garage at all time.He push gas pedal to the floor in my H3 hummer; gunning the Gas now the check engine light is on. Who drive s someone vehicle like 100 miles in changing gears to check the transmission.I am going to sue them for damages to my SUVHe claim it was on prior to me coming there he was lying to my face; which he didn t mention it nor did he say it was on while checking my car doing the inspection, lies to cover his mistakes.It came on right after he drove it crazy gunning to the floor like a foolHe could barely fit inside my car, big over size 6 5 ft 400 lbs.Who? drives someone suv 2007 H3 Like a maniac and no respect for my car.Even the other sr buyer came out saying how nice and well kept my SUV being maintained.He lied to my face the check engine light was not on, the car max on Off Hulen and I20 damaged my H3 yesterday at 8:15pm last nightDon t take your car there.

1st sales guy was nice concerning and polite. Unfortunately he got busy with a sell and we was pushed off to a not so likeable man. I was offered very little $13,500 for my very nice low mile full loaded Certified Buick, that was a joke. Took my business elsewhere.

Instead of shopping at the dealership my son took me to Carmax. I found the one I had been looking at online and took a test drive. I purchased it and am so happy for it!!!

We found the car we liked online, and went in for an unscheduled test drive on Saturday. We were able to drive it right away. After a trip home for other events and a couple of days to clean up the trade the car was still available.We went back the next Saturday to purchase and take delivery. Because we had a high value trade, we didn't have to finance and paid the balance in cash. The process was fairly smooth, with the only issue being poor integration between the online system and the in-store system. All the information I entered online had to be re-entered in store. That's why I'm only giving 4 stars.The whole process, including evaluating my trade, paperwork for tax, title, and registration, as well as cleaning and a gas fill-up took just over 2 hours. So far, after 300 miles and 2 weeks of daily driving the car is doing well. Hopefully we'll discover any issues (if there are any) within the 90-day warranty period.Based on my experience, I'd recommend CarMax!

I had an appointment but they were really busy so I had to wait. No problem. I waited then went up to ask them when my turn would be and they said I was next after about an hour. So I waited another 40 minutes and went to ask again, the guy was like did you receive a call during that time? I said yes, but it was from a random number and area code so I didn t pick up. He said that was probably one of them and since I didn t answer they took my name off the list. Instead of going to the waiting area and asking for me they re going to call from a random number and expect me to answer? Waste of time just to get an appraisal on my vehicle. Go somewhere else, there s other options.

Recently my wife and I stopped by CarMax in the midst of our hunt for a new car. While we didn't walk out with a purchase, I wanted to give a shout out to the salesman assigned to us, Daryl Okeke. Daryl was gracious, understanding and responsive to our needs. While we did not leave with a car, the visit was helpful in clarifying some needed info in the continuing hunt. :-)

I bought a car and the check engine came on after about 2 weeks but with their 30 day money back guarantee I was able to return the car and get into another one with no hassle! Now I got an even better deal and walked away very happy!!UPDATE!! Added 12/20/22 My headlight went out and when I went to change it found out there is no bulbs the whole thing had to be replaced and it s going to cost over $1500 but guess what?! Carmax repairs all things free of charge within 90 days off purchase! I am so happy! This is the best place to buy a used car!

Love this place! After selling two cars here, I came this time to purchase a Honda. Christian was assisting me all throughout the process. He was so patient and knowledgeable. He knows a lot about cars and he loves his job. Heather helped with the docs and I was ready to drive my beautiful car within a short time. I have had bad and mediocre experiences with many car dealers. They all seem to wear you down by getting your info and leaving you to sit alone for a long time with no reason... in Carmax they are very straight forward and helpful. They check the car history for you and it s easy to review their lists of vehicles online. All in all- quite an easy experience, and I love the car I ve purchased here!

Had a not so great experience at the Arlington location after I had my car for a few weeks but was having issues and I needed to get into another. WAZ helped us out several times to find something for our family and made it so much better after the stress of the other car breaking down. His communication and knowledge was on point. Highly recommend this location and their customer service. Don t forget to ask for Waz!

We had a truck sent to our store which only took about a day. Our sales rep sent us on a test drive and we bought it. This is our third vehicle from CarMax and the 3 trade ins. We have always felt we got a fair trade in value for each of our cars.

My Salesman Waz, Contract Specialist & Josh, my Service Representative, were wonderful. I got a very fair price for my Jeep and my monthly payment. I was very impressed by Josh who agreed to body work that I did not notice on the day of the sale (I was just so excited to have a Miata again) & a few days later, my mechanic pointed out the chipped paint on the hood of the car & the broken part just below the hood and after that, I went to the Service Dept & Josh agreed to the needed repairs.Thank all the Staff at the FW store for making my car buying experience so great !!!
