I can t say enough good things about the service I received at AAMCO. Reuben was extremely helpful and very kind to me. He offered me information in a way that I, a non-mechanical person, did not feel overwhelmed. If you have any kind of transmission problem, this is the best place to go for help!

Highly recommend, seriously! Good car mechanics are hard to find, IMO, but Reuben and the team were fabulous. Not only did they provide a great customer service experience, they were highly skilled in diagnosing and fixing the problem with my Jeep. I m new to town and have been looking for a reputable place to bring my car when I have issues, I ve now found the place. Of course, I hope I don't have to go back anytime soon (car troubles are never fun) but when/if I do, I ll be going back to Reuben and the team at Aamco.

Had a transmission replaced with them and prior to before removing the old one it had no leaks. I get car back and now is leaking puddles of trans fluid and will not give reasonable service to fix issue, typical shade tree mechanic service

Great job by Ruben and his team. Rebuilt transmission for my truck and fixed some oil leaks that were discovered while the truck was on the lift.Again great job.This old man feels much safer while driving in the Ft Worth area. Services: Transmission, Oil change

Honest shop providing outstanding services. The guys make it a point for you to understand what they've looked at and what issues may or may not be present. I recommend this place to everyone I talk to about auto repair. This is definitely the only place in Fort Worth I feel comfortable taking my car to. Thanks Aamco!Edit: I'd like to point out I have no personal connections with anyone who works here. It's just a good shop that does quality work and doesn't try to take advantage of me. Much appreciatedAnother edit: I miss this shop so much. I moved to Seattle earlier this year and the next place I talk to about my car will be the 5th shop that I've tried to go to for an honest assessment of my vehicle for a single issue. I wish I could wave a wand and put my car in this AAMCO's lot. If you're on the fence, give them a try. They really are awesome, do great work, and probably the most good-hearted auto shop I've ever talked to.

Ruben saw that I was on hard times, and didn't have the money to pay for my diagnostic check and helped me out. My family has always came here and now they have gained me as a new customer.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU WANT IT FIXED! They had to rebuild my transmission in Sept 2022. Less than 6 months later it messed up again. My warranty company would not let me take it anywhere else. I took my car back to them to fix and was told it needed rebuild again. They have have had it 4 weeks and everytime I call I get some sob story about technicians and it will be "another 2 weeks".Bunch of sham artistsService: Transmission

I will post again as they continue to block me. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP. All you will get is a "it will be done in 2 weeks" answer. They rebuilt my transmission Sept 22, not 6 months later it started to slip and fault out again. It has been held hostage at this shop since having to take it back for a warranty repair and when I call, my number is blocked. AAMCO corp is not any help either, as I am now getting no response from them as well.IF YOU WANT YOUR CAR FIXED, STAY AWAY FROM ANY AAMCO ESPECIALLY THIS ONE!Oh, and the placated response to the last review, "we are sorry you have had a bad experience please contact us" is them just trying to save face as they won't answer the phone or email they provided.Service: Transmission

The negativity coming from some reviews is absolutely FALSE. Reuben does a fantastic job making people feel fine and not overly worry about the issues with their cars. He doesn t treat people like business deals, very easy to get along with and relate to. The plan and process for your repair is already mapped out by these guys. Have no worries about price because they re going to help you find a way to get your car fixed no matter what the price might end up being. Then comes the repair itself. Nothing is missed. They don t dirty up your car from all the getting in and out. My car preformed better when I left AAMCO than before it had problems to begin with. This location does its job. 10/10 recommend.Service: Transmission

I called and told them I needed specific parts and repairs done. The parts were ordered immediately and installed on the same day, and a lot faster than I expected. I feel very comfortable getting repairs here, as I drive my vehicle for work.The guys were very respectful, kind and fair with their prices. I will certainly go back when more car work is needed. :)

I had a transmission rebuilt here about 6 months ago. Ruben was a huge help in the process and the repair was done in the time frame I was given. I was pleased enough with the service I received that I came back for another minor issue with the engine. They were honest every step of the way and took care of me. Took my vehicle in because it stop shifting gears. They charged me for New shift cable and labor. 1month later the shift cable got off again. This time he said it was the bushing it needed to be replaced. He replaced it under warranty. Two days later the car stop shifting. After paying for the wrecker 2 times I was not going to make 3 times. And same thing to happen. Again I took the vehicle to MK AUTO he replaced the shift cable. He showed me the one that was on there. The rubber was dry rotted. And old the bushing was worn and out of shape. He also show me the new part. What really makes me mad is that aamco also over torque my transmission pan gasket making the slow leak. To a fast leak. I also paid for that to get fix. They fix it the second time around.

Was told over the phone I could get a free diagnostic bit when I arrived I was told it was $125 , it was only free if I had the repair done , so not free it is a bait and switch tactic and not what a business should be practicing, AAmco used to be a reputable business with integrity, do not use these people.

Reuben at Aamco is amazing!!! He is straight to the point and let s you know exactly what s wrong with your car. I really appreciated his honesty and reasonable prices. He quickly got the repair done and my car was ready almost a week early. Awesome experience coming from someone who loathes car problems or having to fix them. I can t recommend him enough and I will be back with any other car issues.Services: Transmission, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes
