Had Cat 3126 ECM go bad. I ordered a replacement from 1EngineControl and emailed them my parameters to program. They sent it out very quickly and the ECM they sent is fine, but they did not program it like they said they would. It's not a difficult process. Granted, it would take some time to go line by line and input them. So I'll still have to take it to someone that can finish the programming. They offered to do it if I sent it back to them...no way am I taking that out and putting it back in. I know it would be more convenient for them, but definitely not for their customer (me). I am satisfied with the part they provided and their communication but they did not deliver what was sold to me, unfortunately.

I sent in my ECM for refurbishment. I paid $400 up front for the services. They inspected it and called me letting me know it was "Non-repairable". They refunded me $250 as their policy is that if the unit is not repairable they retain $150 for the inspection. I knew "Non-repairable" was a possibility and was not surprised. I purchased a refurbished ECM from them for another $1011. My total paid was $1161. I installed the new ECM to find out my truck runs the exact same.There was nothing wrong with my ECM. It turned out I had different issues. Now I have 2 perfectly good working ECMs because they diagnosed mine as "Non-repairable" when they should have said "We didn't find anything wrong with it."Their communication was decent and professional. They sent plenty of email updates as to what was going on. I was counting on them and they let me down. Now I've spent almost $1200 when it should have been $150.It gets weird though. The ECM they had sent to me was from an outside source on Ebay. I understand plenty of legit businesses run through Ebay too but it just seemed werid that such a professional establishment would do that.It was tough making the choice for an ECM refurbishment company. I've looked around a lot and many people seem to have 50/50 experiences with every single one of these companies. You can find dirt on almost any ECM company on the BBB website. All in all, I'm glad I worked with 1Engine Control because I feel like anyone else would have been worse to deal with. Though I would never refer anyone to them. Unfortunately I feel like I still got tricked into spending another $1050 that I didn't have any reason to.Service: Electrical

Ecm repaired, $80 postage + $150 Handling fee to return it and they filled customs paperwork wrong and said it was my problem to get it send back and they wouldn t offer a refund on postage or handling. I wouldn t recommend using them if you live outside the U.SService: ElectricalService: Electrical

I ordered an Cat ecm for my Pete last November with a 1 year warranty and late October/early November the truck started losing ignition power to the ecm while driving. I replaced all wires power and ground to the ecm and it still is doing the same thing, it is the ecm itself and I have emailed and called these people every day and all I get it the secretary telling me she will send a message to the correct department meanwhile that year warranty is running out. It sucks because I need that ecm and it cost me money every time I have to return loads because the truck shut down in the middle of the road or highway.Finally was able to get in contact with a representative, they did indeed honor the warranty and are currently sending me a new ECM.

they purchased a USED NON WORKING CORE via ebay from me. then decided to return the item to be for being "not working". after being forced to accept the return via ebay the left me negative feedback and sent me a different item as a return and now im out 600 dollars and i have a junk return from them. these people are scam artists.Service: Electrical

I tried another company in grand prairie and was running in circles for my Cat Ecm. Called here and they were able to fix my Cat Ecm. Upgrade my Horepower to 550Hp for my c15 truck. Thanks 1Enginecontrol. Happy customer.

I sent my Cat ECM from Australia to the USA for repair it was checked and quoted for repair around $700 US which i paid, received the unit back which I refitted to the engine and found to be faulty with the engine hunting and stalling with a voltage bleed in the ECU 12v down to 2 volts then back up to 12 nearly stalling, Juan suggested sending it back which i did and they had the same problem the ECU was sent back to me again i fitted it agin with no change?I have twin engines and both times I took the ECU off the second engine and fitted it to make sure it was definitely the ECU at fault and the engine ran fine !I was told my emails with questions had gone to spam after I received late replies with no answers now I cannot get any replies to my emails and am way out of pocket and have had no refund or response.RichardDarwin Australia

Awful!! They listed price of $1099 with core for a C15 ecm and it was supposedly in stock. I sent my ecm, and when they said it was not reparable, the price jumped to $1900. Their rep Juan Estrada said there was nothing they could do and insisted I pay $1900. bait and switch, pure and simple!!!

Purchased remanufactured computer for my Signature 600 CumminsIt failed with 1 Month of with hauling with it. I had to have a road service call by Rush Truck which cost me $800.00. They would warranty the computer but will not cover the cost of the service call.1 Engine Control will not stand behind there products. BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS OR NO EMAIL REPLIES. TOOK THREE WEEKS TO GET PART AND IT DIDNT WORK. THEY WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH CONNING ME. DO NOT DO BUSINESS.
