We had a blowout on our Class C RV about 7 miles outside of Fort Stockton. Thankfully, Five Star Tires, Lube & Service had us back on the road well within 1 hour from us contacting them. They were great! Thank you so much for your quick service and reasonable price.

Joel was a real lifesaver! We rolled into town knowing we were in need of a new tire, but since it was after 5pm we were afraid that we would have to wait until morning. Thankfully Five Star was open and saved the day! Great, friendly service. They really are deserving of the name!

The BEST service I ve ever had, I can t recommend Five Star more! Plus for roadside tire emergencies, he s way more reasonable than the roadside services in town that will charge you $300+ to only tow you. He came to my car, swapped my tire & then gave me an extremely fair price on a replacement tire. I wish him all the success in the world because his kindness shines through in everything he does.

He was the only one in town who had the size I needed in stock. It's a 2013 f-150 so this is not a rare vehicle, keep that in mind. Also this man turned around from going out of town and came back and did it in his dress clothes. I would recommend this place to anyone in Ft Stockton

Joel was professional, patient, accommodating, and provided great service.With that said, I was sold 4 Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain tires at an ok price for the occasion (2 blown tires 650 miles from home) installed.What I received were 4 Goodyear Wrangler All-Season discount tires at more than double the typical sale price. Further than getting charged $1600 for the tires, they were not balanced, which made the ride home fun.Overall if you're in a pinch, Joel will take care of you. In doing so he will make an exception mark up for his convenience. Please keep this in mind and make sure you're absolutely certain you know what you're getting and the price is acceptable.

I was stranded on Interstate 10, 61 miles east of Ft. Stockton, with a tire blowout. Mercedes of El Paso, and Austin were unresponsive to my call for help. I finally reached the nice folks at 5 Star and they had a tire in-stock. When I arrived by tow truck, the owner made sure that I was back on the road within 15-20 minutes. Really good communication, and service. Thank you, guys!

Took care of our shredded tire and kept us on the road! We had a tow truck take us to this shop since we saw they are open 24/7 and it was already 7pm. The guy was super nice did a great job replacing our tire. Really appreciated their service. Make sure you call before you get there since it s not a walk up they have to open a gate for you.

I feel blessed to have come across Joel and his services. He gave me a great price for my new tires and also saved my butt when I needed it. He also tells you step by step about your car s needs and how to care for your vehicle. He is a great guy and is very patient and welcoming.I highly recommend you come to him for your car needs

We got stranded on I-10 due to a flat tire, I was recommended to this business and within hours Joel arrived and replaced the tire on the spot. He was personable that offers fair pricing. Best possible outcome for our situation.

We had a blowout Saturday night on our RV. Managed to limp in with the spare and then called Five Star first thing Sunday morning (6:30) and Joel called back within five minutes. One hour later we were all set with a new tire all mounted up and were able to continue our trip without delay. Super friendly and great service. Thank you Joel!!

Service was alright but the price is outrageous. A lot of extra fees that doesn t make sense. How are you charging after hours fees at 11:30am and is not even a Sunday or holiday! Smh

Thanksgiving day blown tire to El Paso. Everywhere closed as Joel saved the day. Joel even drove to the next town to pickup my tires as his shop didn't have my size. The man is reliable and is a hard worker.

Joel went above and beyond his abilities I popped a tire coming from san Antonio on my way home to california and he answered my call even though I was hours away he set it up for me to come see him on a SUNDAY in Texas!!! He really is a man that is trying to help you... Tha k you again JOEL!!!

Joe helped me replace the tire on my u haul when no one else could. He really hooked me up and got me out of a tough situation. Not only that the tire replacement was down with quality and efficiency!

Another flat tire on I-10, we had already used our spare. Joel, the owner came out with two tires, 30 minutes out of Ft. Stockton. Was able to get the tires back on the rims on the road.

Would recommend- available 24/7 but call in advance. Five Star Tires patched a hole in our tire that safely got us to Carlsbad. Thoughtful, friendly service!

We were stranded this weekend outside Ft Stockton w a blowout. After driving into town w a spare, we called five stars late Saturday and gentleman showed up at hotel and fixed our issue. He went above and beyond and would recommend this service to anyone. Thank you.

After my tire blew I called this guy and told me he could help me so me and my wife slapped on the spare and drove to this shop where I was debating between getting all my tires replaced or just the one that blew but when I got there and saw the way he charged my mind blew he tried to charge me 1000 dollars for 3 tires in the bill it included a 75 dollar after hours fee when he claims to be 24 hour then when I said Never mind I ll grab just the one I need to go on my way he said ok and charged me 384 FOR ONE TIRE like what no thank you and when I rejected he told me there s no where else here that s open right now you have too, I said no again and left he gives unfair prices, there s no way it s legal to charge for after hours when his shop says 24 hours bad place bad service and bad prices.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Driving through TX to report for military orders and caught a flat. Online it says that it is 24 hours however they charge you an after hours fee? Super confusing. I reached out to a nearby lawyer just to obtain some transparency on if this was legal and he stated it was not and this place is under investigation for up-charging. BE VERY CAUTIOUS!UPDATE FROM LAWYER: DO NOT JUST POST A NEGATIVE REVIEW HERE, HEAD OVER TO THE BBB WEBSITE AND POST THERE AS WELL! THIS HELPS A TON WITH THEIR INVESTIGATION.

Joel gave an accurate estimate on both price and arrival time for roadside assistance. He came well prepared with more tires than needed and carefully checked and confirmed our unaffected RV tires still appeared safe for the continuation of our travels. His knowledge and warm personality gave us ease in what, to that point, had been a stressful situation with two tire blowouts. He worked carefully, methodically and quickly to get us back on the road. We were very satisfied with the quality and price of service, and especially the professionalism of Joel.

Joel was very nice and easy to work with. Helped me install 2 tires at 3am on a Sunday morning and saved me a lot of headache. Do not hesitate to give him a call at any time as he will answer or call you back. You will pay a premium so expect that for any after hours work.

We got a flat tire 20 miles out of Marathon coming from Big Bend. We were able to get our spare tire on and looked up closest tire shop. I called Joel, the owner of Five Star Tire, and he was able to immediately tell me they had 4 of my tires in stock. I told him we would be there in an hour and he met us at his shop after hours. Fast, quick, reliable service!!! Joel is super friendly too! Very pleased with our service!!

All I can say he is awesome! Great costumer service, very funny, polite. So my tire blew up in the middle of the night and it was a very cold night and windy, he didn t have my tire and rim size, so he took me and my husband to a hotel and he left to Odessa the closest place to get us a tire and a rim and fixed our car and picked us up and everything! His help was better than even a friend would do it. He is not very cheap but it is the best service I ever had! Highly recommended!

I affirm all the 5 star reviews. Joel was courteous and polite. He takes his work very seriously and even took the time to reinstall my spare. His prices were honest including the after hour service.

Awesome and reliable service! Our daughter was on her way back to California when she had a mishap caused by the high winds and ended up with 2 blown out tires. He came out of his way roughly 100 miles round trip to make sure that her and her friend got back on the road safely. The gentleman stayed in contact with us the whole time and let us know when the job was finished. Thank you and you are much appreciated.

Price Gouging!! Be aware of your options! We picked up a road hazard (Nail or Screw) in our tire while traveling. We were 12 miles outside of Ft Stockton. I called this place since it stated 24 hours. (It was about 5 pm local time) We put on our own spare and only needed a Tire Patch. We DROVE TO THEM!! We definitely did not anticipate the cost for this repair! They had NO SIGNS posted on price. They charged us a $75 "After Hours Fee" and then $35 to patch our tire. HIGHWAY ROBBERY!! We should have stopped at the Tire Repair Shop that Looked like it was open close to Love's. Boy, did we learn a hard lesson. They really took advantage of us as we were faced with a stressful situation. Shame on them!!
