I was towed here because my rv wasn't going into gear. It started out he was super nice to me and made sure I was comfortable. It went downhill from there. I sat in my rv for 3 months. My bill was way over the estimate. His dog bit me and I ended up with a Dr bill of $1500. He fixed my back light with a wedged rock which caused a short and more problems. Since I've left, I've had problem after problem and its all come back to the work he did. I truly think he was trying to kill me. One shop found that my drive shaft was being held up by 1 screw. After the drive shaft ended up breaking on the interstate later and getting that replaced, my transmission started to fall out. It turns out he never tightened the screws on the mount and it almost fell completely out while driving. This is also the reason it broke on the interstate. He had a problem with me for whatever reason and I truly think he did it on purpose. Not to mention a random waitress in the restaurant told us him and his friend cut her brakes after they broke up.Whatever you do, avoid this shop. He might seem nice, but if you don't do and act just like he wants, your life is in the hands of either a psychopath or at least a very incompetent person. It's insane this man can have a shop when he is this dangerous. I don't normally write bad reviews, but he seriously could have killed me. Luckily, I have people watching out for me and I'm able to write this review. Good luck to anyone forced to go this shop.And screw you for putting mine and my dog's life in danger.Reply to business:First of all, the comment about the boyfriend shows exactly why you did what you did. You were upset I wasn't interested in you and give you attention you wanted. It wasn't a boyfriend. It was a friend helping me. Doing nice deeds doesnt count if you want something from it. Every other mechanic lets me stay in the rv, so thats just how things are done... especially if you take 3 months. Second, it shows what a bad mechanic you are. An e brake has no affect on the transmission or drive line. It affected my brake pads and drum. Third, my brake actually does work on my transmission now that it's properly mounted, so you also gave him wrong information. As for the dogs, my dogs have never bit anyone. They were always on leashes. Also, I never laid a hand on your dog. I loved your dog more than you did. I gave him treats everyday and you were mad he didn't listen to you when I was around because we bonded. You said he wasn't good with dogs, so I kept mine away. I was sitting outside your shop with my dogs on a leash when your unleashed dog ran out and held mine down making it look like he was biting him and when I tried to get him off because you trained him not to listen to anyone else, he bit me. When I said he bit me, you looked at me, smirked and said, "What, did you try to get him off." Yes I did, because I thought your 90 pound dog was killing my mini aussie. You didn't care at all. As for the lawyers, they didn't follow through with it because they said you don't have insurance on your shop!!! I have never tried to sue anyone in my life, so I'm not trying to scam anyone. The only reason I got lawyers was because I knew you wouldn't pay the doctor bills. I have the doctor bills and xrays and scars to prove your dog bit me. I'm offended you would ever say I would lay a hand on a dog. I treated your dog like he was my own. This just proves you're a psychopath and not just negligent. Insane. Good luck to anyone who walks in this shop. Add pathological liar to the list of problems with this shop.

My car broke down in the parking lot of the gas station, I called EZ Auto Repairs to see if they would be able to fix my car that day as I was just passing through. The person that I spoke with (sorry I didn t catch his name) did inform me that as long as it wasn t anything major he should be able to and also was able to help me with a quicker tow truck service. Within a short time after arriving at their shop my car was diagnosed, parts were on the way and they had my car taken apart and ready for the new part. Everyone was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I appreciate and I m so thankful that they were able to get my car in, fixed and had me back on the road so quickly! I would 100% recommend this shop to everyone! Thank y all again for everything and I really do appreciate y all!

BE AWARE - PAYED $1,800 AND MY TRUCK BROKE DOWN 3 HOURS DOWN THE ROAD. I was passing through, pulling my camper and my truck broke down and Brandon got me in right away. 1 week and $1,800 later I was on the road again. However, 3 hours down the road, my truck broke down again with the same problem he stated that he fixed!! This location will not tell the truth about what they are or are NOT able to fix but they will be happy to take your money, send you down the road and then ghost you. So so sad.

Excellent service with a drive to always go above and beyond in every situation. A year ago i was on my way to arizona when my transmission gave up on me. I was quickly offered a number for a local tow truck company if needed but i made it to the shop without that being a necessity. Brandon did everything he could to find me a new one and get it in as soon as possible and unfortunately by no fault of the shop but rather thanks to shipping delays i was waiting for a while. Brandon and his family did a wonderful job making sure i had everything i could possibly need. They went as far as to loan me a vehicle to drive and gave me a place to stay when my vehicle was getting its work done as soon as the part arrived. As for this shop they were very prompt and respectful of me and my situation as they did everything they could to get me on the road again. In the time i waited for parts to arrive i can truly say i gained great friends with brandon and his family and his sweet shop dog too. These people always make sure customers have an option to get to a ride if needed even if its in the next town over an hour and a half away. I personally was blessed by them with a ride to a uhaul company in that next town so i could continue my trip to arizona. They always make sure to get people through as quick as possible and they always stand by their work if things go wrong. No one wants to be broke down and stranded in a strange town but if it has to happen i couldnt think of any better place for it to happenThanks Brandon and Family!!

I highly recommend EZ Auto I was in a bind, and I lost my key to my car, and I would have to tow my car to Odessa to get it programmed, thankfully I had an extra key. I jus needed it to be programmed and I would have to drive an hour to get it done. Thanks to EZ auto they programmed my key to my car, and the service was quick, friendly and they got the job done. Broke down today on the side of the road 30+ miles south of his town. Within a few minutes, Brandon happened to be driving by. He took time out of his day to go out of his way to stop and was the best help. He made sure to get me on my way! Truck broke down and needed a jump. They got there in less than 5 minutes. I told them my situation and they gave me 2 options. Great service and very friendly i made it where I needed to be in California because of them. I owe them greatly

I cannot say enough good things about the service we received. We were passing through in an RV and broke down just outside Fort Stockton. They were extremely accommodating! Even offered to stay open late, if we couldn't get there before they closed. Don't let the outside looks influence you. Brandon, the owner, was very respectful and even checked other stuff, that checked out in good order. Call them first, especially if you are on the road and need service quickly so you can get back on the road again. Thanks again, Brandon!

Brandon and his family are top notch. He took care of my family when we needed it most. Our transmission was toast and needed a rebuild. Brandon, the owner, did a great job of pulling it out and getting it rebuilt and getting us back on the road. They went above and beyond in their service and I couldn't be happier with them. I don't recommend breaking down but if you do call Brandon at EZ Auto. They'll treat you fair and honest and get you going and on your way.Service: Transmission

My sister used this place. I looked it over to help get it inspected. Missing transmission housing bolts. Motor mount bolts missing front grill just hanging on because of missing hardware. Fender well flaps just hanging on. Broken side light mounting points.A Hack job for premium fee.

EZ Auto doesn't have the glare and flair of the big-name business in the city. Instead of judging the place by its appearance, judge it by the style of the owner's own ride. Travelling around West Texas my A/C decided to retire. Mr. Ezell replaced the A/C, brake pads, spark plugs, and fan belt, and did it all in three hours, and even chauffeured me to and from my hotel. When I saw his hourly rates, it gave me a vapor lock; But, my only complaint was that the screw caps were left off the A/C high and low pressure port valve connections, and I never found one of them. Quick work, great work, highly knowledgeable, hell of a guy. Mr. Ezell, it was a privilege and an honor, Sir! We were traveling cross country and had engine trouble in Fort Stockton. These guys were the ONLY ones who would see us same day. The price was super reasonable. The mechanics were knowledgeable and patient. They had us drive around and come back to make sure it was fixed. Definitely recommend!

On our way home to CT in our RV. We were having a problem with the motor shutting down when it started to rain. The mechanic was able to locate the problem. There is a plastic fiting that is connected to the fuel pump relay that had a broken piece which was allowing water to get in and then the sensor was shutting down the motor like we didn't have fuel. It would of taken 2 days to get a new part in. Our mechanic was able to dry the piece completely out seal it up and get us back on the road. Once we left the shop a few miles down the road, we hit a terentual rain storm. We were able to get through it no problems. I am so grateful that we came across this shop and they were more then happy to get us right in so we could get back on the road and get home. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who is in need of help. They were extremely fair in what they charged us as well. All I can say is thank you thank you for taking the time to help us out!Service: Electrical

Kim here from Australia on a 10 week road trip through US southern states. My Dodge Grand Caravan over heated adding water I limped into Fort Stockton and the first thing I see is the Dodge dealership. I asked if they would have a look at the problem, they responded with $160 diagnosis fee and the result was the engine needs replacing for $6500. Next n there was a brand new D caravan driven to greet me - "we can do you a great deal on this new car and we finance" I seriously considered leaving my car at the airport and flying to LAX and then home as my budget is blown. I left without paying the fee and found "EZ Auto repair" Brandon and coy replaced the water pump and I was on my way in 4 hours. Honest guys and honest service

At First Sight you might be scared off at the small business but the reviews were very good and we were quite impressed with the job we had done on our 450 Ford engines. They took us in immediately and we were done and on our way in under an hour

Have you ever broke down in the middle of nowhere. We did. We called barber s weecker which traveled 100 miles to take our car to ft Stockton Texas. The local dealership could not get to it for two weeks. Cesar with barber s called ez and Brandon said he would get on the repairs. In 4 hours he had replaced the wheel bearing and had us back on the road. Very knowledgeable of what need to be done. Trustworthy operation. Highly recommend

Amazing service. After being thrown around for 3 days by another shop, this place got me quick and fixed my ac. They replaced my blower motor within 30 minutes. Very kind and knowledgeable mechanic. Cheap prices and friendly environment!!! Best place to go to in Fort Stockton!!!

If you ever need mechanical help in the Fort Stockton area call them. Brandon, the owner, and Robert, our mechanic, are fabulous. We're full-time RVers traveling through/spent night in area. Pick up was giving warnings about RV brake wiring, they checked everything finally found issue with brake on one RV wheel. Got replacement parts and took care of problem. They put a lot of time into diagnosing our problem and only charged for a portion of time and then parts.

Brandon told me "the manual" from Chevy says it takes 24 hours labor to swap a transmission in my Tahoe but he would cut me a deal and only charge me for 12. I protested that every mechanic website I visited say 4 1/2 to 8 depending on experience of mechanic.He says if I can get him a quote for less he'll match it. I only found one shop that would even commit to giving me an estimate for their service. The very nice and knowledgeable fella at the Chevy dealership in San Antonio sent me a quote for 9 hours labor. Brandon unhappily obliges to do the job for that much then adds $200 charge he says he had to pay for transmission to be shipped because local dealership won't let him pick one up from them.Shameful example of taking advantage of someone with few options who had the misfortune to break down in a tiny town.

So my mother & I were leaving San Diego to move to Mabank, & BOTH our Water Pump and Thermostat Housing crapped out on us, spilling coolant everywhere & sending the temperature gauge into the red rapidly. We ended up having to sleep in our truck since it was 1:00 AM, but the moment E Z Auto Repair opened they took us right in. We thought that this mechanical failure was going to be your typical "extremely expensive 2-day ordeal".To our pleasant surprise, however, a really cool dude named Fred replaced & installed both failed parts in less than TWO HOURS! That's almost unheard of these days.Anyway, I wrote all of that to say THIS: if you're in the Fort Stockton area & you need your vehicle repaired QUICKLY, PROFESSIONALLY, & PRICED WELL (not to mention also the addition of the light-hearted family environment), PLEASE give these guys your business! You WILL NOT regret it!Fred, if you see this, our Ford Explorer you fixed for us runs PERFECTLY, and now we're finally in our new home. Thank you so much, man!

I'd give this place a no stars if I could. We hit a javelina just outside of town.We were 300+ miles from home. Kept our car 6 days then decided it couldn't be fixed. There are no car rentals or taxis in town. We were stuck in a hotel on the outskirts of town for 6 days. We were told the car would be ready to go by Wed. Friday afternoon at 3 we called again. That was a daily routine. They had promised it would be ready. Did I mention Brandon doesn't work weekends.
