I brought my vehicle here after being recommended by Arves Jones Automotive - and the recommendation was spot on. My A/C had failed. The representative there took a look and explained what options we could do, what the pros/cons were, and the costs by taking each option. I chose to opt for the high cost route, which required additional labor, parts, but warranty was included. My A/C hasn t blown this cold since I first bought the vehicle. Fast and amazing service.

I took my car here in November 2023 and the owner was very helpful. They fixed my e-brake within the same day. I ve taken it to get fixed before and paid way more and it was never resolved till now. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Can see why others rate this place so highly! Was on a long road trip across the country, and all of a sudden, low tire pressure was on for my Mazda. Called this place and drove right there. Staff, the owner, and mechanics were amazingly responsive, immediately started helping me out, and fixed all the issues as if I were their most loyal customer for years!Lastly, the charge was above reasonable, so I had to double it at least to make it fair as I see it for the time spent and service provided.Highly recommend this place!To the owner: Thank you guys for keeping me and my daughter safe on our long trip!

Show-N-Go Automotive fixed many issues with my car with confidence. Rick and his team showed me parts of my car that were totally damaged from issues that I was having. I appreciated the education they gave me on top of fixing my car in a timely manner for a fair and reasonable price. My husband and I will be going there forever more so long as we live in El Paso. Show n Go saved my beloved Chrysler SRT 8. I have a 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT. It has been a great car with almost 200K miles. One day while getting the RPMs up on the freeway I started hearing a ticking noise. Took it one mechanic and said it was a stuck lifter and it was no big deal. Shortly after that the ticking became worse and the car started missing. Took it to another mechanic and the said likely the entire engine would need to be replaced or extensive repair of the engine. The price I was quoted was more than the value of the car.I was about to dump the car when a friend told me to try Show n Go. Called and spoke with Rick who was very knowledgeable and had a pretty good idea what it was. I brought the car in and was told that maybe it could be repaired without pulling the engine. However, after further diagnostics it was likely the lifter had completely broken. The price I was quoted was less than half of the other mechanic with the engine being pulled and both heads being removed. The price made it salvageable.Rick did warn me a head of time it would take some time because he only had one mechanic he trusted to do the job and he had several jobs ahead of me. I had another car to drive so no problem. After about 3 weeks the car was ready. Besides the work on heads and and new lifters and a new cam the water pump was corroded and replaced. They even painted the engine for me! All engine parts were Mopar parts as well. Again all for less than half of what I was quoted before.So I have had the car back for about 5 months now. The engine runs fantastic! There has not been one problem with engine since I picked up the car and started driving it (no sensor lights coming on or anything). I'm so thankful that I took my car there and did not have to buy a another car especially at a time like this where many people have lost their jobs. Thanks Rick and Show n Go for a fantastic job at a very reasonable price.

The other day my 2001 Ford F150 Supercrew would turnover but not start. After doing some basic checks and noting there was no fuel in the fuel rail I hit the tank a few times with a hammer but no luck. She just would not start and it had to be the fuel pump. I called a Ford dealer and was told it would be about $1200 not including the tow. Are they kidding? So a friend of mine suggested Show N Go. They know their stuff. I had the fuel pump, the left rear door actuator, and a new fan belt replaced for WELL under the Ford dealer's insane quesstimate. I was very happy. These guys are good with a quick (less than a day) turn around. I would recommend these guys to everyone.If I ever need service again I know I'll head over to Show N Go.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Love these guys. We have switched in the last couple of years and have always got what I felt was a fair price (way lower than the previous place we went to). They worked with us recently when we had to take our car back for a deeper issue and they really helped us get a good deal. I feel they are honest and don't inflate the price (like many other places I've been to). So grateful a friend recommended this place.Service: Engine repair

I recently switched to Show-N-Go. Very happy with this place. They are charging very reasonable prices, which highly increases my trust level. I don't feel ripped for the first time when dealing with a mechanic. Budget is tight so these people are a God-sent!! Didn't even let me pay for a work they did until I can verify it's fixed. That blew me away. Highly recommend them!

We have brought our 2005 Honda here multiple times over the last year for various repairs and part replacements. Everything they have replaced has held up, we have not had to go back. Labor rates are fair, they will tell you if other repairs are needed, but they aren't pushy. Rick takes care of returning customers, gave us a discount on our most recent repair. They have a great turn around time too, usually done same day or next.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

DO NOT GO HERE!!! We recently took my boyfriend s car here because it had a leak, we dropped it off Monday at 11 AM and they said they d look at it by 2 pm the same day and call if / when they found anything. They didn t call at all that day, so we called the next day thinking we might've left the wrong phone number or something, but the employee said they didn t get a chance to look at it and they were going to do it that day. 6pm comes around and still no call. We decided not to call or try to rush them. Friday of that week and still nothing, so I called and they told me they would get to it first thing in the morning Saturday. Reminder: this is JUST an inspection/ check at this point. They hadn t even LOOKED ay the car yet. So we decided to give them even MORE time. We go back today, Tuesday of the following week and the man told us that they still hadn t looked at it because they had been backed up. At this point me and my boyfriend were fed up and just took the car. Don t waste your time. On top of that the employees are rude. I understand being backed up, but they could ve at least communicated that to us before we left the car there for over a week.

We were referred to Show N Go by a family member because we needed a mechanic in the northeast ASAP. Our sons car had what we thought was going to be a fuel line, pump or gas tank problem. Thankfully it was not any of those things and was an extremely easy fix. In the end, they could have said it was one or even all of those things, but they were honest and upfront about what the problem was, fixed the issue, and we paid less than $20. We live in the Far East side of town, and from now on if I need any mechanical work done I will take or tow any of my vehicles to the Show N Go shop and their mechanics. We are extremely grateful for their honesty and prompt attention. I will definitely recommend them to all my family and friends.

We kept taking our vehicle back to the same place and the always gave us a different reason as to why the check engine light came on....charging a couple thousand in repairs. Two weeks after getting it fixed , it came on again. Took the vehicle to Show & Go....no more problems! Got us in quick, and did a remarkable job. Highly recommend!!!

I took my car in Saturday, June 30, 2018 fully aware there was a leak of refrigerant in my a/c. I questioned leaving my car there because of the attitude of the young girl behind the counter. She felt it necessary to tell me not once, but twice that no one could look at my car that day, which I made very clear both times I had no issues with that. I called them Tuesday afternoon, July 3, 2018 for a status. I was told that my car would be looked at as soon as "the guy" was done putting tires on another car. I called this afternoon, July 5, 2018 for an update and was told by Rick that my work order had been buried in paper work and my car would be looked at asap. Yes, they looked at it this afternoon and filled it up with refrigerant again. I asked on June 30 for an ESTIMATE on fixing the a/c unit as it did not hold the refrigerant last year that this shop professionally installed. I did not have the funds last year to take it back in for repair. Now I've been told I need to drive it until the refrigerant runs out again and then bring it back. I am fully aware there was a holiday during this time but they've had three full business days to look at it. I do not have easy access to another vehicle. Unfortunately, I no longer trust this shop which is unfortunate as I've had great experiences with them in the past. How sad.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! I took it in to have my timing belt replaced. Shortly after, my check engine light came on and my car was driving rough. I had to have it towed to their shop. Where they kept it for several days. No courtesy calls to let me know what was wrong with it. When I would call no one would tell me anything. Finally after having to get upset with them the mechanic told me it was a problem with the timing belt and he wouldn't charge me to fix it. And now guess what.... Same thing! But this time I'm not taking it to them Because I want it done right. So now I have to pay 400 dollars for a different place to take everything apart and fix what Showngo failed to do right twice! I don't know where all these good ratings are coming from if they can't even do a timing belt correctly. Not to mention how rude the mechanic was! Horrible service! And talking with friends and family about this experience I've been finding others with similar experiences.

Bought a Jeep compass with quite a few problems. Everyone here was very helpful. They helped us get better prices, they fixed everything very fast, they were friendly. They even helped us get the seatbelts back up from under the seat last minute because we didnt have the tool to do it ourselves. We will for sure be returning if we ever need a mechanic again. Highly recommend!

These guys are amazing, took in my vehicle and they diagnosed what was wrong immediately. They didn't lie or try and sell me any extra stuff. Got my car back and it's working great again. I wasn't lied to or treated like a fool. Definitely recommend them to anyone.

We had a transmission problem and a problem with the spider gears in the rear differential. Show N Go thoroughly diagnosed the problems and fixed them. Now, our truck runs like a dream. I am extremely impressed with the automotive knowledge of their crew. The cost was fair. I have a lot of experience interacting with Show N Go, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else in the El Paso area. These guys are my #1 goto guys. Repairs are fast.

Worse experience I ever had with maintenance shop. There is no warranty for there work to start off. I had a VW go in for a fuel pump replacement. They put the part on the car but had to call a professional from a certified VW dealership to assist them on putting the part on and ensuring the timing was correct. Well the timing was not correct and it blew the engine. I went back to them to let them know they blew the engine and all I got was a blank stare. The old gentleman said he could do nothing about it. The repairs for a new engine in 4500. Stay away....Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning

Outside of muffler work, I pretty much do my own work plus vehicle restorations and rod building. Rick has done work on my everyday car and the latest was a timing belt change. PT Cruisers are really difficult to get to on the belt and glad he was willing to do the job for me. Thanx for a lot of work at a very fair price!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Rick and his assistant quickly conducted an assessment of our problem and got us back on our way in our cross country trip. And they didn't charge us! Would have given them 5 stars but the woman working the front desk said they couldn't help us even though Rick said they could. I would definitely go back here for service.

Myself as well as my family have gone to Rick Peterson, the owner of Show-N- Go for over 30 years. His automotive knowledge is always up to date and unending. He is without a doubt 100% honest 100% of the time. There is no other business in El Paso that I trust to work on my vehicles.

I believe in the honesty and integrity of this mechanic shop - and that is not an easy review to get from me. My belief stems from one story in particular.When I was newly married and broke my wife's car suddenly blew out all it's freon from the a/c. Living in El Paso without a/c in a car is not possible so we took immediate action. The first shop we went assured our fears that the car required a completely new system which would cost us about $700.Desperate, I went to Show N Go for a second opinion. I explained my dilemma to Rick who quickly mentioned the possibility of a pressure release valve being the issue. Sure enough, 40 mins later I had a refilled a/c functioning better than ever and it cost me $70.That is an experience worth loyalty for about 7 years since.The negative of late is that I have not seen the owner recently. I believe he still has quality people working there but my loyalty is to Rick specifically.

To start I would like to say that the owner of show n go is great, but the worker that worked on my car has to be terrible at noise knowledge. I initially went there for a small knock I heard when I turned, and it turned into me spending close to $700 for parts and labor only to leave with my car making more noises than when I went there. I went back there to have it redone and was assured that the noise was no longer there, to find out that it was worse once again. I know all of these reviews on here say great things, but how hard is it to know what you are doing before you become a mechanic? I give 0 stars but couldn t post the review unless I clicked on at least one star. If I were you, I would advise looking elsewhere before wasting your money like I did. Now I have to suck it up and try someone else to fix it..........thanks show n go.

I have a GMC Sierra 03 and it was not running and I didn't know why so I spoke to Mike which he said to bring it down So we can take a look at the problem which they found the problem in the truck. Which I couldn't believe but I trusted so they fixed which made me a happy camper!Thank You for all the have done.i would take my vehicle back to them I highly recommend this place to work on you vehicle.
