This shop is awesome! Genuine, authentic, honest and RESPECTABLE service! I've had several projects that he's worked on and has always done great quality work. He takes his time to work with me and figure out what it'll take to make the job stay right! Ive taken him custom work before that I was skeptical about the outcome due to difficulty and he knocked it out the park and got it done correctly and legally! Definitely top tier kind of guys here. I've been quoted almost twice as much for the same work at a competitors shop. I'll never go anywhere else for exhaust work.

Honest, polite, quick, fairly priced, and, perhaps most importantly, backs up their work.The shop guarantees their work for 2 years (at least they did for my cat), and when I took my truck back to them with CEL a year after they worked on it, they replaced the whole cat just for the cost of labor ($130 for a 4-hour job) with zero attempts of shirking their responsibility.Several of my family members and friends regularly come here as well, and they have had nothing but great things to say.Should the fellas here be unable to assist you, they are great at recommending someone that can; for instance, I just had an electrical short fixed for a fair price by someone recommended by a member of this shop.All in all, if you need help with your environmental system, brakes, or a recommendation for another service, this is the first place you should come to.

They are the Best Mechanics in El Paso. John, his brother, and Martin are great people and also great general auto repair men. I taken my cars for struts, shocks, tune ups, power steering, brakes, etc. For 25 plus years, I have visited this shop. These guys are great people. I go there for brakes and other repairs. I have recommended them to family and friends, because I trust them. They're humble and honest. Very professional!! Outstanding customer service, clean job, and fair price.After taking my car several times to another shop for different reasons (other than the actual issue) and spending lots of money with them, my car's alternator finally gave up in the middle of the I-10. I was referred to Johnny, who was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and efficient from the moment he sent a towing truck (to get my car to his shop) to recognize and fix the problem in a very short time.

Tried taking my car for some work and wouldn't work on it since I put headers and no cats. Didn't even offer to sell me cats or recommend anybody who wants the work.

We haven't know Johnny long, but we have taken our truck there 3 times now and every time we pick up our truck we leave VERY satisfied with the service, customer service and prices! We will definitely call Johnny if we ever need repairs done again & I will for sure be recommending our family and friends. If you're looking for honest mechanics with friendly service and fair prices Master muffler & Brakes is the place to go!!

Man this Guy has the best prices in town I went to Magic Muffler to get a quote for the same set up and wanted 500 for it came over here for half the price and man my Tahoe sounds clean with the right deep tone but not to loud just the perfect set up I can t express how happy I I m with the work he did !!! I called them and they were able to see me for service first thing the next day. I had to have my front brakes replaced as well as the rear wheel cylinders. They were honest, straightforward, and honored the lifetime warranty for the parts they had previously replaced in 2010. I will be back because a lifetime guarantee on parts is a good deal and they do a great job. My family has had their vehicles serviced there for years.

I brought in an Infinity that he seem not familiar with for some flawless Full custom dual exhaust, swapping spring and break service. Honest and friendly customer service. Have we been to a shop that said to us "oh sir, that job is easy than i thought, so i will charge u less than the initial estimated price".

i have had 3 cars and ive taken all 3 to this shop cause they do amazing work. My grand am had a muffler installed, my eclipse and my civic got Complete exhaust systems done there. Excellent worksmanship and excellent time. Lifetime customer

Have been using them for over 15 years. Have never been over charged and Johnny is always honest and will tell you how long it will take without Bs'ing. He also will let you knew if if its something out of his realm and recommend whom to better take it to.

I came to this place because they had great reviews. They are very friendly. Diagnosed my problem quickly and had it repaired with in 3 hours at a reasonable price. Will go there again if I have issues.

Recently had a true dual flowmaster exhaust system installed on my Tundra. This place is extremely reasonable compared to others; Tony the older gentleman did a superb job with my truck. The final product looks clean and sounds great with two 16" chrome pipes coming out the sides.
