These guys are the real deal as far as speed, friendliness, care and professionalism with the eye for detail. They took on my 30ft RV and welded my Catalytic converter with O2 sensor with little to no notice. They explained the problem and complications in detail and got me back on the road with quality work at a VERY reasonable price!If you are looking to upgrade your brakes, muffler or suspension, look no where else. These guys are for real and they stand by their work too.

I would like to extend a very much thank you to ernie and his staff-i brought my bmw today to have rotors, pads, and sensors (rear) replaced. Job completed was outstanding, very reasonable charge and very professional. Would highly recommend ernies muffler shop for any kind of mechanical work. Individuals that write negative reviews, are probably the ones that drive there vehicles until its there last option to fix something that probably has no cure. But any way to make a long story short-i highly recommend ernies muffler shop to get you safe on the road again, very professional, very reasonable prices, excellent staff and customer service kudos will definitely visit again.

I started going to Ernie's back in 2020 when I commissioned him to fabricate a full 2.5" turbo back exhaust for my wife's Volvo 740. The exhaust not only sounded amazing but withstood the abuse of being on track, no cracks, no exhaust leaks and no rusting.Since then I have recommended all my friends when they need exhaust work done. He has made full exhausts for my friends' Nissan 370Z, BMW Z3, Mitsubishi Eclipse, Ford EcoBoost, and was able to install a cat back exhaust on my wife's new car a Subaru WRX.If you need a quality exhaust system that will last but not break the bank, I 100% recommend Ernie's Muffler and Brakes.

Made an appointment and guy was on time and immediately begin work on my truck. I had 2.25 Rancho leveling struts put on my 2020 F150. I was quoted price and time for completion. Price stayed as quoted and finished 30mins early. Just drove to Dallas and my truck rode excellent!!! Thanks

Do not hesitate to bring your business to ERNIE's!KNOWLEDGEABLE and HONEST!Much more than a muffler and brake shop!EXPERTS - If you have car trouble or a light on, then Ernie-father or son will tell you what's wrong and give you the most fair price.We've found a mechanic who we can TRUST!I went in for an alternator, and they fixed that beautifully. It was only after I asked them to check a sound that I was told about the additional work that my car needed.Twice they have rescued me once with the jumper machine and the second time when I rolled over metal! This makes them like the family mechanics that I thought had disappeared. I refer my friends and coworkers to Ernie's!

Quality work at a great price! Just be prepared to wait or drop off the car for 30 minutes to 2 hours since he takes customers on a first come first serve basis. He worked on both my genesis and mustang for muffler deletes. Wish I could add video to show his handy work but I ll let you find out when you you drop by!

I went to Ernies to get my front brakes changed. Paid $400. As soon as I got my car back, I noticed some changes (car started shaking when brakes were applied or driven at fast speeds). I took my car back to them to check it out and possibly fix the damage. They reported that nothing was wrong and they didn t do anything and instead blamed it on my driving. I took it somewhere else and they specifically mentioned that Ernies not only put CHEAP brakes and rotors in my car but they also put them in incorrectly. I took it back to Ernies AGAIN where they fixed it. The shaking hadn t been fixed at this point so I took it to the dealership (which I should ve done since the beginning). The dealership went on to tell me that Ernies ONCE AGAIN put the brakes on so badly and again with cheap parts that it damaged my car severely that it wasn t even driveable. They also said that the same thing has happened to other customers that take their car to them from Ernies. I wasn t the first but I sure hope I m the last. DO BETTER AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.Service: Brakes

Mr. Ernie and Crew did an awesome job! I recieved some exhaust parts for my birthday and Ernie had no issues installing them and gave me an awesome quote over the phone. Ernie worked on my car too, that speaks volumes of the shop for me. Ernie honored the quote and noticed certain items that needed attention, showed me and did them. The final product came out awesome! Highly recommend this place for all the services they complete.

I took my 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS in to Ernie to have a high flow catted down pipe and custom back exhuast installed. I was quoted a great reasonable price on the spot. I brought in the car the next morning and the job was completed very quickly. The welds were superb and exhaust tip sat perfectly straight. Customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend them for any of your automotive needs.Great shop, great service and reasonable prices. Most importantly is the quality of the work, it is flawless. Thank you Ernie! I will be continuing to service my Cobalt SS with you.

I went in to see if I could have them swap out my stock exhaust with an already assembled Carven exhaust I had bought. Ernie himself quoted me a price and ended up lowering it quite a bit since the switch was really easy. It required no cutting or welding so it was really fast. I was planning on doing it myself, but with the tools I would've had to buy and the fact that the truck needs to be lifted significantly so that the stock exhaust could come out in one piece (which is primarily what I wanted done) I believe it was a great decision to come here to Ernie's. One thing I'd like to point out is that before I went into his shop I read that really positive review by Mike Amparan on their google reviews here about how he went in thinking he was going to have a really expensive exhaust leak fix and it turned out to be some loose bolts. They fixed it up for him and for free!! Wow!! My own 'above and beyond' experience that I had with them is like I mentioned before, he lowered my quoted price, took me in immediately even though I was coming in when they were just about to head out for lunch and the nice lady they had as a receptionist offered me a cold water from their fridge in the waiting room! I was in and out in no more than half an hour. The best customer service I could've ever asked for! Thanks Ernie!!

My son's truck had an exhaust leak and I called to see if I could get an estimate and if they were busy at the moment. The gentleman on the phone said to come on down and he could check it out now. I thought perfect! Ernie's Muffler shop is close to me so I was there within about 10 min. I got there and they immediately took my son's truck in and began looking at it. As I sat there waiting, just a few moments, I decided to go look and see what was going on. He was already working on it and found that it was just a few loose bolts. I was relieved that it was nothing serious so I want back in the waiting room as he finished it up. A few moments later he pulled my son's truck around to the front of the shop and told me there was no charge. I was shocked! I knew this was not going to be an expensive job, but free?? Wow!!I know small businesses are hurting right now and I asked him if he was sure. He said that we were good.I wanted to leave this review because I really appreciate what Ernie's Muffler Shop did for me. Time's are tough right now and I was laid off due to covid so I don't have a lot of money to do repairs like this but my son had already been driving like this for some time and I thought I could at least get an estimate so that I would know what to expect.This is what I call customer service and Ernie's Muffler Shop has now gained a new customer for life. I know it was a small gesture but it was greatly appreciated. I hope this review helps Ernie's Muffler Shop gain more customers. Don't expect it to be free but these guys are good guys and deserve the best.Thanks again Ernie's Muffler Shop. I wish you the best, especially during these times.

I really loved the service I received from Ernie's. I need new brakes and they were able to do it the same day very quickly. They also gave me a ride home and back to the shop. The prices were very reasonable and they were all very nice. I will use them for all my car needs for the rest of our time in El Paso!

I was looking for a good muffler place based on reviews and Ernie and his guys did not disappoint. I took my 1996 Mercedes in for some muffler work, Ernie was very kind and he was able to fix my problem within the day at a very reasonable and fair price. The car runs nice and quiet now and I would recommend him to anybody.

This was my first time at Ernie s Muffler and would highly recommend it. I am very observant and noticed the shop was very clean and organized to begin with. As the owner step out he greeted me very professionally and immediately informed me what would take place! I felt comfortable leaving my daughters Mercedes there! He notified as he new exactly what the problem was and when the job was completed. I would definitely go back for any brake problem.

Over the past two years we've used Ernie's several times on multiple vehicles and have found them to be very trustworthy. My Tundra is less than 3 years old however has over 115,00 miles on it. These guys have gone above and beyond to diagnose and remedy the problems I've had with the rear bearings and axle. This includes having a tech jump in the truck with me (called and gave them a 5 minute heads up) while the truck was warm due to that being the only time the noise would occur. This also includes opening a stall for me on their lifts on a Friday afternoon (15 minutes before they closed) while it was raining and hailing to verify if I had a leak before heading out of town. Ernie Sr. & Jr. are always at the shop and are willing to show you the issues with your vehicle once they determined what it is. They have proved to me they back the warranty of their work too. It's nice to know there are still a few good guys out there in the automotive repair industry. My family highly recommends Ernie's Muffler & Brake!

Reliable work, good quality, experienced people, and family-owned with years of service. Prices are reasonable and mostly deal directly with owner/manager. Have even seen other mechanics using them for their own customers' repairs, like alignments, and charge a premium on Ernie's prices. Only reason not 5 stars is just can get very busy at times (meaning other people feel the same way and continue to go back).

I was worried because a didn't know of any machenic. A friend told me about Ernie's mufflers and I took a chance that I don't regret. I had the catalytic converter replaced on my car. Loved this place!! Outstanding quality work. I needed my exhaust system worked on and they came threw with excellent service at great price. In and out in the same day!! Highly recommended. I ll be sure to be going back for my vehicle needs.

After half a dozen times taking it back, they still couldn't figure out my truck had blown a head gasket! Still they charged me $870 Top that off with the fact that my seats are cloth. After they had it over the weekend, it smelled aweful. My dog smells better than those workers. This is not slander, fact! They can't substantiate their stupidity................

I highly recommend this place. I took my truck to get a alignment. Not only did they finish really quick but they also double checked there work. Which to me means they take pride in the services they offer. I called for a qoute before i went. And I paid exactly what I was quoted over the phone. Thank you Ernie Jr. I appreciate the awesome service. I will definitely recommend you to all my costumers!
