Had my alternator tested at a local auto parts store and was told it was bad. Went to A-1 Starter and Alternator. Was told I would be called in a couple hours to let me know what the problem was. I was called within the 2 hours and told what the problem was. I asked them to repair the alternator and convert it to a 1 wire regulator. Was told it would take a few days to get my replacement parts. I was called 2 days later and told my alternator was repaired and ready for pick up. When I went to pick my alternator up the technician took me inside the shop and physically showed me my alternator worked and indeed put out 14 volts. The price was very fair and considerably cheaper than buying a brand new alternator. Customer service was outstanding and repair time was quicker than expected. This place is GREAT and I HIGHLY recommend this business.

Came in because I needed a new alternator. Walked in and spoke to the two gentleman and explained what was going on. He charged my battery as I waited and was very friendly. 1 hour later I have a brand new alternator installed with a fully charged battery. Would recommend 10/10 any day if the week!!!

Called on a Saturday, just after noon..... OPEN!! Had a bad alternator, quoted prices on the phone for replacement, rebuild, etc.....They do it all. Excellent customer service. Eli and his dad are the dynamic duo! Great communication along the entire job, even pointed out good lunch spots within walking distance!Fair prices for quality craftsmanship. Highly recommended!!

So I broke down in El Paso with a bad alternator today and found this shop. Eli(the owner) was extremely helpful with getting me and my family back on the road within a few hours. Eli was working on another vehicle at the time and told me it would take a couple of hours before he could get to my vehicle, so I asked him if I could borrow the tools to remove it myself. I had it off shortly and him and his father rebuild it while my family and I went to lunch. I installed it when we got back and paid him for the rebuild. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing this specialty.

My bus alternator was tearing through batteries and I was desperate for a fix! A1 was able to get me in and out same day and back on the road for a reasonable price. I would recommend them any day of the week.

Called to get a price on a alternator and he changed the price over the phone from 75$ to 90$. Idiots need to be more serious about your job. Do not recommend this place inless you wanna get scammed.

I bought an alternator for my 2005 Chevy Aveo it cost $135... $50 cheaper than auto zone... they also gave my battery a charge so i can make it home safely... great customer service and excellent prices i highly recommend these guys!!!

Called to ask about a rebuild & the guy wants to charge $140 When i explain that a new alternator is $151 at several auto stores he became rude an angry... terrible customer service so happy I didn t allow them to touch my vehicle!

DONT DO BUSINESS HERE! Ended up waisting 125 dollars for an alternator that never got fixed, on top of the guy being rude and unprofessional

I found the part I needed; but a man gave us a price and when he saw that we belonged to a company the other guy told him that that wasn't the price and he doubled the price and we had to buy it from him because we didn't want to be searching all the way but I think you can see a better optionEncontr� la parte que necesitaba; pero un se�or nos di� un precio y al ver que perteneciamos a una compa��a el otro sujeto le dijo que ese no era el precio y duplic� el precio y se lo tuvimos que comprar porque no quer�amos estar buscando en todo el paso pero creo que puede ver una mejor opci�n
