I m from out of town I googled multiple mechanic shops here in Delrio. So called the shop asking for a Diagnostic they said they can look at the car. I wanted to verify what Mecanic it was and the guy on the phone got hostile and hung up. Bad customer service

This guy is a thief. Took my car in to get worked on, provided him the part and he fixed it, broke down the next day in Sonora heading to Fort Worth, had to find a mechanic in Sonora (where I ended up spending 6 hours!!) and he said that the part looked old and I said it shouldn t look old I just had it replaced the day before. I called George s and he said he could fix it again (when I got back) for an extra $250!!! You re going to charge me an extra $250 for something you didn t fix to begin with?? I ended up going with someone entirely new and they took the part out that George s fixed and it wasn t even the part I had originally purchased! So this guy basically kept the new part I bought and tried to fix the original part and didn t even bother telling me!! I would NOT trust this guy! Horrible service! Horrible experience!!

Same day service on my a/c. They recommended diagnostic before charging. Performed test to verify no leak. Kept me informed of price & time frame to complete job.Fast, friendly, & reasonably priced. I believe that's the 1st time I've ever said that about an auto repair shop.I will take my car back there again. I will tell every person I know about the quality of their service.

No customer service. Terrible at giving customers updates. Hardly answers the phone and you yourself have to call multiple times before someone cares enough to be back in touch. Goes over dates given. We are now two weeks over when they said we should be given our car back. The worst part is we've been given no reason why and we weren't given any update. We actually had to call the other service shop they said they would deliver to when finished. At this point I can't trust what the actual work will be like.Adding that we finally got our vehicle back. They managed to put the transmission in, but left it loose, didn't connect hoses, the starter was disconnected, and the transmission fuel was left low. All things they were supposed to handle considering we paid them to do so. So the dealership who did the last finishing touches had to fix those things costing us an extra $480. Our car was also returned with a lot of scratches that wasn't there before. Thankfully most outside of one are surface damages, but it's still completely unprofessional to treat your customers vehicle like nothing and return it in worse condition cosmetically. George's is a joke and I will never recommend this place.

George auto is the worst mechanic in Del Rio took my mustang there needed a head repaired left it there for 10 months and all he did was trash the motor on the car and excuse after excuse and gave him one thousand dollars and only got returned $200.00 dollars and a trashed motor that now no one wants to touch very bad experience with this so called mechanics all they are,are thieves.

Do not waist your time using George s Auto for your machanic needs. I waisted a lot of time and money here and if I can save someone from having to go through what I went through then this review is already worth it. I should have just went to the machanic at Brown Nissan, where I ve had good luck with outter body work or I should have just towed my vehicle to San Antonio..My vehicle had a broken head gasket and wow did that turn into a very big deal, the owners would avoid my calls, leading it to ring once or twice and go straight to voicemail, and the communication with what was happening to my vehicle was non existent. Considering I spent almost $3,000 here and they had my car for almost 3 MONTHS(that s right, so I was making car payments for a vehicle I didn t even have for that long) you would expect better service. Also, don t expect any warranty, our car had a warranty for their labor for a couple of months and then we were screwed if their work ended up being faulty after that. I can t speak for their quality of work in the long run because we got rid of the car because it was still having issues after they worked on it but I m unsure if it was related to their work or not, considering it was a 2015 I ll leave you to assume if it was or not.

Beware! Worst experience ever. Horrible customer service, barely answer their phones, did not keep their promised return date of vehicles and wanted more money then the cost estimate!! After having the vehicle for 2 months and multiple promised dates for it to be fixed finally had to take the car to another mechanic and pay $500 to get the car properly fixed after George's had "fixed it." Go anywhere else!!! Wouldn't wish this nightmare on anyone!!

Mediocre car repair work, and no customer service at all. We've been lied to multiple times and then spoken to very condescendingly when trying to rectify the situations. After giving George's multiple chances, I recommend going anywhere else.
