Not the place it used to be. Something changed In 2023. Been going here for almost a decade but the people that used to work here don't anymore. Last I was told they overhauled the entire service department. Back then you had people like Micheal Johnson who were 10/10. You got exactly what you came for, they were super helpful and didn't pressure or trick you into purchasing things you didn't need. The last 3 visits this year were horrendous. Got duped into buying something that was unnecessary, the wait times were much longer, if you had a small issue they wanted to run a diagnostic on the entire vehicle so they can charge you $200, they also didn't honor our warranty for a battery and were arguing with each other how it's a different battery when it literally said Honda on it. Extremely unprofessional. I refused their service more than once this year and went to local shops instead where everything was resolved quickly and cheaper. I highly suggest you look into other options or confirm everything before committing.

An absolute horrible experience, started out with serviceman Juan, Jeffery Harris was given to a Crystal and then today a service manager by the name of Kat White and how this organization is comfortable with making up bogus charges at this time of the year to a 8 to 10 year faithful customer is far beyond me. First off on Dec 11th when I brought my car in for service it register 5 different service lights I was told I would have to repay a diagnostic fee in which I had just paid 10 to 12 days prior on a road trip and I shared with them the identical lights registered, I was told I wad given the wrong diagnosis which was a $393.00 fee in Michigan then Freedom Honda, 39680 LBJ Frwy Dallas, TX gives me a new fee on Dec 16, 2023 of 2,302.78, I drive my car of the lot and within minutes the car registers the same IDENTICAL signals, I was told to leave it again and they would have it complete on Monday after I got off work and when I get to the location the representative is sacastic all management is gone for the day as if it is just my problem, not ok, by this time I must admit I am having an out of body experience and really trying to cancel payment. I receive a call from Kat White and she did apologize, but it is offensive for Honda to offer only 3 oil changes for the experience I have received and to receive a notification indicating that it was the connector softset reset cleared codes that was adjusted, I need a refund for this bogus service. To add to this distress I was sent an apprissal of $14,000.00 to trade my car in of which I just paid off a year early in October. Talk about a rip off of bad service, where is the justice in fair labor practice? Please have someone from your home office contact me as soon as possible.

I really hate giving bad reviews. The staff was polite, just overworked and not very communicative. I made an appointment to bring my car in because there was a charging issue and the battery was failing to charge. 90% chance it was the alternator but I was still under warranty so I figured I'd take it to the dealership. I drove it in 7am Tuesday morning. Tuesday afternoon they still haven't looked at it. Wednesday afternoon they call me back and tell me the $200 diagnostic said the 1 year old battery is dead and they can't determine if there's an issue with the alternator until I pay $300 out of pocket for a new battery and installation on top of the $200 diagnostic charge and they do the diagnostics again. They also waited until I came to pick it up to transfer it to a different repair shop before doing a recall repair that they did not inform me about which resulted in me having to wait for 30 min before my car was ready to leave even though they'd had it for 2 full business days at that point and I wasn't having any repair work done with them.I ended up having it towed an hour across the metroplex to the dealership I usually use Wednesday night. They get to it first thing when they open Thursday morning. They said the battery is fine. They tested the alternator and see that that's failed, replace it, recharge my battery, and it's all covered by warranty and ready the Thursday afternoon. I paid $200 and waited 2 days for Freeman to tell me my battery was dead when I could have taken it to Kwik Kar and had the alternator replaced for about that out of pocket. Another Honda dealership got it fixed in the same day and for free under the Honda Cares warranty.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Had a great visit at Freeman Honda. Took my vehicle in for a service and since I have the service package I did not have to pay anything. They got me in and right out in a timely fashion. The reps who greeted me were awesome and they did not try to sell me on anything I did not need. While I waited inside it was nice and clean and their refrigerator was stocked with drinks of my choice. It was a relaxing 30 minutes for my needed service.

The staff here is friendly, polite and kind but the communication, organization and difficulty reaching staff is abysmal. I was asked to bring in my vehicle at 8am for AC coolant service and was told I should have it back midday. At 5pm, after much difficulty reaching service staff, I was told my vehicle just sat there all day and no one even touched it. NOTHING was communicated to me, even after calling multiple times pleading for any info at all. I asked for my vehicle to be released as I felt extremely disrespected and devalued. Coolant service takes a few hours, not a few days! Freeman Honda is not deserving of my business and I will not return.

In the end I was taken care of, just know timing depends on if the car before was something more extensive than it usually takes. This is the only close Honda dealership around. Set appointment for SERVICE CENTER & it helped me get in but I was quoted an hour 45mins to 2 hours. 8:07 am. 2 hours and 35 minutes later, I was still sitting there. Customer service ok, but we are understanding. Just let customers know it is a longer than usual wait time and i would havw planned around it. I left dealership after 11.

I had been to this place to change oil and filter for my Odyssey, I felt the rates are a bit on the higher side compared to other showrooms.Even for the disposal of waste collected after service has been charged to an extent of 12$.The spare parts counter is great with good service.

Spent 3+ hours there over a recall. They asked me to come back because an airbag was missing and they would replace it for free because of the recall in a week. After 2 weeks I called them because I had heard nothing to find that they said they would not replace the air bag and I could pay 1400 for it if I like. I said " do I need that legally because I don't really have that to spend right now" and the guy who ran the department told me it depended on how much I loved the person behind the wheel.

I've had good experiences with both the sales team and service side. I was resistant to allowing them to do some service... But we are very happy with the results and... Shockingly the price was fair. Thank you

Took my car in for service and Ivan Perez met me at the door. Sure hope Freeman Honda don't let this man get away. He was so polite and professional and answered all my questions. You could tell he loves his job and likes helping the customer. Got me out sooner then expected.I've been a customer with Goode/Taylor/Freeman Honda over 50 years and seen many Service Advisors come and go, but Ivan is one of the best I've dealt with. Management needs to keep a eye on Ivan Perez because he goes the extra mile for the company and customer.Great job Mr.Perez!! Keep up the good work it will payoff down the road.Tommy

This is the third Honda service department I try and just like the other two, customer service has a long way to go. I took my car to get serviced at 10am and went about my day as normal. At 5pm I noticed the time and realized that I had not heard from them at all, so I called and they let me know that the service department was closed but an employee was still on site for me to pick up, he said hopefully you can get here before 6 instead of We can wait for you. I could ve been car-less the entire weekend due to them neglecting to call me when my vehicle was done being serviced. I walked away without any sort of apology, and needless to say I will not be returning.

Initially it seemed like an ok experience. Although as days went by they were very uncommunicative and seemed uninterested in my older Honda Accord. They charged me 1450 for a sensor and to adjust the timing. I showed up there as they were completing it. I watched them drive it out of the shop then they offered me a job! When I came back later that day to pick it up I paid then went outside to leave and it wouldn't start! They said sorry can't do anything for you except charge me 1200 more for a possible head gasket job. I would recommend nobody ever go here for service!!

Freeman Honda s Service Rep Michael Johnson, was great to work with. My Honda is older and he reviewed the details with me, which made me feel comfortable that my car was in tip top shape. Thank You!

I've only been to two Honda locations Irving and Duncanville. The Ducanville, dealership is my favorite! The staff is awesome! The service department is great! Knowledgeable, courteous, professional. I give them 5 Stars and highly recommend this location. Irving I give maybe a 2. Don't recommend.
