Tim did a heck of a job in rebuilding my Cummins 6.7 engine on my 08 Ram 3500. He was able to diagnose the problem before he told me the unfortunate news about having to rebuild the engine. Luckily, I went to the right person for the job. He gave me detail by detail info on the process and what needed to be done. He was always in communication with me and gave me daily updates. He s my go to mechanic moving forward for my truck.

I m not normally one to write reviews, but on rare occasion I come across someone that is just so far and away better across the board than I m used to experiencing, that I want to help promote them. Tim is one of those rare gems. Don't let his age fool you. He s young but his knowledge and skill are worthy of recognition. Perhaps more important for a consumer is his uncompromising focus on quality. I trusted Tim with the installation of a full compliant of Banks upgrades on my brand new 2022 Ram 2500 Cummins 6.7, to include ram air intake, boost tubes, and Monster Ram intake manifold/elbow. A very difficult task if you don t want to remove refrigerant lines, coolant hoses and whole host of other obstacles. It took much longer than expected, and I couldn t leave the truck with him overnight, so he stayed at his shop working on the project until 11:00 PM on a Friday to get it done and done right. I will be using Tim for all work on my truck going forward, and I encourage you to check him out as well.

Tim did an excellent job! He was very helpful and very clear on the work that needed to be done. Aside from being a smart and very able mechanic, Tim is overall a nice guy to talk to. Amazing service! John services our grooming vans and he is amazing. He went above and beyond this weekend in my van broke down in the middle of Bridgeland last week. He was able to squeeze in my van and get her fixed within a few days. I greatly appreciate everything you do for us!

Found johns auto and diesel repair looking for a private garage. Needed major engine work done. I got tired of the chain places over charging do to location. He s friendly , upfront , keeps in touch on progress and the prices are reasonable. Definitely going to use his services in the future.

John (goes by Tim) is a rare find. Before Tim, I had been to two other mechanics to fix a persistent overheating problem with my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both shops immediately said it was a head gasket issue without getting under the hood, and both did $8-900 worth of work plus a $150 inspection without fixing the issue. Tim charged a $90 full inspection that he deducted from the cost of his work. That same day, he ruled out the gasket/engine and found the real issue - which both other guys missed, and even found that part of the previous work was faulty. He gave me a quote at the outset that he stuck to, despite doing more work than originally anticipated. He also was extremely courteous throughout the process and very communicative, even storing my car while I was out of town and unable to pick it up.For reference, I live in Austin and commute to Houston regularly. Tim s shop is north of Cypress and not at all convenient for me, but I will go out of my way to take my car to him for anything it needs in the future. Plus, he offers mobile mechanic services as well. Be sure to give him a call!

A lot of people don't trust what the mechanics say. However; Tim is a mechanics you can trust because he tells the truth and looks out for the Saftey of you and your family when he fixes your car. So if you don't want saftey, honesty and an affordable fix then this shop isn't for you.Oh yeah he went the extra mile and made sure my ac was running cold in this hot summers heat.

Tenacious! We brought our ten-year-old vehicle in for dead starts and an inspection of items needed to be repaired because we were going to have our teenage daughter use the vehicle for her daily driver. Tim did a full evaluation of the system and discovered the issue was caused by our inexperience driver not completely turning off the vehicle when she parked it. He also discovered items that we had neglected over the years that required attention.Tim was able to replace shocks and lower control units of the vehicle to make it ride better and be safer.Anytime work is done on a vehicle there are always unknown. When an issue did come up, Tim contacted me and let me know what was needed. He offered to work late to get the vehicle finished as promised. I had to tell him to go home to his family and get the vehicle to me later.I appreciate Tim s honesty and work ethic. Johns Automotive & Diesel Repair is the most reliable diesel truck repair location I have come across. Tim communication throughout the process helped me understand the steps needed to get my 2012 F250 back up and running. The pricing structure was clear and fair from the beginning. The customer service was excellent and I would return again if I ever need additional services.

I will be using Tim for all of my automotive repairs.My truck was broke down and I was just about to tow to a shop for a few hundred bucks when we discovered Tim. Tim made time even after being booked solid on a holiday weekend to come by and give an estimate on the repairs. His estimate was solid, his labor cost me less than the tow would have, and he did all the work on the truck in just a few hours. This truck was left to us from our grandpa that passed and means the world to us. Being new to the area and not having the resources or knowing who you can trust can be pretty frustrating. My mind is at ease when it comes to a mechanic. My truck runs better than the day we picked it up. Tim was great! Another "mechanic" had crossed wires to the ignition. A true mystery job. But he stuck with it until the problem was found and solved! Responsive and reasonable. Will definitely use him again.

This guy is the best of the best I went from worrying about replacing my whole engine to just needing a simple little part he was done quick and even went the extra mile to take care of my messed up battery terminal and my serpentine belt on top of the timing belt and water pump so overall amazingly satisfied did an amazing job 1000/10 would definitely recommend
