I needed suspension work done to my tundra to level lift the front and was given substantial advice from Jay the mechanic, he ended up fixing/adjusting what I needed to be done to proper specs as desired. Jay really knows what he was doing and working with, will definitely recommend his advice and workmanship with A1 results! Appreciate it

I experienced recurring electrical issues with my battery, and the team here consistently provided excellent service. They patiently explained the problem each time and offered to investigate further at no additional cost if the issue persisted. Unlike other places in town, they don t overcharge, which is greatly appreciated, especially for someone like me who isn t very well-versed in car things. They re awesome and I highly recommend their services :)

Excellent friendly service. I had an AC issue on an older vehicle. The mech took it back found exactly what was wrong, they told me how much it would cost and knocked it out. Manager and mechanic had great communication throughout process with me and having parts ordered/delivered promptly. They gave me peace in mind with warranty for service. I will definitely return for any auto issues. Thank you Performance Auto Tech.

Very good service it was super fast. I went in with some AC problems in my car & Guillermo was very helpful with the diagnosis. He didn t beat around the bush or misguide me to what it could be or any maybe s . He knew what he was talking about, was very friendly, & very professional. Everyone showed great hospitality and made the experience awesome. I will definitely come back for any of my future car repairs or problems & will very gladly refer anyone to go there.

I found these guys thru American Muscle I'm glad they recommended these guys because they were very professional and completed the work I needed done in a timely matter with quality work 10/10 will recommend to my buddy's and anyone looking for a good shop will be returning soon!

It is very rare that I give 5 stars on a review. Only because there is normally something that could be tweaked and improved on. I must say that Performance Auto Tech is one of those rare jewels in the auto industry. My wife and I took our Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van when it started acting up and failing to get past 45 mph. P.A.T. evaluated the problem and stood behind us with the warranty company paperwork. They tirelessly went back and forth through out the entire process. They kept me informed with any change, no mater how small, that came up. They say that when you find a mechanic shop that is good and you trust stay with them. I plan on doing just that. They are honest, good and very reasonable. I highly recomend Performance Auto Tech to anyone who needs work done.M.J.

I recently took my truck in to get the battery cables replaced along with my brakes and a tune up for my 2010 Tundra. I dropped it off shortly after they opened around 9AM and the service manager (Guillermo) called me later during the day around 2PM to provide an update on the status of the truck and the work completed. He also stated they ran into an issue with the cable but were working towards finding the necessary parts which was a 2 gauge cable and copper tubing to crimp onto it. Along with them scrambling to search for the necessary parts they returned the new battery I d purchased and replaced it with another one with the top posts located closer to the fuse box so that the battery cables could reach it. The service manager and the owner explained exactly what each service would cost item by item PRIOR to agreeing to proceed with the work as well as broke down the reason why my catalytic converter was tripping the check engine light.I later got a call that they d found the materials to fix the cables and that my truck would be ready for pickup. These guys (owner/service manager/mechanics) went out of their way to make things happen (which I acknowledge and appreciate) so that I could get my truck the same day and go out of town the next day as planned.All in all, I was very satisfied with the experience there and will be going back if my truck ever needs to have more work done to it. They were courteous, professional, thorough and efficient. They don t make you feel rushed, or like you re bothering them or get the feeling that they re trying to take advantage of you with ridiculous pricing (all of which I ve seen at other shops).NOTE: They also gladly offered and gave me a ride home while the work was conducted on my truck. When it was done, they asked if I needed a ride back but I already had a ride. Another thing, they stayed a half hour after closing time to ensure they finished the job and I got my truck which I also appreciated.* * * * *

Was stranded in Corpus Christi. Had my alternator replaced. Performance had the part overnighted to them and I was on my way at 11am. Thanks for a great job

Performance Auto Tech is the best auto repair shop in Corpus Christi. Benny and his entire team are very knowledgeable, professionally and friendly. I have been going to him for 10 years and would not take my cars anywhere else.

I spoke to Guillermo over the phone today about a full routine service for my truck and he gave me all the information i needed! I went straight in and he got with me right away about the services my truck needed, he was completely transparent about the prices of the oil change, oil filter , engine air filter and asked if i had any preferences which i appreciated ! Even offered coffee, water, and snacks! All my work was done super fast and he answered all the questions I had! I'm new to the area so I was unsure of who to go to, but performance auto tech cc definitely did an outstanding job in going above and beyond my standards for an auto shop. I would trust these guys with my truck and car again. Will definitely come back and recommend to family and friends!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Went to get my passenger break light fixed, Guillermo helped me out immediately and also on the phone! Was wonderful service! Andrew fixed my light, super quick and easy! They made it a great experience, definitely going back in the future!

Went for alignment. Jay was very helpful and did a great job of explaining the reasoning for things I need done to my truck. However, I took it for a second opinion and realized everything he said I needed was not true. I m sure he knows what he is doing but at the end of the day it s a business and quotas need to be met. Don t get taken advantage of and ALWAYS get a second opinion. Saved me $1,100. Got my alignment done for $80 and tires rotated and balanced for $80. Vehicle drives much better. Also, I saw the gunk of grease you left on my axle. Nice try Jay, you almost had me.

The service was above and beyond what the others wanted to charge. I got a better brake job with new rotors not resurfaced and did a few extras that nobody else would have. This is my new go to place for service on my truck

Guillermo and Bennie are the go to guys for your foreign auto needs. One of my drs recommended them because he takes his race cars and foreign babies there - he raved about them and he wasn t wrong. They ran into an unusual issue with my brakes, spent hours on finding and fixing the problem and very likely saved our lives. They were so kind and gracious even when I got frustrated. Their entire staff is so professional. And their prices are very reasonable, in view of the specialty work they do. I am so thankful they are here in Corpus Christi and I don t have to be towed to San Antonio. They are AWESOME.

All I can say is WOW. Walk in service at a mechanic in this day and age. Went for front brakes walk in and 90 minutes later finished. The communication was awesome. Will recommend to anyone needing mechanical work done.

Stopped by to get my engine light checked Guillermo was super professional and helpful with the diagnostic and informing me not only what was wrong with my vehicle but gave me additional options on how to fix the issue myself will definitely be returning whenever needing work

Took a week fixing an issue that they themselves told me could be done in a matter of hours. Difficult to get a hold of, and seem to only work when you're constantly asking for updates. They eventually stopped picking up the phone and would put me on hold indefinitely. The only positive was the price, which was lower than I expected. Not only would I not recommend Performance Auto Tech, I'd strongly advise everybody to take their business elsewhere.

I recently had the pleasure of being referred to PAT for installation of aftermarket brake pads and discs on my 2019 Charger Hellcat.Guillermo and staff were amazingly professional and courteous. The work was done on time as promised. They took me to work and brought the car to me at the end of the day.The shop is clean, neat and easy to find.They are amazing and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

They did a great job getting my car road ready and safe. I had my uca's and swaybar links replaced. They also did my alignment and air induction and burped my cooling system.
