So I had an absolute horrible experience with Will and his shop. Horrible customer service from Will and James. I took my truck in to get a brake job done. I simply told him I need brakes he recommended that I get pads and rotors and quoted me $730. This is my work truck, so I needed it done ASAP and I agreed even though I felt that was extremely high, my expectations were that they have quality service and use quality parts since they are a professional auto shop. Well my experience was anything but that at first Will was very nice and helpful and then when he did the job about 15,000 miles later the brakes were already shot. The pads were extremely damaged, which led to the rotors being damaged Basically the $730 job he did was now needing to be replaced entirely. I went back to him by phone first and never got a callback so a few days later I drove to his shop with the pads in hand and to show him the rotors, and he was supposedly out picking up parts, so I left and tried calling two more times each time leaving a very detailed message about exactly what it happened and how I felt about it the first time I visited him about the pads when I noticed they were prematurely worn. He said he could not warranty them because he had to get them from a dealership and they would not warrantee the pads. My thoughts were well. How is that my problem that he chose to get those pads and put them on my vehicle so he should back the parts that he purchases or he doesn't need to purchase parts they don't have warranties if he's worried about being Reimbursed himself if something happens which I completely understand but it was his choice to buy those pads. He never mentioned anything to me about it and he put them on my truck along with brand new rotors so after looking at the pads and telling me that they were no good and that he could not warranty them. I said OK no problem at that point I thought I was just down a couple hundred dollars for the pads and labor, but I had a friend that was going to do the work for me this time so I took them to him to change out the pads and come to find out the rotors were completely damaged as well. I took plenty of pictures and even we're going to take the parts up to his shop where I ran into a guy name James which when I mentioned What was going on he stated that he had heard my message on the phone and that there's nothing that they can do about it because the rotors were damaged because of the brake pads and the brake pads came from a dealership and we're not warranted. Long story short I went to the dealership they of course, told me that that was a transaction between me and the shop that I would have to go to them about it, which I completely agreed with and the shops transaction was between the dealership which if they bought from them knowing they were not gonna get warranted. That's their fault not mine long story short I was told there was nothing the shop could do he didn't even offer to make anything right or to help at all to be honest with you I left three messages and never received one single phone call back I thought long and hard about leaving this review because I'm a business owner myself and I do not encourage nor like to do negative reviews, especially if you have not tried to make the Matter better with the person you were dealing with, but as this continued on, I decided to leave this review since I never even received a call back or anything and I could not help but think what if this would've happened to somebody that was living paycheck to paycheck and could not afford to spend that amount of money again to replace parts that usually will last 80 to 100,000 miles just after 15,000.Service: Brakes

These guys take great care of diagnosing and servicing my f-250. Besides regular oil changes, fuel filter changes and alignments. I ve used them for replacing worn out steering components, wheel bearings and shocks.

I took my dually in for an alignment & it was done quickly, properly & for an extremely fair price. First time using this shop, but it was well recommended by a mechanic I respect, and I see why.1/12/24 - Return visit, I think almost 2 years later, for ball joints & tie rods. My truck has been tire-hungry, so I had it checked out. They got it in this morning, around 0815 & I was rebuilt, realigned, road tested, and out the door by 1100. Great, family run shop! I have spoken with the owner a time or 2, and today I met his daughter, who is sweet as she can be, and his wife, who was in a short time at my completion. The 3 of them are awesome together, and the other shop mechanics all seem to work like family - seems like a great environment.

I went there for the second time today. I had them inspect my brakes and tires to see if I needed them plus other needed work. They gave me their HONEST assessment of no work needed at this time. I ve been using Montgomery Automotive for several years now and they have always done a tremendous job at affordable and fair prices. Most important thing of note, is their honesty and integrity. On separate occasions, they have replaced my oil pump, my transmission cooler/condenser, and my coolant pump and thermostat. I wouldn t trust anyone else under the hood! These guys were very communicative, didn t try and hassle me for anything but kept me informed when they found other issues. I had them replace a power steering pump which ended up bringing to light some pulley issues, one of which they had to replace because it literally fell apart. Totally understandable. They worked on my 2004 Toyota 4Runner w/ 372K miles and she is my BABY. I d trust these guys with her. Very reasonably priced as well.

Called and scheduled an appointment to replace the spark plugs on my car, they had me in and out in 30 minutes and charged me a fair price. Nice people!

Too busy to work on your vehicle. Took my car in, had parts ordered. There was a delay due to a funeral. Understandable. I was pushed out another week. Call back a week later and they tell me they are too busy try again next week. 3 weeks in on some e brake shoes. I will go elsewhere.Edit: after making this post, I got online to check on parts for my vehicle and through the website they used they were here this morning. Why I had to wait a week in the first place for parts is beyond me. It took less than 24hrs to be delivered to my door. It s also a 20min job.

This place goes above beyond! I live out of town and was visiting family for a holiday weekend. We dropped my car off on a Saturday and didn't think to check when they closed, so when we went to pick it up around 4pm and they were closed we panicked since they wouldn't be open until Tuesday and I had to leave town on Monday. I messaged them on facebook and within 1 hour they met us up there to give me my car and keys. Seriously outstanding customer service plus they did a great tune up on my car!Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

A simple $4 switch wound up costing $1600 ans STILL NOT FIXED! We had to start over at a new shop because they wouldn't release the vehicle unless we first paid for the bogus and unnecessary repairs of new issues that they likely caused themselves. All the while the owner and rude employees laughing together (the place had no work going on). A nightmare.I'm not sure how they got 4.5 avg. Contemplating legal action.Service: Electrical

Very upset with service and treatment. We decided to bring our vehicle here on someone else's referral about their"honesty." Brought our vehicle in for a window regulator that was inoperable and was given an estimate of $300.00 for repairs and left paying for $500.00 in additional unauthorized repairs. We called two days after dropping the vehicle off and were told that it would be another 2 days before the window regulator came in, we confirmed the cost and were told the repairs and part would be between 300-400 dollars. We called three days after that to see if there was an estimated completion date and were told the work was complete and we could pick up anytime. When confirming the amount, we were told that it would be $800.00 because they replaced the motor for the window as well. When we asked why nobody had reached out to us for authorization or communication of these repairs, we were basically blown off and told that they "thought" they called. The person on the phone confirmed that with tax, parts, and labor the total was $800.00. Throughout this whole process the only line of communication was when we reached out to them for updates. When picking our vehicle up, we were told that the repairs and labor totaled $870.00. So now, an additional $70.00 was added somehow. When we asked the tech who was checking us out where the additional $70.00 came from, he ignored us. In fact, he didn't talk to us at all during the whole check-out process. We are very nice people and had someone admitted the mistake or even apologized to us versus having an "oh well" attitude, we probably would have been fine and forgot about it. The fact that they lacked the decency to even extend an apology shows complete lack of integrity. We are pretty sure that we didn't even need the window motor considering the other three windows have already had the same issue and the motor was not an issue, just the regulator. DO NOT RECOMMEND BRINGING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

This place has been very easy to work with, and they have had stellar communication. Getting our Amsoil changed, along with fuel filter, oil filter, and inspections, has been easy. We will be back for sure.

It has taken me a while to find a shop I trust! I live in Houston, and will drive here now for service. Both times I have come in, they have been honest, given great service, and not trying to sell me anything but just give me facts. I had an inspector at another shop in Houston tell me I needed to replace my brake pads soon. Montgomery automotive, free of charge, looked at my brake pads and assured me I still had more than 15k to go until they needed to be replaced. Really nice people who are always so helpful. Thank you!

Do not recommend. The service went downhill and they couldn't get my alignment done after 2 visits to the shop and more than 8 hrs of waiting. Frustrated customer and wanted to know what the issue is, then one of the owners underminds me being a woman and blames it on the brand new tires possibly and rudely hangs up on me when I called to complain about the truck being in worse condition. If you don't respect your customers and appreciate their business, you shouldn't be offering any services.

I only use these guys to change the oil in my car. I don t trust any other company to do it. The people here are incredibly friendly and always willing to help and solve a problem. Came in with our entire back end messed up and this place and it s staff made it right. Replaced the brakes, calipers, brake lines, rotors and everything we needed to be on the road for Michigan. We have never had to fix or replace anything that Montgomery Automotive has done to our vehicle once we travel over 1300 miles. Very satisfied customers here!

I brought my car here for an oil leak and front brake change after being quoted ridiculous prices at a different shop. They fixed the leak and changed the brakes for a very reasonable price and I was extremely happy with the service! I cannot attest to their service because I walked out before they even came and spoke to me. They were alerted when I arrived because of the dinging signal wire that you drive over, yet standing at the register for 10 minutes and not one employee came to check on me or see what I needed. What was really frustrating is after about 5 minutes of standing there another vehicle showed up, they acknowledged that customer, but left me standing at the desk. I gave them 5 more minutes and walked out.

I went to Montgomery Automotive this morning to have my car inspected, and was in and out in 10 minutes. The waiting area was clean and welcoming and the shop area was also clean and tidy. This was my first time there since moving to Conroe. The appearance of a business tells me a lot about how they run their business, and I was impressed.

The guys at Montgomery Automotive worked quickly to make repairs to my car. The price seemed fair & I was very satisfied with the service. Had headlamp replaced, oil change, and inspection done. They also worked with us so we could start the work on the car as we headed out of town. Recommend!!! Nice guys, too!

I've then here multiple times in the past few months with both my car and my husband's car. These guys are super honest and they've given me great prices on everything I haven't had any issues with any of the repairs or work they have done. I highly recommend these guys to anybody that needs work on their cars.
